Juan fixed our very old washer when a switch broke and we are so happy with how fast the service went and how honest Juan was!

I would highly not recommend Juan walker he charged 725$ just for a new compressor we had to call several times to this man the problem would get worse and worse we also had to file complaint with Angie’s list for a refund Juan only gave back 400$ outta 725$ and he was very upset when we called customer solutions and he came the next day and drained out all our freeon And only gave a Portion of our cash back , please do not hire this man it’s problem after problem with him.

I paid him $1000 for the compressor and installation and it took 3 days for the compressor to come. He couldn't install it properly and the compressor is vibrating. Now, after 4 months, the compressor run out again but it should be brand new not second hand. I tried calling him but he never returned any of my phone calls. I just want my money back and I would provide an inventory of food spoilage for reimbursement.

We CANNOT recommend calling this company for your appliance repair. We had a under warranty Frigidaire dishwasher that needed repair and tried to get them to come out to our home for four times within a month and all four appointments were NCNS. We finally had to call Frigidaire to complain about this service contractor so they finally sent one of their own company repairman to fix our dishwasher. Texas Appliance Repair ranks right up there with your local cable company that never shows up when their supposed to. There’s no excuse for horrible customer service in this day and age!

Save your money. Please dont call this business. On January 11, 2021 Texas Appliance Repairman Juan Walker charged me $40 dollars to check my stove. He said call him when I had electricity. But I did have electricity. I called him to come back. On January 18 he needed a part but the warehouse doesn't have it, and he will call me when it comes in. On January 29, I called again, he said he was in the hospital but he was out and he really wanted to fix my stove. He said his blood pressure was too high and he was better now. We scheduled for January 31st and he did not come. When I checked with him he asked if he reschedule for Tuesday February 3rd... he stood me up. No call, no explanation, no nothing. This is very unprofessional. I don't recommend this business to anyone. Save your money for the real deal repairman. To recap, I scheduled several times with Juan and he stood me up again tonight. I'm very disappointed.

Refrigerator repair

Juan had been schedule to come at 5:30 pm on the day that we called. He called back to ask if he could reschedule earlier in the day - good news. He arrived at the new time (wearing a face mask as we required), quickly disassembled the ice maker, thought that he'd have to order a part, but found a way to quickly repair the existing device. Two hours after he left, he called to check on whether or not it was producing ice (it was!!). Nice guy, very capable and great follow-up. I'd certainly use Juan and Texas Appliance Repair in the future, if needed.

Experience was good

The company responded to my service request within 5 minutes of me placing it. He assured me he could get it fixed; I was nervous because it was right before Christmas and I needed to cook Christmas dinner. He arrived in a timely manner. He kept me informed throughout the whole process. He fixed it very well and for a fair price. I would definitely hire this company again.

After calling another company that was highly rated on Angie’s List, I received a text from Juan with Texas Appliance Repair advising I could call him for immediate service. The other company could not provide service as quickly as we needed, so I called Juan. He answered and stated he would be out in a couple of hours. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem (a valve was leaking water) and ordered the part. I had to be a little proactive in contacting him today to make sure the part had come in and that he was going to truly be out today to complete the repairs. Work was completed and washer is working fine! I would use Juan again, if needed.

Juan was very prompt having contacted me right away. He came over on a Saturday in about an hour and immediately found the problem. Showed me what was wrong (blower fan was not operating in freezer compartment) and said he'd have to go get a part which he did. He installed in short order and the refrigerator is working great! Gave me sound advice about keeping the appliance thus saving me lots of money in purchasing anything new. I was very pleased with the service, his professionalism and quality of work. I will definitely use him again for any other appliance that may need fixing and recommend him to friends and family. Thank you Angie's List!

Juan was very user friendly and very competent and professional. He repaired dryer in less than an hour and was very honest and reasonable for what he charged me. I will definitely use again.

He called less than 30 seconds after I put in my request, no one else has even bothered. He came out at 6pm on a Saturday night to help me. He unfrosted my freezer, there was a part broken so he did a quick fix, ordered it for me and came back Monday to install it. Small local business, he hustles hard, and does really good work. Great guy, I’d recommend him to everyone.

Juan Walker was here for less than 10 minutes and found the problem and fixed it immediately. Was very impressed! Juan contacted me within 5 minutes of requesting help on Angie's List and was able to come out within the hour for only a $40 service charge. Minimal charge for the repair. I will definitely hire him again and highly recommend.
