The company has been very professional. they even came out and gave us a quote on this job. they have also contacted me every so often since then to see if my deck is ready to be stained. unfortunately, I will not have the deck ready to be stained until after the coupon expiration date, so I will not be able to use this coupon/company. but they have been very professional, nice and attentive from the beginning. I would highly recommend them.

They gave us an estimate and told us they could not do the work for the price of the deal.

It was average and it was a little expensive. It wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. It wasn't as smooth. What he showed me as an example was smooth and glossy and when he put it down, it was kind of rough. He said for another $200, he would put a coat of sealant or something. To do it again, I would not have done it. The one who did the work was a nice guy, but he was more of a salesman. But, he was professional.

Put a paint stain on patio. Did a poor job-everything that touches it chips off the paint. I was led to believe the "stain" would penetrate enough that this would not be a concern! |Attitude of owner was terrible. Didn't even want him back on my property as the owner upon receiving the done payment was very difficult to deal with ..it went downhill from there. The man (employee) that performed the service seemed nice and I tried to call him to discuss what could be done to fix the problem but he never returned my calls. Avoid this company at all costs. Yes their price was reasonable but heed the old adage "you get what you pay for"!! Almost gave up my Angie's list membership because this company had some favorable reviews hence I wondered about the legitimacy of their referrals.

We changed our minds after getting a phone estimate.

My experience went very well. The work was not exactly what I wanted, it came out with too much gold. They came back out to use a dye so I could see the product better. I was able to pick the one I wanted and I am satisfied with the finished product. There was one guy that provided the estimate and another technician that did the work. They arrived on time for both appointments and they were nice young men to work with.

They did an OK job, higher priced that I would expect. The final product was good but not great. Several clumps of paint, flecks on the floor.

My experience with them was horrible. I'm not going to be using them. He doesn't want to come and give a quote in person, he doesn't want to see you. He apparently has a business in San Antonio and he isn't actually in the Austin area that much. The deal I purchased, he doesn't honor. It was going to be a little over $2000 more than likely but he didn't even give me an actual quote. I figured there would be a little bit extra for what I wanted done but with that $39, you get nothing. He didn't want to honor the Angie's list deal, in fact, he pretty much implied he didn't know anything about it. He was professional, he wasn't rude or anything but he wasn't coming out.

They were fine. They were very nice. It was a great company. I decided to do something else with the concrete, but they were very nice and pleasant.

Final product of multiple layers of epoxy and colored sands created a nice effect in our entrance foyer. Derek Payne quoted us 500 hundred dollars to do our project at the San Antonio Home and Garden show, apologizing that my project area was so small and he had a minimum charge. What he failed to mention - it was just the labor cost. He also mentioned at the show that he would give us the 15% show discount, but learned later that our job was too small to provide the discount. Later during an appointment at my house after the show he mentioned the materials would cost another $350 or so above the quoted $500. I needed to purchase them directly from his supplier and he would pick them up to do our project. I thought this was highly unusual (who else does this?), but I ordered them and the supplier either lost or mishandled my order. Resulted in a minor delay in our start date. Work took a day or two longer than quoted, was told the sandwich layers didn't cover as well as previously expected. Was initially told excess/unused epoxy, sand, and other project materials would be left with me since our job was so small that not all would be used, but was later informed all materials were applied so none were leftover. Worker(s) deposited excess clear epoxy on the grass in my neighbor's side yard (about a 1 ft diameter, 1" thick hard disk) and used my garden hose for cleanup, coating it and the grass in the area with excess clear epoxy. The epoxy layers on our front foyer peeled up in one corner and cracked one week after completion for an unknown reason. We did not contact Stain Tech as we just didn't feel comfortable doing further business with them and doubted they would warranty their work. After my initial review was published on Angie's List though, I was promply contacted by Derek Payne who quickly repaired the damaged area on the very same day to the best that could be expected. I was uncomfortable with this purchase after the $500 quoted price escalated to $895 after the H&G show, was more uncomfortable after several things Mr. Payne told me failed to materialize as stated or implied, after my lost materials order, the delayed start and end dates, the final cleanup in my yard, and the lack of customer service follow-up after the work was completed until Mr. Payne saw my negative feedback here. I believe the company is growing and maturing, offers competitive products and services, and is learning how to be more professional. As such, most of my project's negative experiences are unlikely to be repeated.

Derek and his crew were very professional in every manner. They worked extremely hard to provide a great product on many different surfaces. They were creative and I would highly recommend their work.

Purchased a Big Deal coupon for epoxy flooring. Contacted Derek to come out and do the job. He came out with another guy and gave me a quote. Then I wanted to see how much it would cost to stain my front door. We both agreed it would be better just to purchase a new door from the amount of detailed work that would go into the door. He saw the fence and we talked about staining that. We finally agreed upon a price. I wasn't real sure it was a good deal and still think it was a little high. They powerwashed the garage and then said they would be back the next day. Derek was late on the first appointment and several hours late on the second appointment with of course an excuse. The job was done and the results are ok. Attention to detail and punctuality is something lacking with this company.

Those guys are awesome. The owner Derek Payne did a great job on the epoxy floor in the garage. The crew that he sent was great. They even helped to move some heavy items out of my garage. They were very good at communicating and answering questions. They stayed in constant contact with updates on where the crew was and when they would be doing the work. They did a very good job of explaining the process. I will be using them for concrete staining in the near future.

I recommended that my husband contact Stain Tech for a quote for the city offices of Selma. Stain Tech quoted $15,000 for 2480 square feet. The city received another bid and the actual sq. footage was 1442 and they bid $5700. Stain Tech obviously missed the mark on measuring the square footage of the area and their quote was even ridiculous at best had the square footage been 2480. I am embarrassed that I recommended this company to my husband to contact for a bid for his office and now question the ratings of "A" that this company received.

Job was done promptly. Surface is attractive, durable and easy to clean. Totally transformed the garage.

I purchased a big deal from them back in June. The service provider told me that he was 30-40 minutes away. He called me one day and said that he would swing by but never showed up. He called a few weeks later and asked me to measure my garage for him. He then scheduled a 3rd time and did not show up. He scheduled 3 different times but never showed up.

It took some redo due to a faulty product on my front porch. Derrik was very responsive and I am totally satisfied with the look of the products in my garage and on my front porch.

Was unhappy with work performed. After negotiation, Stain Tech sent another painter, at it's expense, to rectify mistaakes and re-do the job. For those reasons, I have modified my previous low rating to reflect an overall satisfactory experience.

Derrick came to the house and we made the deal. Then it rained every day for a week. Derrick called every day to check on the weather in our area. The first dry day, he came out and completed the job. The concrete surface looks so much better now that it is stained. Adds a touch of class to our outdoor living area.

It went very well; The garage looks better than ever.

Communication was difficult, project was rusthed, and they had to come back to reapply finish. The sealant was applied uneven around the flagstone and the could not fix.

Everything went as promised. Work was done in a timely manner and my garage floor looks great.

I think they did a very quality job at a reasonable price. They were highly cooperative, highly motivated and they were on time, on schedule and did an outstanding job. I would use them again.

Very good. The house is almost 30 years old, so the concrete was filthy and had quite a few blemishes and cracks. I could not afford the heavier treatment, so the blemished and cracks still show; but it is acceptable. It was very stained and all the stains are gone. It is great to go out in the garage and see what a difference the epoxy with flakes make! Love it. Dereck explained the features and process on putting the epoxy on the floor. He and the other young man were very pleasant to be around. I am quite impressed with Dereck as he started the business when he was in high school and after 6 years is a fine young businessman.

Was supposed to be epoxy but convinced husband it should be PAINTED instead because the concrete patio would be too hot to use even with a patio cover and ceiling fan. So patio got power washed one day and painted the next.
