Description of Work: shafer is very professionnal, present well, but they prices are alays hire apple to apple. So be aware. Do you home work to check what staffer offers. I had a better system put in my house for $7750. Shafer wanted 13, 377 for it, apple to apple.... Be aware, make your hom ework before signing with Shafer.

Exactly as promised.
Description of Work: We had a leaking shower/bath that had been repaired in the past, and we expected that we needed to rework the entire shower (1957 vintage). We did. So, step one was to cut of the water to that leak, and that's what we called Shaefer for. They capped the water supply to the shower/bath, a temporary measure while we decide what to do next. The came over later the same day and did the job.

Description of Work: Had a leak. Water dripping from light. Had to cut open ceiling to get to it. Turn off water, replace part, and all done. They even offer someone in their office to out to fix ceiling

Were having problems with both toilets flushing well and had a stopped up line. Bob replaced parts on both toilets and they now flush fantastically. He also augered the line and cleared it. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I was very pleased with the service, the professionalism and the QUICK repair! He checked the system out, told me about some things that could reduce my energy bill, and got the house cooled down fast. I was so impressed with the service that I signed a service agreement with the company. No pressure, but thorough explanations and options insight!
Description of Work: My A/C went out late on a Friday night. Weekend calls are difficult, but Shafer came out by noon on Saturday!

Excellent. Service person, Richard, was very professional and courteous. He explained problem with A/C in layman terms and provided future preventive measures to take to avoid problems. I used the coupon provided by Shafer Services to reduce my service charge, making the price very reasonable. A great experience.

Overall experience was one of the best I have had with a service company in years. This company totally gets taking care of their customers in a timely fashion.
Description of Work: Initially, I had a fan in the A/C unit replaced, but the unit was close to 25 years old, so I opted to talk to the salesperson about a new heat/AC unit for the home. Between the day of the fan replacement and the date for the new unit install, I had a bad leak in the condenser/water line. Of course, it was a Sunday, but when I called I was assured they would send someone out right away to look at it and restore the old unit enough so I would have A/C (in 100 degree + weather). They did and it was fixed within a half hour. They came on that Monday and Tuesday, installed the new unit, and had to return a couple of times to make adjustments. Everyone I spoke with or had in my home was courteous, concerned when things were not working just right, and prompt. I highly recommend this company to anyone and I plan to continue using them for semi-annual maintenance.

Great service! The serviceman was on time and was very helpful. He had challenges to overcome since the outdoor unit is on the roof of my condo building and access proved difficult. But he got up there (and made sure to annotate on my paperwork where the access was in case someone else ever has to come out to service the HVAC) and performed the checks he needed. He pointed out potential problem areas and possible solutions, but didn't push hard to fix them on the spot. He told me what could wait and what might be important to fix sooner rather than later. I was very impressed and glad I signed up for a maintenance agreement. I would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: I called them to request a check-up of my a/c unit and to establish a maintenance agreement. The serviceman came to the house and conducted a thorough check-up to include the indoor and outdoor parts of the unit.

Absolutely superb from the initial conversation about courses of action to the last wave. Always on time, polite, totally trustworthy, and they even clean up after themselves. I can leave the house in their care and know that I do not have to worry about anything. This was not the first job - they have also installed a PRV and water heater. Every job is the same - perfect!
Description of Work: Shafer Services rerouted the water point of entry from the front of the house to the garage and installed a whole house water filtration system.

The best decision I ever made! They were on time, hard working, skilled, left everything super clean, very professional. I felt like I had a brand new bathroom in perfect working order. After the work was complete operation and maintenance were explained with warranties. I would use them every time!

THE SERVICE TECH WAS ON TIME AND VERY POLITE. THEY HAD THE NECESSARY PARTS. THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN TWO HOURS. THEY CHECKED THE WIRING AND REPLACED WHAT I NEEDED. THIS WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.
