Ross was prompt, courteous and professional and left the door in better condition than prior to the damage. I'll be hiring them again!

I scheduled an appointment to uninstall a garage door opener that had to be removed that day since I was moving out of military housing. I was told they would be at my house between 4-7pm the same day and there would be no problem with the technician getting onto the military base. At 6:45 I called to see if the technician was still going to make the appointment and was told that he was running a couple hours late and wouldn't make it until 8:30 or 9pm. At 8:40 I got a call saying the technician was on his way, but he didn't show up to the base visitor's center until 10. At 10:30 the tech calls me to tell me they won't let him on base and they have no one else that can come out. This company wasted my entire day waiting for a technician that was never going to be able to do the work due to his long crime history (base police told me it was quite extensive) which prevented his getting access to the base. Since the company did not know this would be an issue, I can only assume they don't do criminal background checks to verify the technicians they send to work in your house are trustworthy people. Do not use this company unless you want to pay for the privilege (given they ever show up) to have criminals working in your home!

Changed appointment from Wednesday to Thursday. On Thursday came during service window but did not have cables necessary far repair. Came back later in the day after calling and replaced garage cables. I was very impressed how quickly they discovered the issues with my garage door. Very pleased with their pricing.

The chain on our garage door opener broke falling to the ground. We called O'Brien Garage Door Opener on Friday for pricing and models and made arrangements for them to come on Saturday to install a Liftmaster. It was a special they were running through Angie's List for $365 complete with install. The opener included the keypad outside the garage door, two remotes, the wall mount and laser mounts. When the installer arrived on Saturday, he brought the wrong model and was not aware of the keypad that needed to be installed. We called the office and a man put me on hold to find out information. He returned after 5 minutes and said his manager told him they entered the information wrong into the system. They ordered the right model and said he would reschedule us for Monday. The installer was annoyed and stated "So that is what they told you." and then proceeded to complain about the inner workings of the office. On Monday, the same installer returned and quickly replaced the equipment. He was professional and took the time to help me set the security code and show me how to change it. He cleaned up. We really appreciate the quietness of the Liftmaster. Overall, there were communication issues between the company and the installer but it quickly resolved itself. We are very happy with the product and service.

The garage door was jerky and some of the spring slipped off the track. Ross saw the problem and said it needed rebalancing which he did quite smoothly and before we knew it, our garage door was working very smoothly.

Everything was fine. It cost a little bit more money than I thought it would but the work was fine. I got a tuneup in the mail for $49 for a garage door tuneup. Everything was fine with the tuneup. Then he said that I needed new rollers. By the time I was done, it was $500 for my two little garage doors. It was probably more than I wanted to spend but it was probably worth it because the garage doors work now. I wasn't cheated or anything. The young man that did it was very knowledgeable. It wasn't his first rodeo so he knew what he was doing. I felt very confident in his expertise.

I was not pleased with them. I got a coupon out of something and they were not too great. I would not use them again. I will go to someone else. They pretty much fixed what we wanted but it was more expensive than it needed to be. The interaction was okay.

It turned out well. They were good. I would recommend them. They did good work and they did whatever I wanted.

We were satisfied with the service. They were the lowest bidder. We would certainly call them in the future but we would do comparison shopping.

He was able to assess the pr so they would run smoothly and quietly. He also greased the track so it would run smoothly and quietly.

He was very timely. I felt like he was very honest and he knew the product very well. We have gotten this garage door fixed several times and he really was the first one I felt like that said exactly what was wrong with it and some things that we had done wrong with the work.

The repairs were done OK. Later, when I experienced problems (garage door came off tracks and stopped half-way down and could not be closed manually), I called them and they consistently decined to fix the door on a Saturday or Sunday. The dispatcher kept saying they don't work on Sunday and the rest of Saturday was booked solid. I said what about their web site which stated repairs made 24/7?? They said Sunday work had a premium. The call for service went on and on, needless to say, by the end of the call I didn't want to do business with O'Brien's ever again. (So much for guaranteeing their work!) I called Overhead Door and their local representative, GDS, came out and offered super service and by Saturday early evening my garage door was working perfectly.

I received a coupon in a "Home Mag" mailer catalog. I called the number on the coupon, (210) 428-6553, to get an estimate for garage door service. It rang about 8 times; a man answered, then disconnected when I asked where the company office was located. (I was trying to find out if it was the same company that got poor reviews on Angie's List.) I called back, in case the call accidentally dropped, but nobody answered. The third time I called the same number, a girl answered and said that "it was a mistake" that the man answered and then hung up on me. The girl told me that they do not have an address nor business location, although their website shows a photo of a storefront with their name on it. I inquired about the other two phone numbers on their website - different from the phone number on my coupon. She said they have different numbers to track which ads the callers are responding to. The call seemed very unprofessional and left me skeptical. After seeing poor ratings and remarks from other Angie's List members, I decided not to use them...ever!

Called after lightning storm and garage door wouldn't work. Tech came without ladder and was texting the whole time. Solution was to put an extension cord from garage to inside house and then left. This company provides an automated call letting you know they will be there in 30 minutes. The tech did not show up until 1 hour and ten minutes later. Talked with James and said they would come back after we had an electrician had come to fix power in garage but after talking with my husband I called James back and said we didn't want them back.

They were expensive. I would not use them again in the future.

Another repairman(I was told by girl answering phone) would be by around 8AM as there was no one else on the schedule. Around 9:30 they sent someone else. He arrived very shortly. His name was James. He worked quickly, professionally and was very courteous. I just thought the charge was high.
