I sent an E Mail over the weekend and first thing Monday AM got a call from the secretary wanting an explanation of the problem..She was very through in her questioning, asking about the type of locks, key numbers, etc. She said she could have a repairman out that day; I agreed. About 1PM received a call that the repairman was on the way. He arrived 15 minuets later. I showed him the frozen lock, he removed it from the bar and took it to his service van for repair. He returned shortly with the same lock working in perfect order. Placed it back on the sliding back patio door and made an extra effort to check all windows and doors with locks to ensure they were working properly. He adjusted every one, they all now turn easily and are simple to open & close. He used a special locksmith compact substance which left no residue or sticky sustenance on the locks or doors. In addition to all that work he made us 3 extra keys.Technician was very though, knowledgeable, polite, and very efficient. Rest assured, if I need lock service again, River City Lock & key will be my first and only call. Thank-You for an Outstanding job !

Front door key just spun around when inserted into deadbolt lock. They scheduled an appointment for the next day as soon as I called. Ian was Very prompt, professional, and knowledgeable.! He explained that a part inside the lock had broken off; it was almost 20 yrs old. He even re-keyed the lock so that the same key could be used on the inside and out (I had two separate ones). Even got $10 off for my Angie's List coupon. I would Definitely recommend them to anyone, and will call again!! :-)

Ian, the River City technician, came out the same afternoon that I called. He determined that the front door internal mechanism was missing some screws. This, over the span of 20 years, had caused some of the parts to fail. He checked with Baldwin and ordered the parts needed for the repair. He also tightened up the back door lock (no parts needed). Ian called a week later to let me know that the parts were in, and we set up an appointment to have them installed that afternoon. Everything works great now. I'm very pleased with Ian's knowledge and expertise, and will not hesitate to call River City Lock & Key in the future.

I called River City to see how to handle getting replacement hardware, & when I reviewed what I was looking for, they advised I could get it cheaper if I obtained it myself, which I did. They also provided me with some helpful advice as I was reviewing my needs with them, and that was much appreciated. They were able to come very soon after I called to say I was ready for installation, and that went very smoothly with a minimum of mess & disruption. I had ordered keyless deadbolts, & the installer was ready to go over their operation with me, but I had already read the manual and understood their operation. Everything is looking and working great, and I am 100% satisfied with their work.

Good experience - Gabriel showed up on time, went right to work, and very efficiently took care of all the door knob replacements. He did minimal damage to the finish on the doors (much less than another contractor who had done several other knobs previously). Gabriel never tried to stretch out the work, and since I was paying by the hour, I appreciated that! On top of that, he was friendly, courteous, and professional - I will definitely call River City Lock next time I need locksmith work done.

John advised me when Gabriel was on his way, and Gabriel arrived and efficiently performed the necessary work (rekey 8 cylinders and make 9 keys) plus answered the various questions I had about door locks and related security/safety. Excellent! Spoke with John this morning - didn't figure I'd get "same day service" but NOT only did I get that but Gabriel was her in about 30 minutes after the call! He asked to see the doors, handled the job quickly and efficiently and such a polite and professional young man. It's a pleasure doing business with a company like that! He said you should haven't to struggle to get in/out your doors. Feel refreshed now and just want to play with the doors and locks all afternoon.

On May 5, 2016, John answered the call, gave me a quote on what they will charge and when their technician would come. The next day, Bubba called when he was on his way. He then showed up in uniform and well equipped with his truck. Before he started the work, he explained clearly what needed to be done and what he will charge. Every thing all worked out really well. On his way out, he even provided some free service: help me with an old door by adding a little oil to make it work better. I really appreciate Bubba's kindness.

Entire experience was fantastic. I called the company and 30 minutes later he was at the house. Bubba was punctual, professional, and very helpful. His work was done right the first time and he went over the bill and explained all the charges. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.
