Discovered leak in the tank of my commode. Wasn't sure if caused by the freeze. Was scheduled for afternoon of the same day I called (today) but was called back and said a plumber was now available. Frank arrived promptly, assessed the situation, gave the estimate and went right to work. Assured me it was not the freeze, and he checked out my pipes and showed me where to cut off the water in the house, and to that particular bathroom for futured reference. Also, gave me several other helpful hints about my pipes and what to do for the next freeze. I was impressed with his professionalism and customer service.

Chris Chamrad was outstanding in all facets of customer service, he was very knowledge in determining a possible cause for the problem, then applying a fix was quick and professionally done, I watched the whole thing. He also provided advice on other facets. My only disappointment was the price which has nothing to do with Chris, but if you want high quality professionalism sometimes you have to pay for it. I did receive a military discount and wasn't charged a dispatch fee because work was done. Warranty on the work was 1 year which was also a good thing. After Chris explained everything to me it makes since that resetting the toilet will fix the problem, I will just have to wait and see. Thanks again Chris, and I was wondering if you guys could give coupons on Angies list for the service rather than the dispatch? Reggie

Work was done professionally and quote was given before work was begun. Plumber left and I found a small leak in one faucet. Called and then sent the plumber back within the hour. All was handled well. I was quite satisfied.

We called Shafer's weekend, on-call number and were blessed to speak with Charlie. He helped us troubleshoot the problem to temporarily stop the leak as *we* felt we could wait until the next day since it was getting dark. Charlie called early the next day to see how the temporary fix turned out. We agreed that a service call would be necessary. Chris Gonzales came, as promised, on time at 9:00 a.m. tHe and Charlie were equally kind and patient with our questions. They quoted the price before doing the job and Chris was finished before we knew it. Chris explained Shafer's service plan which is less expensive than our current plan with a competitor with equal benefit. (When it's time to renew, we'll renew with Shafer.) Finally, Chris advised me to contact SAWS to let them know about the leak for an possible adjustment in the bill. In conclusion, we think Shafer went above and beyond the call of duty. It's truly rare to do business with men of this caliber. They were truly Christmas miracles.

They did a very good job. They were prompt and took care of the leak right away.

I submitted a service request online on Shafer's website at about 10:30a.m. The dispatcher responded with a phone call the next morning a little after 8:00 a.m. and scheduled an appointment that same day between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. They called to say they were on their way before 11:00 a.m. and the two servicemen showed up around 11:20 a.m. They were able to quickly provide a quote and completed the work by about 12:05 p.m. They were professional, cleaned up after themselves, and the work appears to be done correctly. My only complaint was the price - for less than an hour of work and 3 routine inside repairs (no crawl spaces, digging, or any other "dirty work"), the cost was over $600.

They came out withing the hour and fixed my plumbing and it was great. They took a $25 coupon from Angie's List. It was great service. They were very courteous men.

They cleaned up well and everything looks great. This is not the first time I have used them. They always are very good and provide outstanding service. The pricing is also reasonable.

I called Shafer at 915am this morning to arrange a time for plumber . They told me he would be there by 10am. He arrived exactly on time. He checked out the problem, talked by phone to the dishwasher installer, installed the new equipment and tested for leaks. He also inspected the hot water heater to see if there were any problems. A totally professional experience from start to finish.

Chris was here at our office within one hour from calling in the problem. He was very professional and courteous. He had to go and pick up a part but was back here and the problem was fixed promptly.

The experience was fine. i was happy with the service and with the technician. i was just overwhelmed with the price of the job. I had another small job I wanted done, and forgot to ask about it: leaking faucet. I'm sure that would have been expensive as well. Shafer charges by the job, not the hour. I was very disappointed with the price I had to pay for this job. I would not contact Shafer again just for that reason. Everything else about the service was great.

Everything was great. We loved them, and they responded quickly. Their prices were good, and they did not try to sell us any services we did not need. We couldn't be happier with them, and we would use them again.

This company Saved my day! I had a flight that departed at 12:00 pm that same day. I called. They answered quickly. And the person that answered the phone calmed me and told me that she would call me back. After a few minuets she called back and said they would send there first truck out to fix the problem. At 8 a.m two men rang my doorbell. They even had foot protectors on to protect my carpet! They entered the house and Quickly found the leak. I was suprised when he said that he could fix it quickly and had all the right tools loaded on the truck. They did not waist ANY time getting the job done. I took a nap. And did not even know they where in my house. Yes! They did very well!!

The quality of their work is excellent, and I am considering having them replace my air conditioning unit. They come out very quickly. When my air conditioning went out, they came the same day. They were very helpful in that way.

They examined the home inspection checklist and write-ups for the HVAC system and went item by item verifying problems and correcting them. If a problem could easily be completed by us, they told us how to do it so we didn't pay more for their services. Their plumber also came out to look at some items and corrected them also.

It was an excellent experience. They have great customer service. They were up front about there pricing. They left the area cleaner then it was before. They were extremly professional. The pricing was a little high but I was willing to pay more for the quality of their services.

The service went well. They were very prompt. I called them up and they were out within an hour of the call. I thought the price was a little high for the service.

Chris was quite professional and knowledgable. He discovered several unknown problems including corroded hot water connection on top of the water heater and a leaking kitchen faucet. Estimates were provided for re-placements and labor, both of which seemed a bit high. In addition, he repaired a leak at the laundry room sink, which had been previously discovered. He provided some helpful hints in how to remove the diverse plungers of the sinks and tubs in order to clean out the drains of hair and other debris. Excellent experience overall.

Brian was an exceptional technician, professional and knowledgable. He checked each of the four units, all of the air handlers being located in the attic, which did not make the job the most enjoyable in light of the heat factor. He even replaced one of the light bulbs in the attic that I had not realized had burned out. He found three of the units operating at 100% efficiency, but another operating at 45% efficiency, which may need to be re-checked and eventually repaired. In addition, the other unit, which was operating below par (see above), needed to be recharged with a significant amount of freon, which had an immediate effect on cooling the room. Brian advised that an electronic leak test would need to be done for this latter unit in several weeks to check out the source of the leak and the resulting loss of freon. Estimates were provided for both the standard and reduced rate electronic leak rate (depeding on how long it would take to locate the source of the leak) as well as if the coils would need to be replaced.

Work was done efficiently and well. My only complaint was the price of the commode, but in further checking learned that the brand used was the "top of the line" so to speak; therefore, the increase in price from those I had been looking at. Worked was done very well, so I don't have any complaints except that I felt the price was a little high. Would definitely use them again as they completed the job in an hour and a half and carried off the old commode and left everything spotless.
