The Tree Guys of Texas

Tree Guys came out to look at our backyard before sending a crew to work. We really liked that because we could take the time to look at what needed to be done and also the cost. Basically we had them "helicopter" under all the trees so we could mow without hitting limbs and open up the backyard. They were prompt, efficient and on time. They cleaned everything and took all branches, leaves, etc. with them. Very professional group that we had at our house. We really liked that. Great job. Will use them again, for sure.

Mike called at 8:30am promptly and put a two man team in place to do the work. They worked non-stop for 9.5 hours trimming 3 large pecan trees, 1 small oak and 1 large anaqua. The men were thorough, did a great job cleaning it all up and the trees look beautiful - better than they have in years. Mike went out of his way to make it affordable and called me the next day to make sure I was satisfied before taking the payment. A great experience altogether. Would definitely recommend to my neighbors.

I contacted the top three rated tree trimming companies on Angie's List for estimates of the work I needed. Mike was great. He did not try to up sell me, and he spent the most time with me explaining what would be done to the trees. Mike also provided great advice on what I could do to help my oak trees thrive. He gave the names of a couple of nurseries where I could get what he recommended. I met with Mike on Friday for the estimate and the work was done by Thursday evening the following week. The work they performed is excellent. Mike did everything he said he would do at an excellent price.

They were the lowest bid. Showed up on time. When a hive of bees in one tree presented a problem they called an exterminator to deal with the problem and though they needed to contact a second exterminator to do what the first could not they did not charge me for the service. While there was some damage to plants near the trees I had anticipated the damage and there was less than expected. Overall very satisfied with the service.

Prompt response to call. Very professional; provided detailed analysis of what should be done. We were impressed and ranked them right up there with the others from whom we received estimates.

I think they provided good service and did what we needed and professional. They had missed a spot but I called them and they came back out and treated it right away.

These guys are awesome! They are great on price and don'y try to up-sale you into spending thousands on tree trimming. I called many companies and they seemed to be the most reliable and customer friendly. They went and did the job within a week of calling and they got the job done for the coupon I bought. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know!

I got bids from several companies but decided to go with this company because of a combination of price (and coupon) and philosophy. One of the companies wanted to take out some "undercarriage" oak trees and at first it sounded like a good idea. Then after listening to Mike I decided against that and use his crew. They were extremely polite and walked around with me before, during, and after the job to make sure they got the limbs that I wanted either trimmed or removed. I would highly recommend them! If trimming trees can be a pleasant experience, it was!

The Tree guys were prompt - they gave me an estimate the same day I called. They came to my house and performed the work at the scheduled day and time. They did an excellent job on my live oak (canopy lift). It looks much better! All the work on the other trees look good too. I'm sure I will be calling them in the future as my trees continue to grow and need trimming.

Overall very good. Trees looked great that were done. Due to the deal they ran out of time for a 4th tree but were straightforward about it. With a crew of 5 for 2 hours 4 trees is about right. Very satisfied

The team was timely, efficient, and thorough. They were careful not to damage other landscaping.

It went well. They came when they said they would and did what they said they were going to do. They did it on time. They charged the same amount as they said they would. The man I dealt with who I think may be was the owner was very professional and it was a good experience. I would use them again in the future.

This was the first time that I use this company and they did a good job. We would definitely have them back. I pursue on using this company because of the prices and the reviews were best on the reviews on Angie’s List.

I have used the tree guys in the past and was very happy with the work. I had a tree fall this past Sunday and immediately called Mike. He put aside his plans for the day and brought his crew over that afternoon. With in a couple of hours he had everything cleaned up and was gone.

The Tree Guys were fabulous! They know all about the trees and even took care to not disturb any bird nests! They went above and beyond my expectations and made sure I was completely satisfied when they were done. I wish I would have written this review at the time so I could remember all of the details, but let me just say, I priced several venders and they were in the middle price range. I selected them because they displayed their knowledge of trees by walking with me through my yard and discussing the types of trees I had and providing sound recommendations. My trees had never looked so good as they did once they were finished!

They did a good job. Their price was great.

Good. But company disbanded

They were great. They’re efficient, friendly, and do great cleanup. I have called them since for additional but they’re extremely busy. The owner was so pleasant to deal with.

They went out of their way to do more than what was included in the prepaid service, and shredded all the branches to give me an excellent supply of mulch. Excellent service and I will hire them again. Great job!

I got 3 estimates and they were the most reasonable. They were busy and could not do the job for 2 weeks. I had not had the front yard trees trimmed in quite a few years so they were very overgrown. They also trimmed some lower branches in the backyard. When I added a few extra limbs to cut off from the estimate, Mike did not charge more and I got an Angie's list discount. They spent most of the day and working and did a great job traimming and cleaning up (see before and after photos). I didn't notice until after they left that my birdhouse on a post got knocked down and was propped back up. They had cut an oak limb over it. The birdhouse was old and the post was rotting, but I just wish they would have been honest about it.

I was very satisfied with the Tree Guys work.
