Horrible customer service. Promises the world during the initial consult then after they have the deposit they start saying that wasn't included. For example. We had a $50,000 bathroom remodel done and it took about a year and a half to finally get a working bathroom and the craftsmanship is horrible. They told us that painting the bathroom wasn't included, After they told us how much paint and which type to buy. They are one of the worst companies I have ever seen on communication. We would wait a month with no word and would find out that something wasn't available and we would need to pick another option only we would reach out for an update. I would not recommend this company to anyone and the fact that Home Depot let's them in their stores is concerning. If I was Home Depot I would distance myself as much as possible from this company. I have a 3 page detailed timeline but it is too long to post on google.

Statewide Remodeling was the fourth company to come out to our home to estimate the cost of replacing our windows. This was the most passive-aggressive hard sell tactic I've ever seen. Carl, the veteran, and Rob, the new guy, arrived a little early and had already taken the time to photograph the front of our home as darkness was already descending. They complemented us on our home and had no sooner sat down than Carl said, with such a nice home, we should be prepared to spend $2500 per window. I said I might be prepared to spend $1000 per window. He then when into a scripted spiel about what we wanted to get out of our new windows. He gave an example of the quality of his Sunrise Restoration widows by saying that most manufacturers used aluminum spacers between the glass panes and asked "...and you know how aluminum transfers heat." He went on to state that his windows used stainless steel and related a story of a surgeon telling him that surgical stainless steel instruments were vital in surgery because if a surgical instrument ever got hot, it could fatally injure a patient--implying that stainless steel doesn't get hot... I stopped him there and assured him that if he held one end of a stainless steel instrument and I heated the other end, he would surely find that it was an excellent conductor of heat. Carl said that he was only repeating what a surgeon had told him and that now his own credibility was shot. I did not argue that point with him. After some more talk, he invited us to listen to his two-hour presentation. I explained, again, that he was our fourth salesman and although we wanted to hear how his Sunrise windows were different than his competition, we didn't need to see the whole heat lamp transference demonstration and other lengthy "educational" portions of the presentation. He said he understood, but his two-hour presentation could not be compressed. He told a couple of more stories about how previous customers had been set to buy a competitor's windows and as a direct result of his two-hour spiel, he got the sale. Because I actually wanted to hear about the window's qualities, I said we would listen to the presentation but I reserved the right to call for a "fast-forward" through portions I had heard before or was not interested in. He stated he could come back another night when we had more time to hear his entire presentation and that perhaps the weekend would be better for us! I again stated that I was interested in what made his windows different and he again stated it would take the entire two hours. He said that is how it works, folks. Deadlocked, we had no option but to wish each other goodnight. Since flexibility and adaptability to the customer's wishes don't seem to be features this company possesses, they lost a potential sale. Be careful if you do business with a company who's customer service motto is obviously "Our way or no way."
