Description of Work: Toilet leaking and garbage disposal not working Called Shafer Service and was able to choose the next day and a 2 hour window. Chris arrive early in the window The evaluation of the toliet was that I needed a new one. Chris reminded me of the SAWS program which I can get 2 free toilets. He also gave me an all inclusive estimatel if I chose to have Shafer's do the work He looked @ the disposal. BEFORE doing the work he gave me an estimate. I chose to have him fix the disposal (which he did in a jiffy) I was able to take 25.00 off (coupon) for the 49.00 service dispatch fee. He answered many other questions. As a single woman, I feel MOST comfortable with Shafer and will ask for Chris again. What a wonderful and professional experience!

Description of Work: Heating system did not flow hot air, Rodney Smith recommend a new thermo couple/flame sensor & installed a low level carbon monoxide monitor (which was done). We also got service plan agreement.

Description of Work: I called for service for a water leak at the side of my garage. I also asked how much they would charge to change out 3 water faucets that I have already purchased. I am going for an updated look in my bathrooms. Told there would be a dispatch charge of $49.00. Online site had a $25.00 off coupon for dispatch. They could be here same day in a few hours. They did not want to give an estimate over the phone without looking at the situation, which seemed fair. They came early. Called first. Very professional. Nice van. Plumber was friendly and professional. Had everything he needed to repair the leak. Took 45 minutes to an hour. Quote to replace faucets and a new water line was $250.00 which seemed too high for my husband and me. Very satisfied with work performed. He was very competent. Price seemed a little high but I'm not that much in tune with plumber pricing.

Description of Work: I called in the morning and explained that I needed to cap off a line to an ice maker which I had removed. I could not use the sink until this was repaired. I was given a window of 12-2. A call came at 11:45 to tell me a technician, Chris, would be there shortly. Before doing any work, Chris evaluated the repairs and informed me what needed to be done. He told me the cost, informed me of the discount for seniors and the $25 discount for new customers if I printed out the coupon (which I did). Chris checked and repaired a couple toilets, replaced a pipe and shut off valve under my sink, and informed me about a couple things I could do by myself to avoid extra costs.
