James did an awesome job coming to the house and reviewing our existing screens and recommending replacements. They did a fantastic job. So much so that we asked him to come back and redo the screen doors to our patio in a solar shade. They turned out amazing. Our house has never looked so good and the solar screens work great cutting the heat and sun. Definitely recommend them. Great customer service!

Kevin came to measure the windows and gave us great price. 10 years ago, I had another company installed screen for the other house so we know how much of heat these screens block. Unlike that company, Kevin assured that he cleans the window before installation. His screen does not use screws to attach to the window frame but use spring system. We can remove and clean windows w/o damaging the frames. I recommend KEVIN!

James was great, he came out to measure and provided an estimate on paper which I really liked. Too often we have had people come out and just verbally tell us the cost without detailing specifics. James had all of the measurements with drawings and cost per screen. James also provided swatches of different solar screen weaves and colors for us to choose from. Install was quick and the screens look great, so much so that our neighbors have asked for his information.

This company is very busy, so it did take a little time to get someone to come out and get the process started. Also, it's not a quick process, as it takes about 4 weeks to get the shades after they are ordered. We contacted several other vendors with similar products and this company provided the best options and a wider variety of colors. Although we initially thought Solar Shades' prices were a lot higher, that turned out not to be the case when we looked at the breakdown and factored in extras that we're getting. Also, they did give us a 5% military discount. Quality product and good customer service too.

Excellent workmanship, on time and on budget!

The install of the solar screens was very prompt and smooth. The installation of the solar shade took a little longer as he had to go back to his office/warehouse to get other materials. He had to adapt/create the and quot;pull chainand quot; to be the proper length such the the shade would unroll to the proper length and such. But no issue overall as James and his employee did a very nice job.

Showed up on time and were very professional. No speed bumps, all went well.

Decided not to use solar window screens, but if we did, we definitely would have used this company. Very sharp employees and excellent product and price.

I would highly recommend this company in the future. I do a lot of research and evaluate products and companies before they do work on my house. I thought they were very responsive to my needs, returned calls promptly, the owner of the company was always available and ensured my complete satisfaction. I had 22 windows completed and I was very pleased with the price and quality of work.

Contacted James and he came out the next day to give me an estimate. You can get a cheaper quote/product but what he installed is the best in my sub and neighbors love it. I had him install the shades with the muntins or whatever you call the pieces that form panes in the windows. They matched up perfectly with what was in the glass except for two arched windows. He had them re-made and came back to install them. I got the 90% shades and they look great and my bills are already dropping. I am leery of most contractors because it's easy to get ripped off in this town but James only required 100.00 down, spent time talking to me about options, measured everything precisely and when the fabricating company got a couple wrong, he took care of it. I am a satisfied customer.

The owner of Solar Screens arrived on time and measured the 8 windows to be covered. He was most helpful in describing the different levels of protection and color choices. He was able to give us a price estimate and approximate date of delivery the first day. The screens are made by him at his shop. He called when they were made and brought them out and secured them to the window on the same day. We were very please with his work and the screens. I will call him again if ever we need his type of services.

Overall, working with Mr. McKeon was excellent. The product and installation turned out better than expected. In spite of some difficulty getting the correct hardware from the supplier which delayed installation, Mr. McKeon kept us informed in a timely manner. His attention to detail, sense of humor and good customer service made the experience a good one.

It went great. I am happy with the result.

Very happy with the result! Chose the 80% sun blockage galaxy screen material which not only offers sun blockage and protection to drapes and interior furnishings while still being able to see outside from the inside very clearly, but also offers added safety/security due to not being able to see inside the house from the outside. Highly recommend this product! Friendly and helpful service.

The August heat was too much to bare this year so I emailed Solar Shades for an extimate on installing shades for two skylights. James contacted and scheduled an appointment within two days and of me contacting his website. He arrived on time and listed the benefits of the solar shades. He climbed to the top of our roof, measured each skylight, explained the difference between the 80% and 90% coverage and provided a color pallet from which to choose. We were happy with the estimate and ordered specially designed screens for two skylights. A week later he installed each one and we are pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Solar Shades and James to others.

Great experience! James was real responsive, showed up on time for the first appointment to give us an estimate. He was very courteous and professional, and explained how the screens would be installed. Once the screens were ready, James called, we scheduled an appointment and they showed up on time and installed the screens within an hour.

He was very nice. He came a couple of days earlier than he thought. He measured the windows to make the screens up. I asked him about getting screens on the other side of the house of the bathroom window. He felt that I didn't need them and did not try to push a sale.

These screens have reduced the light and glare in my home as well as lowered the temperature in my home. I'm hoping my energy bills will also be lower. They first measured the windows and then gave me a written estimate. Once I accepted their estimate they showed up in about a week and installed these screens! Everything went well.

James came to suggest options for shading the UV rays coming from the window to an area where I have a sofa and paintings on the adjacent wall. He suggested the least expensive one. Another company suggested a blind with remote control at a cost of over $700. He even installed the film at the time he came for an estimate.
