We bought an amazon local full home 2000 sqft carpet cleaning from this service. When we went online the nearest appointment we could get was 2 months away so we booked for February 7th to have the carpets cleaned before family came to town. We waited all day for the technician to show up for the 9am scheduled appointment and finally at 2:25pm they emailed me back saying due to weather they weren't working today. 3 more e-mails later they finally said we would have to reschedule online and it was another 2 months before we could get an appointment. Today, April 7th, we were scheduled for 9am and no call or e-mail so at 12:05pm they finally e-mail me back and state they will arrive between 7:30am-5:30pm regardless of appointment time but if we wanted a shortened window we could pay extra. They also stated the technician would call ahead before arrival. At 12:40pm the technician arrived with no phone call and had a bad attitude constantly arguing everything we had to say. He was told 3 times by 2 different people that we had a 2 year old sleeping in the back bedroom and that would have to be last. He kept saying that is not how he needs to do the home and we said to start on the other side cause the child is sleeping and they were supposed to be here at 9am. Before starting service he stated there would be an extra $56.15 charge for our home location being outside 1604 (less then 3 miles) that I paid just so he would get to work and complete the job. The technician went upstairs and "cleaned" one room in less then 10 minutes and when I came around the corner to see where he was he had opened the door to the child's room and was in there cleaning with a sleeping child unattended. At this point I told him to get out of the room and close the door, he responded he needed to clean this room now, and I repeated louder to shut the door which he slammed and then went downstairs informing us he would refund the $56.15 that was charged today. When I went upstairs he had basically soaked the carpet in the one room he "completed" and there was a nasty smell like water was just dumped on the carpet and spread around. He also "cleaned" half of the loft and it was similar to the other room as far as smelling and soaking wet. The technician left the house and I immediately went to Amazon and my bank to get the charges refunded. The atrocious customer service and lack of completing work properly by this company is frustrating and I want to make sure no one has to go through this experience again. We have had to call to get another carpet cleaning company to come out right away to fix what they did to the carpets before leaving. They are not welcome back in my home and I cannot believe that when you hire a company to enter a home to do a job they are going to tell you how it will be done and even if that is not what you need they will go ahead and do it their way. In e-mails back and forth with the company in which they stated they were refunding the total today and I would have to contact amazon for the rest of the refund. I informed them that I was on the phone with amazon before their technician left the home and I have asked them to do a formal inquiry on their services. I figured at this point it would be the last contact I had with the company but apparently their lack of service holds no bounds. The company e-mailed me again stating "No worries. I'm glad you've got that straightened out. Our crew doesn't appreciate being yelled at or belittled. Have a good day." when in fact it was his crew members rude attitude that was just the tip of the iceberg with their company. I implore all of you to never purchase a Groupon/Amazon Local Voucher or make any inquiry into service with this company.
Description of Work: The provider did nothing they were hired to do and had no remorse about missing appointments, showing up late, and even had attitude with our entire family on their arrival.
