Storm Roofing

The work was started and completed in the time frame that was promised. The work was excellent. The crew kept the yard clean and did final cleanup at the end of each day. Al with Storm helped me with the shingle color selection, which turned out great and he had some minor faults corrected upon final inspection. Storm's price was competitive and the materials used were good quality. I highly recommend them for any roofing project.

I called Storm Roofing on 9/13 to set up an appointment for an estimate on my roof repairs. Albert was on time for the appointment and provided a detailed estimate. We discussed when his crew would be able to do the job. Albert said that he would call the next day with a date and time. I did not hear from him and did need to call him the following Monday. He said that he and his crew could do the work on Wednesday. I work overnight and sleep as soon as I get off work. I advised Albert of this and he said that his crew would try to keep the noise to a minimum. They did because I slept through the thing. The crew had completed the job and left before I woke up. I checked the roof and all the vent pipes had been replaced and painted and the siding around the chimney looked great. The paint on the siding was an exact match to my house paint. I called Albert in the afternoon to discuss how he would get paid. He said to just put the check in the mail and trusted me to do this...I was very satisfied with the work.

I called for an estimate and Al showed up the same day only a couple hours after the initial phone call. We set up a date and time for the roof repair. I was unable to be home for the repair, however, Al completed the repair anyway and left a message on my phone explaining what had been done and where to send the payment. Al was very cordial and thorough with the inspection for the estimate as well as the repair. I no longer hear the shingles smacking against the roof during storms.

My experience with them was good. They provided a bid, which I accepted. I think they did the work quickly and efficiently, and I would recommend them to others.

Alfred was punctual, efficient and professional. The work included one year warrany on all workmanship. We will definitely call Storm Roofing for any roofing issues we have in the future.

Alfred is an excellent communicator and professional. Of the three contractors I requested estimates from, he was by far the best. I was kept in the know throughout the whole process. He sent a complete and detailed itemized bid and took his time explaining what needed to be fixed versus what didn't. He even found an area of rotting decking that neither of the previous contractors had found and showed it to me. Even though his price was a little higher than other estimates (other estimates didn't include the rotting decking that he had found, however), I went with him and don't regret it. He started the work within a week, and completed it in a day and a half. Thanks for your work, Alfred!

I needed to repair the roof of my house and contacted Storm Roofing based on Angie's List reports. We contacted them and Alfred Trevino came by my house. After a detailed inspection, he prepared a Free estimate on the repairs needed. We decided to go with Storm Roofing because of Alfred's professionalism throughout the entire process. He and his team have done a terrific job on the repairs and I will recommend them to anyone needing any kind of roof repairs.

I was very pleased with the work that was done by Storm Roofing. Alfred Trevino came to look at a skylight that was cracked/leaking, and I asked him to also assess the condition of my roof. He took a great deal of time explaining the options to me and explaining how the skylight replacement would work. He submitted separate estimates for the skylight replacement, which I had to have done right away, and the entire roof. I opted for the full roof /skylight replacement. I asked about shingle upgrades, and Alfred took time to explain that as well. He took great care to explain their procedures and prepare me for the noise and inconvenience that are inevitable for a couple of days. He and his crew were prompt, professional, and hard working. Everything went exactly as he said it would. The new roof looks wonderful, and I am delighted with the results. I would definitely recommend this firm to others.

Storm was extremely responsive. Someone came to our house the same day we called to provide an estimate. Storm was not the lowest priced bid, but it was the most comprehensive. Storm workers came promptly once we let them know they had the job. They did an excellent job and cleaned up all materials from the job. I would definitely use Storm again..

Storm was slightly higher than the 2nd bidder but what sold me was Alfred's straight talk about options (eg. ridge vents vs turbines, 30 year vs 40 year shingles) and his expeience with installing radiant barrier correctly. Some minor unforseen issues were uncovered, but Alfred did not charge extra. Work was well supervised and progressed efficiently over 2 days. Day 3 was for minor final work and thourough cleanup. Roof was left protected on day 1 and area swept for nails each day. Alfred was very responsive to my phone calls and his crew well supervised on site. I believe that a roofing replacement is best done by a competent, licensed professional specializing in roofing. I highly recommend you at least get a bid from Alfred @ Storm Roofing if you are considering replacement.

This company responded quickly to my initial inquiry, coming to my home in a timely manner, taking measurements and writing out the estimate giving me plenty of time for questions during this process. This company continued to be very responsive to any calls and concerns that I had. They performed the work in a punctual and professional manner. Payment was not requested until the work was completed. For a minor problem I noted a few days after payment (water heater venting displaced), they continued to respond rapidly with professionalism and courtesy. After the job was completed the area was thoroughly cleaned; it was the best clean-up I have ever experienced. I would use this company again and would not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

Mr. Trevino arrived promptly and did an inspection of my home, garage and tool shed roofs. He was very clear about reporting what needed to be done. He gave me a fair price. He came out the following week with his foreman and completed the work. They cleaned up the area to my satisfaction. Everyone was very professional and I am very pleased with the work performed. I would gladly refer them to other customers.

My roof was damaged during the hurricane, and my insurance paid for it, I just paid the deductible. They are excellent. They had excellent workers who finished on time.

Found Storm Roofing on Anglies List .... what a great service Angie! Alfred Trevino came out personally to look at the job. We have a two story custom built home and the roof is too tall for an old codger, like me, to risk life and limb. Alfred was extremely pleasant, professional and friendly. Felt comfortable almost immediately. When our house was built, the builder failed to install a vent in one of the roof sections that covers a walkin storage area. When it failed inspection, they went and purchased a turtle back vent to accommodate the inspector. The attic area has always been hot because there's not enough air movement. So, while I had Alfred at my disposal, we discussed a solution that would involve installing a solar powered vent with a fan to exhaust the hot air. Alfred showed up with one of his helpers to repair the roof and install the new vent w/fan. George, his helper, had been with him a long time and this guy could walk a roof like there was nothing to it. In addition to repairing the roof, they also fixed any and all nail pops on the roof and sealed them properly (no extra charge). If I ever need any other roofing or repair work done, Alfred will be my first call. By the way, the fan/vent works like a charm and since this area is also over my garage, it has reduced the heat there as well. Many thanks, Alfred, and wish you many more years of continued success!

Very quick response and work completion.

I had what I had thought was minor roof damage that turned into needing a new roof. We got three estimates. Alfred from Storm Roofing did the best job. He estimate was based upon cost plus and he didn't over sell anything. When we decided to go with a better shingle, he came out the next day to drop off samples. The work work started within a couple of days of when we approved the estimate and choose the colors. The crew worked from 7:30AM-7:00PM. The work was done in 2 1/2 days. Part of the initial estimate was to replace some rotting wood on our chimney. When they took it off, there was some rotting 2x6's as well. Alfred phoned me to discuss doing the extra work. With the pictures that he texted me, I felt comfortable that the work was justified. I appreciate his him and his crew taking the extra trouble to make sure that the job was done right.

Alfred Trevino, owner, was very professional, prompt and did a quality job. We had a leak in our downstairs master bath's ceiling, and we discovered one of the vent pipes was leaking during a heavy rain. Alfred checked all of the pipes on our 17 year old roof and suggested we replace the rubber seals with lead boots that fit over the vent pipe. He was very comparable in price. He arrived early on he designated day and kept communications clear up to the time he arrived on his scheduled day. The work was done promptly. While Mr. Trevino was giving us an initial quote, he discovered that we had carpenter ants in our fireplace. He took pictures for us and also showed us another hole that a squirrel or racoon had chewed through on the fireplace. We would never have known about this problem. Subsequently, we were able to take care of the pest issue and make plans to repair the fireplace. We would definitely consider seriously having Storm Roofing replacing our whole roof when it is time.

Went fine. Depending on the job, might ask for an estimate from this company again due to overall positive ratings on the list.

I have already had a second opinion because I never got a call back from Storm Roofing. I would never use or recommend them.

This was the first time I have used someone from Angie's List, and I am thrilled at the outcome. We had some wind damage a few weeks ago, but we were out of town so we couldn't take care of it right away. I called Alfred from Storm Roofing yesterday, and he came out this morning to give me an estimate. He took pictures from my roof so he could show me what he was talking about, which was really nice. We also discussed the differences between his estimate and the insurance adjuster's (Alfred's was lower). I asked when the work could be done, and voiced concern over the storms coming in from the Gulf. He said he could come back in an hour with the supplies and get it done. Alfred returned as promised and brought a crew with him. They finished the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Overall, a very professional company with excellent customer service that I would highly recommend.

I noticed several missing shingles from our roof over the week-end. I called Wednesday. He came Thursday at the time he said he would. I approved quote and work on the spot. Price was very reasonable. Did a great job and cleaned up. Did not try to talk me into work that was not needed. Quote and work performed were all in writing. Alfred was courteous and professional. I would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

Great experience - Alfred and team were out one day after the call, which matched what they said on the phone. Quick work; very reasonable price. Also used Storm Roofing to correct leak that had been present for several years over back porch. Came out and assessed; discussed issue and cost with me before any work began; problem was different then we thought, but what they replaced has worked flawlessly. Very, very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
