It went great! These people care about your property and earn every dollar you pay them. Previous property mgmt. team I had were fired for mismanagement. Select Property management got me a reliable tenant and did a great job for the 2 years I was with them. I would have kept both the tenant and the mgmt. team on for a longer time but it was time to sell the house and get closer to the grandchildren. Thank You Select Property Management Team!

Pat Sankey did an amazing job walking me through the entire process of selling my Mom's house. She was patient, answered my many questions, and took me step-by-step through every part of prep, getting it on the market, closing, and things to do post-closing. She made suggestions along the way that I never would have thought of on my own. She truly felt like an advocate and ally throughout and I can't recommend her highly enough.

I feel that Pat went above and beyond in her assistance and support for selling my home. She began by recommending updates that needed to be done to help optimize the desirability of the home to potential buyers. She then brought in stagers to help maximize the professional look needed for marketing images. The home was in a very desirable location and we had an offer in under 6 days at full asking price. Pat assisted us all the way through to the signing of closing paperwork. During the selling process she assisted us in identifying what we were looking for in a new home and location and then would present us with daily lists of homes that were new to the market. From these lists we would identify potential contenders and she would spend any where from an entire day to just an hour if that was all the time we had to show us the homes. She never once was unavailable to any time we made a request for a viewing.

I've enjoyed such a professional and reliable business relationship with Pat Sankey and her home management company for the last four years, that I've now confidently engaged her to sell my property. The genuine concern and proactive efforts by her and her staff routinely result in a quick response to any problems encountered with the property, including standing home watch for my renter when a garage door failed on his weekend trip departure, until supervising a repair completion later that day. Pat always provides detailed monthly reports on the property and easily understood accounting for its management. Her lease agreements are professionally thorough and ensure the owner is confident any renter she provides is well vetted. Anyone fortunate enough to engage Pat Sankey as their property manager, especially for those out of state owners, can rest assured they've got a superstar!

It didn't go. She stood me up twice.

I wanted to wait to post on Pat until I had let some time pass to see how things went. The time wasn't needed. The level of professionalism Pat showed on our first meeting is the same great service we have gotten ever since. I was nervous about renting our home and leaving it in someone elses hands while we were so far away but it has been seemless. Responsiveness may have been an issue once or twice but she has added staff over the last couple years and I don't wait more than a day to hear back from someone if I contact them. If you want somebody who will take time to know you, not price gauge you, and has years of experience than Pat is the right one for you. We are currently selling our house and she is handling all the details. I just sit back and let them do their work and they haven't disappointed me yet.

The property management service Pat Sankey provided for 2 years (March 2014 through February 2016) was exceptional. She found a great tenant who paid their rent on time every month and took good care of my home. The tenant initially signed an 18 month lease and then extended for another 6 months. The tenant was a bit meticulous in reporting maintenance issues so the management company heard from them frequently. Pat's staff was responsive and professional in addressing every need and complaint. I was contacted promptly for each repair over the dollar amount specified in our contract and all needed repairs were performed by competent and reasonably priced service companies. Net rent payments were direct deposited into my bank account promptly on or about the 7th of every month and the accompanying accounting statement with any repair invoices were emailed to me at the same time. When the tenant moved out at the end of their lease, Pat did a thorough walk-through and withheld an appropriate amount for minor damages from the tenant's deposit. Since I was moving back in when the tenant moved out and wanted to replace the carpet, Pat referred me to her wholesale carpet guy and arranged a team of installers to complete the job. Pat and her office staff were pleasant, helpful and professional from beginning to end. I would definitely use her again.

I met with Sankey & Associates about property management services for our two homes in San Antonio. They were most professional and after looking at four firms, it came down to Sankey Realtors and another firm. It was a very difficult decision for my wife and I and after much thought we decided to use another firm. We thanks Sankey & Associates for their time and professionalism and if we were to need their services in the future to address our property management needs, we would surely be in contact with them for all the right reasons. Pat assisted me and my wife in selling a condo that we had tried to sell two years earlier without success. After following Pat's recommendations for making the house ready, we were surprised to receive 3 offers within a month 18k over what we were expecting. We had purchased the property for 62k and was just hoping to break even. We received an offer for 80k. Although Pat is one of the most easy and friendly people I have worked she, she is serious when it comes to her work. Pat worked hard during the process. I remember, because Pat called me during the final minutes of the Super Bowl. This showed me her dedication and seriousness when it comes down to it. At that time it was a matter of getting or losing a potential buyer. Because we lived out of state and didn't know anyone in Texas, we found Pat on Angie's list and are glad we did. We had owned the condo for 9 years and it was under property management during that entire time. I was no longer happy with my old property management, who I tried to use to sell my condo without success. Two years later, I found Pat. I chose here because she did both Property Management and Sales. I was worried that if our condo didn't sell, at lease we would be able to easily transition back the home as a rental. Although I have never met her in person, I will never forget my experience with Pat and her help. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for her assistance.

I have waited awhile to see how things with with Pat and her team before posting a review. I am a skeptic, who has come to expect okay service and with Property Management sometimes it is great until they get your business and then it slacks off. Not with Pat. From the first day we knew we wanted to go with her. I read some negative posts saying she did not respond in a timely manner. It might take Pat a day or two to respond to non-urgent matters sent via email but a text or call always has gotten a fast response. That might be the only negative I can think of. The process of getting our house on the rental market was so easy I started to wonder if I was getting taken for a ride. No, Pat was just handling everything without me having to do anything and within two weeks my house was rented at the price I desired. Pat seems to be very fair to both sides. She sees it from the renters and owners point of view and is good at making them meet in the middle. She also has a large network so if you need a handyman, painter, cleaners; whatever it is she will have a connection that gets you a good price. Overall very satisfied!

It is an absolutely fantastic service. They are personal and have a hands on approach and made me feel comfortable with their service.

Pat was OUTSTANDING! We have sold homes in the past and she was by far the best realtor we ever had represent us. When I say going out of her way for her customers, she really goes way out of her way to accomplish the mission of getting your home sold. All went extremely well. Her projected price hit the actual appraised value right on the nose and she got us exactly what we wanted to get from the house. She handled all negotiations and worked with the buyer to keep things on track and flow smoothly for us. Pat and her team were right on every step of the way.

I owned a home in San Antonio and live in the DC area. I discovered the prior management company hadn't held up their end of the bargain and the home had fallen into disrepair. I found Pat on Angie's list - she is a God-send! The home required a ton of work and she provided a lot of guidance on how to strategize and prioritize. Work took several months to complete and she had to visit the home quite often. She would provide me with progress reports on the work and communicated with me often. She even got to know my neighbors, which was a huge help. Being so far away, it was nice to know that the neighbors knew what was going on with the house and had Pat to contact, if needed. She really went the extra mile. I ended up deciding to sell, and WOW, she was so impressive. Pat knew how the home needed to look, what landscaping needed to be done, staging - she covered it all. My home received two offers in less than 2 weeks of being on the market - incredible! It also sold for way more than I expected and it is all because Pat has a gift for real estate. She knew what needed to be done and knew how to execute the plan. Without her, I would not have sold the home at a profit. One of the many amazing things that Pat did - after each showing, I would receive feedback from each visitor through an emailed report. It was so useful to see what people liked or didn't like about the property & price and also to see how many people were visiting. When you are selling a house, trust me, the feedback is of paramount importance. Through the closing process, she communicated with me often and was very attentive to my questions. She was so wonderful and we spoke so much, I'm going to miss talking with her! Pat is very kind, funny, smart and gifted. I truly wish she could be my realtor wherever I lived. Her assistant, Heather, is amazing. Heather is articulate, responsive, and professional. I always felt like I could rely on her and Pat. When you live 1,300 miles from the property - that's extremely important. Pat goes above and beyond. I read the other review about the supposed unresponsiveness - I think in this day and age, people expect instant gratification: for someone to immediately call back, etc. Some times a thoughtful and thorough response takes time. I would rather have an informed response than a half-response or a response that made me felt pushed-off. People need to be realistic with their expectations! If I left Pat a message, I knew that she would get back to me. I don't expect to be the center of her universe, that would be silliness! She was always responsive and attentive to any inquiry, email, call, or even if I just emailed to say hello. (Remember, I had a lot of work done on my house, so she was there for me for MONTHS.) I wholeheartedly trust Pat. She will go above and beyond for any client - she is simply the best!

I had to move out of town for work on rather short notice. After much consideration I decided to offer my house for rent rather than sell. The distance made it difficult to finish some of the repairs to make the property ready for showing. After signing on with Pat, she went through the house and arranged for a contractor to take of everything that needed attention. I have a very busy schedule, and Pat was very flexible and understanding of my limited availability. She had the house ready and leased in about a month! Communication continues to be great, and she and her team are alway available to answer any question via phone, e-mail or text. I would definitely recommend Pat Sankey for anyone needing Property Management services.

My initial communication began 3 May via email through Angie's List. By 6 May she was sent all required information to view my rental property for management services. I tried calling her several times via her mobile, with no answer, even her voice mail box was full. So I called her office and spoke to the secretary, who called her mobile. Within 5 mins of that I received a call back from her.....interesting. I voiced my concern regarding her disregard and inattentiveness to my emails, that she assured me would be answered by she or her secretary. Needless to say that never happened. The tenant was never contacted for the "appointment" to view my property. I was even interested in a home next door I considered purchasing. i even sent her this information as well. Well, today is 12 May, no call back as I was promised, no response to my emails. I made it clear that I am in Afghanistan, therefore there needs to be consideration of the time difference. Although I made it my business to pursue communication with her, this was only one sided. However, emails can be anytime. Initially she presented herself as attentive and responsive, this was clearly a farce. She gave me an excuse regarding office inspections....I think that comes with the territory for every office of employment. But it sure does not explain 9 days of unanswered calls or emails. Especially does not explain why the tenant was never contacted for an appointment to view my property. Although she presents herself as personable and reliable......this was clearly and obviously not the case here. Although, I wanted to do business with her, I had to reconsider this. Why? If you cannot entertain these simple professional courtesies, how will you manage my property properly? I experienced horrible property managers. However, I was willing to trust someone again. I have to consider the fact that I am in another country, therefore I must rely on the manager to do the right thing by me as well as the tenant! Now, I'm sure she'll offer some poor excuse or even place blame on me. However, I assure you I have extended every possible means to obtain her services falling short of begging! My search continues........ Update: After careful consideration and discussing my concerns regarding the lack of timeliness and responses, I thought we were finally I the same sheet of music. I tried to give Ms Sankey the benefit of the doubt. How more wrong could I have been. This realtor is contemptuous, and at times rude and also not a very good liar. Being retired military, she actually had the nerve to basically tell me that, " We are a little more layer back". Therefore saying that I should not expect too when conducting business with professionals. If they you're told that they are going to get back with your send you documents, don't hold them to it. Meaning don't hold her to it. I've called her many times, her voicemail is so full you cannot leave messages. And this is a professional? I text a statement that got her attention, within minutes she returned the call. Coincidence? No. This had proven several times. She screens her calls I the office as well. I called, and at this time I was tired of her rude behavior and cancelled her service. Immediately she called back. From the same number I had just called and was told she was not there. Being a professional myself, I know the games. I Tried to be open minded, but my first instinct was correct. I would never recommend her to anyone whom I considered a friend.

I had raised my daughters in a home that held many memories and much joy for me..
