**My 1st choice for exceptional service** I selected a different company to do my HVAC spring tube up this year than I did in the past. It felt like they were rushing to get on to the next sale. Texas Techs Heating and Air did not disappoint! Alfredo, the tech that arrived, was here over 2 hours for a preventative maintenance check. My previous company was less than a hour. He was extremely thorough in the process. I'm a hover owner...wanting to see and understand the process. What I thought was a quality service call in the past was truly the bare minimum to get my money and move on. Alfredo took the time to answer my questions, provided images of my system before and after, actually cleaned my system inside and out (REALLY CLEANED IT) and even patched the hole he made in my system. (Which they should be doing and other techs didn't) I was amazed at how clean he got my blower assembly. 😲 I cannot express how happy I am to of truly found a reliable company who says they will be where they are suppose to be, do beyond the basics and at an amazing price too! Texas Techs has truly earned a customer for life. It's VITAL to use a company that is licensed and insured for sure. Service provided with 48 hours. I'm recommending them to everyone!!!

The original technician was very professional and informative. the technicians that showed up to do the install were also very professional.

completely replaced both AC units inside and outside with their recomended top of the line unit. The units could not cool our home cooler than 79 degrees during the heat of the day. They had hooked up several things wrong, and in one case wired the thermostate up backwards. Had to threatten to take to court, and ended up having my credit card company refuse payment. They finally came and picked up their unit and I went with another dealer and my home now stays a cool 72 during the summer!

They sent a young man. We told him upfront that we wanted only a Trane unit. He said he understood it completely and he said it would be done that way a number of times before we singed the contract with him. We signed on the doted lines. They came out about a week later to do the work. We did not double check the work. Finally when my husband checked it they had put in the unit that usually is put in a mobile home. My husband told the gentleman that he wanted a Trane unit and he had put in a different kind of unit there. I walked in the study the next day they had put the unit in a crooked fashion and my ceiling had a big water mark and it was dripping down the light fixture onto the new carpet. We went ballistic and we called them and they called us a liar. They informed that they would patch the ceiling but we said we would repair it ourselves. They were hateful from then on. The owner?s son was screaming at my husband over the phone. We called Mr. Erwin, the city inspector and he said there was no question about the fact that Texas heating guys had messed up. He said their work was so bad and they were grandfathered out. He came down with an S card and he took back their green card. The state of Texas told Mr. Erwin that they were no longer grandfathered out and they had to do the work over. But we told Mr. Erwin we didn?t want them in our house as they had screamed at my husband and me. We ended up filing a law suit against them to get their license pulled. They have been on TV about how shoddy their work was and their lies and telling other people of providing a trained unit and later not providing it to them. Mr. Erwin filmed everything they did in our house so he could train his men on what not to do. They did not refund even a penny of what we paid to them. They were rude. I tell everybody I meet not to use them.

I think they were really good. They fixed my air conditioner with ease. They really knew what they were doing and the air conditioner works great. Whenever I have a problem with my air conditioning unit, I always call them because I know they will get the job done right.

We told them we wanted a Trane, but we got an off-brand Goodman (which we did NOT want). The installation in the Attic was done improperly so it ruined the ceiling just below the attic with moisture from condensation. Also, there was a gap between the furnace and the duct work where air was escaping. The new insulation was ruined as well. They put insulation inside the heating unit, which was bad (we thought it was on fire once and had to call the fire department). We store boxes in the attic and they moved them all around and even broke a few items. They knocked one box so that it damaged the ceiling of the hallway by popping a recessed light out. They moved some of the boxes so that they were right next to the furnace (then they told us that we had a fire hazard in our attic). They told us we needed larger copper tubing and installed new tubing that was the same size (they apparently were lying to us). Totally unprofessional, untrustworthy, and not reliable at all.

Tech advised that the issue was with an electrical problem not with the A/C. We then called an electrician to replace the fuse. Within a week the A/C went out again. Called another company who came out and advised the condensor fan bearing on A/C unit was begining to fail and the motor was exceeding the amps and was overheating. The Texas Heating and Air Conditioning tech should have caught the problem when looking at the rated amps (shown on the A/C unit) and the amps the system was actually running on. The tech for the subsequent company we called showed me the rated amps listed on the system and then showed me the ams the motor was actually running on.

The rep was friendly and the techs were efficient and gave good tips on maintenance. They made sure that we understood everything. Except for having to pay for it, it was a great experience- fast and professional!

The technician was on time and quickly repaired the problem. I believe I was grossly overcharged for the installation of a $5.00 part. I also believe this company is seriously lacking in customer service skills.

Initial contact and response very good, repairman came out late at beginning of holiday weekend. Replaced thermostat and reported that vent system needed cleaning which was what caused thermostat to burn out (house only 3 months old). Dryer worked initially but stopped heating with 1st load. Called and received good response, part would be ordered and would be in in 3-5 days. Called after approx 7 days, informed that technician no longer worked for company and no record of part found. Another technician sent a few days later and diagnosed different problem, ordered part, returned 2-3 days later, installed part and charged an additional $45. Dryer working well.
