Very Very poor service. Had a year long service contract with them and over $7000 in invoices and had terrible customer service. 3 main problems: 1- Could not get the same day for weekly service, kept switching from a Tuesday to at times on a Thursday and at times a Friday. Was asked for patience but the customer did not get any. 2- workers left gates open on 2 occasions and dogs were roaming free and could have been killed. One of the dogs was 6 months old and the other 14 years old. very dangerous, and when it happened the first time, they swore it would not happen again, 3- Expensive and no shows. !!! If the weather is 50 degrees and cloudy, they wont service the property, Their exact words "were its dangerous for the crew to work in cold damp conditions, we will try for another day" but that "other day" would not happen. The customer is asked to be patient, and wait till they can find a new crew to come out, but never did. The entire year was haphazard, and incredibly unpredictable. Please keep in mind, I paid them $7000. in 12 months for weekly maintenance and sprinkler service. DO NOT call on this company!!!

We can not service yards when it has rained, or is still wet, in order to avoid causing a bigger mess in a client's yard. We do our best to reschedule everyone, in a timely manner, on rainy days. You were always made aware of any schedule changes, via emails and text messages. We asked for patience from all of our clients, and we appreciated all the times that you were. You let us know that you understood the reasons on more than one occasion. We also made last minute concessions for you when you were having a party or needed the yard serviced on a day that was not scheduled, or changed our route to go out earlier on your scheduled day in order to accommodate. Our crews work on a tight schedule and issues sometimes arise and we make our best effort to accommodate everyone. I did apologize to you about the gate incidents (only twice) and we worked it out each time and moved forward. The only contact you made with our office directly was when you asked us to change your irrigation controller from the way we are mandated by the city to water your lawn during Stage 2 Drought Restrictions. When we explained why we could not do it, you yelled at our employees. We make every attempt to keep our clients happy, even when payments are late or not made in full. We are sorry you feel that you received poor service from our company and we wish you the best of luck finding another lawn maintenance company. Tri-county did my neighbors sprinkler system on October 7th 2022 and in the process hit my water main. No one knocked on my door to tell me of the incident or tried at all to inform me. They just shut off my water and dug in my yard and when I came outside to see what happened with my water, the workers acted as if nothing happened and continued to go about their business. Not one worker spoke English, but one worker did help me to talk to the project manager on the phone, Andrew Delgado. He came back over to the job site relatively quickly and seemed helpful AT THE TIME. That later changed. They began a temporary repair with a schedule 40 PVC connected with a shark bite on to the original copper line about 6 -7 feet from where they damaged the original copper line in two places. I was informed "They do this all the time." The connection was then routed up at an angle about 12 inches to the surface and run for several feet at the surface and then routed back down to meet the original copper line which buried is at 12 iches down at code depth. Their fix was not to code laying thee pipe at the surface. When I expressed my concerns about the line not being buried to depth of code 12 inches and possible freezing if we got a heavy freeze, I was told by Andrew Delgado that they would return to fix it the following Monday and this was temporary so I could have water. Andrew also promised insulation on pipe in case of a freeze. This was not done either. So it was left at the surface and covered with barely an inch of soil. I was also told all utilities where marked, yet they were not or they would have not hit my line. There were no flags marking utilities prior to work commencing. Their definition of establishing a property line was Andrew waving his arm inline with a fence 60 feet away that is INSIDE my property line. I also asked the workers multiple times using my translator on my phone not to bury the damaged pipe area so I could have a plumber look at it. The following Monday the inspector was to come sign off on their work at my neighbors. I waited all day because I wanted the inspector to see how the did their "repair". Unfortunately I missed him. The TriCounty workers also covered up the pipe that I made SURE was exposed, just before the inspector arrived somewhere between 2:45 and 3:45 pm. Now on to the solution....there was NONE. The excuses and the cover up of liability began. TRI-County (Jodi) stated they will not fix it back the way it was. They claim tree roots are in the way. They already cut through multiple roots and a huge eight inch root, so that excuse doesn't fly. They stated that a licensed plumber has to do the work, that the are not licensed to do that type of work, (Then why did the touch it in the first place and not call a plumber?) They claim my main line is on my neighbors property so its my problem, although they have no knowledge of the property line. Even if it was, YOUR COMPANY HIT IT AND DAMAGED IT AND IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBLITY TO MAKE IT RIGHT! If my car was on my neighbors property and you hit it, you are STILL responsible. I could go on and on with the excuses I got. I told Jodi with Tri-County I would just get a plumber and send them the bill. She denied any and all liability. I would never use this company after all the crap they have put me through. I'm having to pay out of my pocket for another survey, trenching and plumbing bids and plumbing to fix what TriCounty damaged. This is all kind of wrong. This is not my neighbors fault. It is TriCountys fault and their responsibility to repair back to the way it was.

They installed a irrigation system at my home in the Estates of Rockwell Ranch about three months ago. I did not receive a copy of the five year warranty after multiple requests. Recently I needed repairs and was told they would not be covered under warranty. I just spent over 600.00 on repairs. This company did not stand behind there work for me.

We understand that you're frustrated dealing with the unprecedented weather that we all recently endured. It's been nearly 70 YEARS since our area has dealt with over 106 HOURS of below-freezing temps. Many are now having to recover from the damage it caused. I would like to address your concerns that were brought up when you called to express your displeasure to our CSR. You mentioned that our team made the decision to install your backflow device aboveground. Since your property has a septic system, we are REQUIRED by TCEQ to install this type of device (RP Backflow). As a courtesy, we include an R-13 rated insulated pouch…again, as a courtesy. We install them per the manufacture’s recommendations. You mentioned that you had made many attempts to obtain a copy of the warranty for the installation. This was never brought to our attention by the landscaper, nor yourself, until after these recent repairs. Had we been aware, we would’ve happily made the info available to the landscaper and/or yourself. Our company was hired as a subcontractor by your landscape contractor. After the winter storm, your landscaper called us to obtain a quote for the repairs & mentioned that he was aware this repair would not be covered by the warranty. He was given an estimate & told us to schedule the work. We completed the repairs & the invoice was sent to the landscaper, since they directly scheduled the repair. Upon receiving the invoice, the contractor contacted us & informed us to send the invoice to you directly & included your contact info (we didn't have this info previously). Regardless, weather damage (AKA: Acts of God) is not covered by the warranty. We sympathize with everyone going through the frustration & financial burden of dealing with this “once-in-a-lifetime” weather event. We encourage our customers to contact their homeowner's insurance for information on coverable damages. We would've loved the opportunity to have discussed this matter with you, respectfully, before reaching this level of escalation.

We do apologize that we are unusually busy this year. We have received an extremely high request for estimates, installations and repairs this season. We aren't sure what has caused this change; possibly due to having many people working from home and having additional time to evaluate their landscapes at home? However, I wouldn't say that this makes us "difficult to try to do business with". We are trying our very best to keep up and make it a point to let everyone know how our schedule is looking before they call our office to schedule appointments. This information was also provided in my initial response to your request message.

The entire experience with Tri County was great. Workers were timely, polite and cleaned up very well when work was done. Our back yard system hadn’t worked for years and I originally felt that replacing it would be the best option. The owner, when out to give me the estimate, felt he could save the system and that it wasn’t worth replacing. In the end, they only had to fix a wiring problem and replace/move a few heads to get the old system working well. I felt comfortable with the entire experience. Work was just done so only time will tell on how well the system performs but things look good so far. I’d have no problem recommending them for work.

They arrived on time, understood the problem, located the leak, replaced the pipe - a 1.5” crack in the PVC pipe similar to a knife’s incision resulted in a severe leak. The gentlemen removed and replaced the pipe and confirmed after turning the sprinkler main back on no further leak remained, all in less than an hour on a cold January morning.

I had an issue with my sprinkler system where I kept getting a fault on the Master Valve. I have used Tri County Sprinklers for over 10 years now and I am glad I called them again. Andrew was the tech that came out to do the work. Master Valve can be a scary one because I have heard nightmares in the neighborhood of cost to replace. I watched Andrew troubleshoot my system and find that it was only a bad solenoid. After replacing the bad solenoid and a couple of test runs I was back to watering my yard again. He also found a couple of things that needed some attention and adjustment. Things that you or I wouldn't look for when the sprinkler system is running. Here is what I can tell you about the last 10 plus years of dealing with Tri County. I have never been overcharged, over sold, or felt scammed. They are always professional and punctual. If they are running late they give you a courtesy call. Scheduling and bill payment is a breeze as well. Their lead time is long, but so is everyone else in the sprinkler business in San Antonio. Do yourself a favor and don't ask the landscaper down the road if he can fix your system, or try to find someone to get there the following day. Tri County Sprinklers has to be busy for a reason right? Thanks again Andrew! Hope you are finding some shade out there in the heat.

Tri-County was extremely professional, timely, responsive, and overall very easy to work with. They installed a new sprinkler system in front and back yards, then waited until I had new flowers planted in 3 flower beds to return and install the drip irrigation. They were very accommodative of working with me on the timing and made sure that the project turned out great! I even reduced the size of a couple flower beds after the sprinkler system was installed but before the drip irrigation was installed, and they moved the sprinkler heads to make sure the new sod I have to lay will have adequate water coverage. Overall, I highly recommend Tri-County!
