Tasco Air Conditioning

We got our coupon for this excellent service off of Angie's List last week and used it. I called Tasco as soon as I had gotten the email reply from them and Sabrina set up my appointment for the next week (this one). Laine was going to be here between 9 and 12 and Sabrina called at 10:30 to tell me he was on his way. He got here and got to work and had looked over, cleaned, and was finished in no time. What a terrific family owned company! I will use them from now on.

Badly not someone I would recommend.

They were out the same day and they were neat and efficient. They told me about one thing that would make my air conditioner more efficient and what it would cost if I wanted to do it, but he didn't push for it.

Jerry was extremely courteous, thorough, and helpful. We will definitely use TASCO again.

This is the second time I have had these guys come out. Used them the first time last fall for furnace startup on a $55 special found through Angies List. Decided to call them back this time because they were very professional last fall. These guys are more thorough than any other AC company I have used over the last 15 years here in San Antonio. Findings and issues are fully explained and documented and I chose to purchase the Start Kit and Capacitor based on their assessment of my system and my knowledge of past history with my unit. In other words - their recommended services today were in line with what I knew about my system and were not just 'come-ons' to get me to buy something additional. Laine and Jerry are smart guys and clearly outlined all my options. It took a little longer for them to come from the time I called and made my appointment than some other providers I have used, but this is Texas and the weather was warming up quickly so I accepted the longer lead time assuming they were getting busy. They called within about 40 minutes of their actual show-time and their arrival was halfway within the original window of when they said they would be here, so no complaints there. I purchased an Annual Maint Plan at this time (included in the dollar amount shown for cost of service). It is about $20 higher than what I was paying my previous provider that I have used for a decade, (who was not listed in Angies List, by the way) but these guys are more thorough and professional - so I switched to them. The 'B' ranking for price is only because I had no other price to compare against for the components and install. The price, while not cheap, was acceptable and I did not feel it was excessive. No complaint there either. Our service relationship is off to a good start. Great guys! Recommended!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a superb job. They should be called Dr. Tasco because they gave me a diagnostic and assessed it to make sure it was functioning properly. They made recommendations to maintain the system and make sure it functions well. They were very professional and cordial. I didn't spend any additional. They made some excellent recommendations. I would absolutely use them again.

It was okay. They were good. They were responsive. So far, so good. I would probably use them again in the future.

They were punctual and professional. They made sure to clean up after themselves and answered all of my questions. I have since set up regularly schedule AC and furnace check ups for this spring and next fall.

He was a nice guy. He was pleasant but he did track in dirt and mud and I had to clean up after he left. I didn't feel like he had done what I thought he was going to do.

Terry arrived promptly, cleaned the furnace unit, and identified the part that was causing the pilot light to keep going out. He showed me that it was worn, and recommended replacing it. (It is an old unit.) He was very knowledgable, and explained what he was doing and gave his opinion. Also made sure new thermostat was working properly. Would hire again.

Extremely well found dead birds in my chimney yuck. I?m glad I called them very helpful in showing me how the system worked ? I?m pretty much a newbie when it comes to fireplaces but Robert and his partner just simple went old school customer service

Due to the uneven flow of air in our home, Mr Laine recommended the above work done. He came over and explained with details the work that needed to be done and also explain to us the CPL rebates for this kind of work. Josh and Jerry did the work, very responsible, polite and reliable workers. They work hard for various days and got the job done on a timely manner. Tasco scheduled the inspection visit to get the rebate and complete all the paperwork. We are so satisfied with their work and results, the heat is distributed evenly and is very comfortable. We highly recommend Tasco for any heating and cooling services. They are excellent.

They were good. I like them. They came out and they broke my air conditioner but they came out the next day to fix it. It was an honest mistake. It was fine.

Everything went well. They were there on time and they did the job. They told me what needed to be fixed and they left. It was pretty good. It was what I expected.

They reset the breaker and minutes later were checking the heating unit inside when it tripped again. They changed out the breaker with the correct size which resolved the problem. Both technicians were very knowledgeable and professional in explaining the work that they did. We highly recommend their services to anyone needing AC/Heating repairs.

They were fine. The cleaned up after themselves and they were on time.

I bought the Angie's list Big Deal coupon for furnace service from TASCO. They contacted me promptly and came out when they said they would. They did a cursory inspection of my furnace, but said the coupon was for a combined central heat and AC service, not for a furnace like mine. They said they would refund me the $55 since they did not do anything to my furnace other than take a quick look at it. I ended up oiling the bearings for the blower motor myself. If the deal was for central AC/heat only it should have been advertised that way.

All went very well. Tasco provided a great tune up of the heating and AC system and recommended ways to make the system run more efficiently. System working great.

Technician (Laine) was as friendly as they come. He installed the motor and checked the upstairs unit and made several recommendations that should make the unit work better and last longer. Will use again.

These guys are very professional. The technician Jerry (who is a retired Marine and very fine young man), did a thorough inspection of my duct system and found a number of problems that could not be seen since they were on the back side of the plenum etc. He took digital photos and showed me the problems. We had ducts that had come completely loose, others with holes from a new equipment installation that I did not know about. We have a large home with two systems. They checked all of my registers and totally replaced and resealed all the upstairs units. Provided all new grills and also some downstairs. It was an all day job and they brought a whole team of people. I signed up for a yearly maintenance contract and Laine was out here today for the first checkup. I could not be more pleased or give a higher recommendation. I was personally an operations manager for a plumbing company many years ago and have sold services to banking for many years and understand service. I don't think you can go wrong here, they price fairly and give you good value for what you pay. Most of all they are honest.

It went very well, they met all our expectations, excellent service.

We have a home in Midland and one in Boerne, Texas and I used them down at the Boerne house and I was very pleased with them. They came out and evaluated, did what they said they would do, and they were dependable. I had postponed a little bit because I had some other jobs popped up but they did what they said they'd do and I was pleased with their work.

Installed new a Trane HVAC system. They did a great job. I'm pleased with the system and service provided.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and he seemed disinterested and overpriced. I hired him for 2 different job. The first one was 55 Dollars, and the second one was for a part to be replaced, and it was way overpriced. He charged us 40 Dollars for the part, and then he took 10 minutes replacing it, and then charged us 150 Dollars for it. They did a good job on the big deal job. He hung up on me when I called to ask him a question. We ended up finding someone else, and I would not use him again in the future.

Josh and Dan were surprised at the age of my home furnace, over 30 years old but pulled the burners out, checked for cracks and corrosion. They made sure that there were no leaks and cleaned the burners. They briefed me on the age and what to look for for safety reasons. I was very pleased that they were able to work with me and my old furnace. I will call them again for my next cleaning.
