Great - the guys were very polite, they cleaned up their mess (we had a bad storm several weeks later and I found 3 nails - that was it; I can't say that has happened on other roof jobs that I have been involved with) and they completede the job promptly

Called Alfred and he came the same day. He not only solved my roof leak, but tightened storm covers and sealed all vent pipes.

I feel that our insurance company would never have approved our claim if Alfred had not guided us through the process. I didn't know a roof replacement could be this easy and efficient.

While working on something else on the roof, I thought I might have accidently damaged the seal around a plumbing vent. I wanted to have someone knowledgeable check it out. They responded to my voice mail message within 30 minutes, and had someone there an hour later. He had the right parts on the truck, and it was fixed in 15 minutes. Can't get much better than that.

Alfred came out to my home on time to examine the area. He could not determine the exact nature of the leaking problem on his first visit due to my 30 foot high roof (very steep back yard). He came out the next day with another man and a long ladder and briefly reproduced the leak with a water hose. From start to finish Alfred worked on it for about 2 hours and determined that my leak was only going to be a problem in heavy rain with high winds. I had him install flashing to prevent that from happening. He also noticed minor flaws with my shingles in this area due to improper installation and repaired those as well. Alfred was courteous and respectful the entire time (he wore shoe booties when entering my home, always knocked, and was very professional).

Provided a detailed explanation of roofing options, estimate, duration of project and logistics (Alfred emphasized the importance of securing our HOA's approval prior to scheduling the project). Alfred and his crew are very skilled and professional. The project was scheduled for 2 1/2 days, but when the two-day forecast called for rain he brought on an extra crew to finish the project in two days. Very impressed with the work, the thorough clean-up after each day's work. Alfred listened and addressed my specific request to build-out an exhaust vent for my water heater (my plumber will complete in accordance with code). Overall was very pleased with the work and the price. My only recommendation would be that the workers seek the input of the homeowner and adjoining neighbors on the volume of the radio they listened to as they worked. Otherwise, this was an outstanding experience.

Alfred answered the phone on a weekend. He came out on the day we requested, and he called to let me know that he would be 10 minutes late! He checked my entire roof, and informed me that the leak was related to the chimney, not the roof. He was extremely professional and shared a lot of helpful information, even after he determined that I didn't need a roof repair. I would definitely recommend him again, as he is very trustworthy. It would have been easy for him to recommend an unecessary roof repair, and we wouldn't have known the difference. Instead he simply gave us the free inspection as promised. Excellent service.

Mr. Trevino dealt with me very professionally and politely. The roofing job was excellent. They replaced some of the fascia boards and showed me their "trick" to get the boards to stay butted together, a technique that I was not familiar with.

I had called a company that does all types of home repairs when I noticed some roof tiles blown off. They went on the roof and said it needed to be replaced since most tiles were loose. They qouted $5,000.00 with all materials and $3,500.00 for labor only. I called Storm Roofing and after the same type of inspection they said no new roof was needed; just replace some tiles, fix some other areas and seal all pipes and vents. And for $225.00!! Defintely would use them again.

If I could rake the company better than an "A" I would. The whole experience went incredibly smoothly.

The owner is a pretty phenomenal person. He is very responsive too. If you call and leave a message on the voice mail, he will call you back in less than 30 minutes. He is really helpful as far as giving advice goes and knowledgeable about the roofing business. He also came out on the same day as the insurance adjuster so that he could walk the roof with the insurance adjuster to make sure that the insurance adjuster saw what he had seen on the roof. The reason I had asked him to come out was because I wanted to get bids to contest my property tax, and at the same time, since my roof was over 30 years old, I was thinking of having it replaced. He told us that since we had had a lot of hail down on our roof, the insurance company should have our roof replaced. He said that it should be considered a total loss because of the extensive hail damage. Ultimately, that is what they decided, that it was a total loss.

Alfred came out twice to give me an estimate to match our existing roof. He came out the second time to be sure carpentry work had been done well before he submitted a bid for the job. Started work within two days, as promised. Finished work two days later, as promised. His roofers worked 12 hours the first day to complete the job on time.

Alfred is a very hands-on owner, who met with me several times during the process. He inspected my old roof, gave me a detailed report, and we scheduled the replacement. His crew was very focused, and cleaned up very well after each day. The roof looks great, and everything was handled well.

they did a very good job, very professional. it only took a day and a half. crew worked a very long day because rain was in the forecast (their idea). they cleaned up after themselves pretty well. alfred was very knowledgeable, and was able to make recommendations to correct problem areas-such as a malfunctioning attic fan and correcting poorly installed chimney flashing.

The whole experience was great. Alfred and his crew were extremely professional and fair and do excellent work. I couldn't believe how quickly my calls were returned and how easy Alfred made the whole experience. I have recommended Storm to several friends already and will continue to do so. After the job was complete, the crew did a fantastic job of cleaning up, sweeping our yard several times with a magent to make sure there was nothing left. They took extra care because we have a dog and small children.

Mr Trevino came over and gave me an estimate and after receiving all of the estimates I choose his company. He was one of the few o get on my steep roof, showed all the products and explained in detail the job to be performed. Due to weather they were delayed by about a week. Mr Trvino arrived on the first day to make sure all was going well and the work began on time. His foreman was on site all the time and kept the crew working. Two days and two extra hours of pounding I have a new roof. the cre worked about 12 hours each day and made sure to clean up the site everyday before leaving. Mr. trevino came over a few days after the work was completed and checked if we were satisfied, provided a warranty card which he review with us and reminded us that the shingles were not set yet and would take about a week. He also warned us that that a little of the "extra" covering the factory puts on would come off during the first good rain we received.

The crew of Storm Roofing certainly reflect the professionalism their boss/owner has "in spades". Alfred Storm was the third bid I received (the 1st from Angies List) and I could tell from the beginning he was more knowledgable and familiar with my type of very steep roof and what different city codes applied to this specific job. Every aspect of the job was discussed, including price, execution, clean-up, payment, warranty, and potential problems (once the shingles were removed). When this did happen, I felt his price was very fair and the repair, well-done. Alfred's staff was friendly, they cleaned up nails, shingles, etc. constantly on the job. They were on time, they worked til dark and very respectful of my two dogs in the backyard. One afternoon, Alfred was driving in the neighborhood to the job and spotted my blind, deaf dog meandering down the middle of the street (he had slipped out the front door without our knowledge). Alfred thought he recognized our "Hootie" and enticed him into his car with Girl Scout cookies and brought him home to us. Anyway, I would recommend Strom Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof or one that needs repair. His professionalism and workmanship passes any other Contractor I have ever dealt with. I contacted Alfred Trevino of Storm Roofing based on his reputation with Angie's List subscribers. He timely returned my call. I wanted at least one shingle repaired and an inspection, and an assessment of the life remaining on a 13 year old roof. I was pleased to learn my roof has a few years to go. Alfred Trevino personally inspected the roof and took digital photos of some additional cracked shingles. He recommended the vent nails be sealed per current code and to prevent problems. Trevino and a roofer made the repairs a few days later. Only delay was due to weather. Storm Roofing will be on my list come time for a new roof.

I called and made appointment with the owner, Mr. Alfred Trevino, for the next day. He showed up on time and after inspecting my vent less attic he made his recommendations and gave written proposal. We agreed on the price and his crew was on the job the following morning. We just purchased the house and have not moved in so they started at 7 AM. When I went to inspect the job about 3 PM they had finished and gone. The next day, Saturday, Mr. Trevino called. He said he was at the house to wash the sawdust off the roof. He asked if I was satisfied and I told him that the job looked good but if I were there when they put the dome louvers I would have put them in a different area. He said he would meet me at the house later that day with his crew and they would change them to make sure I was satisfied. I met them there, he moved the louvers and repaired the roof. He had shingles that matched. Everything great, no hassle and he did it with a smile all for the price quoted.

I would recommend them to anyone. I was extremely pleased with the work they did. The gentlemen that came out were polite and respectful. Very good experience.
