Amazing! I found Rialto Jewelers on Angie's List. They had great reviews and I had absolutely no idea where to go to get a custom ring designed. The reviews on Angie's List were so positive about Luis that I decided to visit with him. From the first discussion it was apparent that he was very knowlegeable, giving me his opinion of what would look good and woudn't; thoughtful as he considered various options and fair. We worked on the design over a few month period (I wasn't in a rush and it was over the Christmas holiday). He explained each step of the process; sent me computer images; had me back to look at the wax cast; then had me in again to look at the ring before the stones were set. At each stage I was able to make modifications if needed. His priority was to create a ring that I would absolutely love and he was successful! he advised a euro shank (as it is more comfortable) aqnd a comfort fit - I was skeptical about the euro shank as it is a slightly flat bottom to the ring and I am wearing it with two anniversary bands that are round on the bottom - but it sits perfectly and it doesn't spin from the weight of the stones. He selected beautiful diamonds to circle each of the three stones. I was a little concerned that the ring may be "too much" as I went from a simple setting of three good size diamonds - to a wider band, diamonds down the sides and halos on all three stones - but the ring is stunning - absolutely stunning! Luis gave me a price and said it might be below that and wouldn't be over it - he kept to his word on that which I appreciated. It is hard to find a jeweler who you trust - but Luis is easy to trust. He offered to buy my remainding gold from the necklace that I used to make the ring, and I had already contacted other jewelers on the price that they would offer and he was the highest of the few that I spoke with. Again, he seems more concerned with building long term customers as opposed to making the most out of every sale. Every time I was in the store there were repeat customers in there coming back for something - that speaks volumes! I will never use another jeweler even though he is a distance from my home, it is definitely worth the drive!

Listens to what you want. Than makes it even better. Will only use Rialto for any future need. Friendly professional and goes beyond my expectations. Would highly recommend Luis to any one of my friends.

Luis did an outstanding job. We had a ring from my fiancée's grandmother that we wanted to use the stones from. Luis worked with us to find a contemporary setting that we both liked and then he used all the stones in the ring. It came out beautiful. My fiancée fell in love with the ring. Now we have a ring that is unique and incorporates her grandmother's ring too. It is awesome. Luis is great to work with, super responsive and really wants you to have what you want. Wife was very, very happy with the results and that made me a very happy man. The job was completed earlier and at a lower cost than what we were advised when we went in for the estimate. Who wouldn't like that? The results were amazing. The thirty-two year old rings now look brand new - the gold and diamond sparkled. The recommendation we got to solder the two rings together was a great one. My wife loves the "one" ring concept. And best of all - the ring(s) now fit perfectly on my wife's finger. Luis let me look at several rings he had in the store, but because of the size of my mount, he said it would need to be a custom band that would be first made in wax. I returned to see the first band that had been designed in wax and with a few changes, the design was set to go. I was very pleased with the finished product. I drove from New Braunfels to his location only after reading the reviews on Angie's List. I have only lived in this area for about a year and was hesitant to go anywhere until I read the reviews for Rialto Jewelry. I love the finished product and Luis was easy to work with.

When I picked up my ring I was delighted. It looks brand new! I've had that ring since 1996 and it looks like I just purchased it.

After reading reviews for Rialto we decided to have them look the ring over. Weldon and Luis checked it and gave us a price for repairing the prongs or a new mounting which cost a little more than repairing the ring. We decided on the new mount. The ring was ready in in 3 days and it looked great. The new mount made the diamond sit a little higher giving it more light so it really sparkles. The ring was cleaned and looks so shiney now. The customer service was great. Thanks Luis and Weldon for making my wife very happy.

My ring was ready on the date promised. I knew this wouldn't return my ring to its exact prior state as it showed the wear of 60 years and this was a very detailed restoration. However, it turned out beautifully and as close to what we could envision in it's original state 60 years ago. I even had to ask if they put in a bigger diamond as the restoration with the new petite prongs enhanced the stone to perfection! I am beyond relieved and so happy to have this beautiful ring to one day pass on to my daughter. Thank you to Luis and the professionals at Rialto!!!

They did a verbal appraisal and were very knowledgable. One thing that concerned me was the appraiser did state there was some minute damage to the diamond in the ring due to how it was set but I was skeptical because diamonds are one of the hardest substances known and gold which the ring was made of one of the softest. He asked me after the appraisal what would I sell my ring for so I suspect the "damage" he found was to set up the negotiation for the sale of the ring. I did not want to sell the ring so this was a mute point. A subsequent full written appraisal did not reveal any "damage". Others who may be interested in selling to this business I would recommend having a valid appraisal before arriving.

He is custom designing a ring. He has custom designed several pieces for us and the work is excellent. The price is very good. He also has a good variety of jewelry in his shop from affordable to very elite. Louise is very personable. I think that's what makes his shop different from others. He is very honest. He is very timely and we actually contributed gold to one of the rings and we had a drop of gold left over. He went ahead and told us and showed us how much it was for him to buy it back, or he could return it to us. I don't think other jewelers would've bothered with that. High integrity.

Luis took his time (on his day off even) to guide me through the decision process. In the end, I ended up deciding on a necklace that was at their Alice store, but I needed it the next day. Luis pulled through again and got it to me on time & saved the day! Much better experience than anything you'll get in one of the box stores. I cannot recommend Luis enough. I went to several Jewelry stores looking to upgrade my wedding ring, and I am a pretty picky guy. It had to be just right.... ALL of the other places basically handed me a catalog. The ones they had in stock, with design I like were not wide enough, and made my fingers look fat. I discovered Luis through a friend of mine....and I am glad I mentioned it to her, as I had just about given up. Luis listened to what I was saying, knew what I wanted, and asked me to come back the next day @ 2pm. He ordered in a ring for me to see, and it was perfect. The design I liked, and just a little wider than normal, but not too thick. The moment I saw it, I knew it was what I had been looking for. Go to Luis at Rialto Jewelers. You will love the service.

They were fabulous! I was apprehensive about having my ring resized, so I used Angie's List for help on who to take it to. Rialto's came highly rated and I understand why. They were friendly, professional, and did an excellent job. I was also pleased with the cost of the repair. I took my ring in on Tuesday and picked it up the next day. I would definitely use them again.

I got hold of Luise to see if he could make a matching set of two tone gold wedding bands with designs that we were looking for. He told us he could do it. I thought it might be very costly but was surprised to find out he doesn't try to hose people with special requests and time frames. The staff was friendly and professional at all times. They kept us informed during the whole process. They gave us suggestions and options about the look and designs and never went through with anything without our approval. We received our rings in just about two weeks and that includes the 2 diamond rings my wife purchase to compliment her wedding band that had to be special ordered also. The quality of service and product we received from them was top notch!!! We received a photo album detailing the whole process from beginning to end (nice touch). My wife and I will continue to see these people when we have more needs. I truly believe that if these people can not please you, than you just can't be pleased.

The experience was worth the drive. When we searched for someone to resize an engagement ring, Rialto Jewelry's name kept coming up. It was a little out of our way but the experience was well worth the extra drive. We were greeted cordially and professionally. After evaluation, we were told the ring would be ready by Friday and true to their promise it was and it was beautiful. Very well done and the cost was extremely reasonable. The overall experience was great. We will definitely use them again.

I enjoy quick service, Luis and company delivered. I went in to have my inherited ring repaired (I am very rough on my jewelry). The pricewas very reasonable and the work was done timely. I opted to wait for the repair due to me not wanting to leave my ring overnight. I went to a larger jeweler and they could not deliver this same service. While waiting, I had my other jewely cleaned and Luis identified a worn out prong. That ring was also repaired and rhodium coated. The entire process took less than 45 min. The staff was courteous and prompt, two very important traits I look for in a place of business. Even though Rialto is on the opposite side of the loop for me, whenever I need jewelry services again, I will be returning to Rialto.

I have found my new jeweler and won't take my items to anyone else! I brought several pieces of jewelry to Rialto Jewelry to get a feel for how they operate. Very quickly, I felt confident and comfortable with Luis. He thoroughly cleaned and appraised several pieces of jewelry including a 90 year old diamond engagement ring. He extended the size of a 14k yellow gold wedding band that had a very intricate, braided Celtic design. The only option was to add yellow gold, and he explained exactly how he would go about doing this before he even began the work. The finished product is impeccable with absolutely NO sign of where the gold was added. I was very impressed with this given the intricacy of the Celtic design, so I decided to ask Luis about custom designing a wedding ring set for me... something I have been considering and "shopping around" for 2 years. I already had the center diamond, and it's worth noting that most jewelers will not accept a diamond fromt the outside AND stand behind their work. Luis guided me through the process of designing a wedding ensemble over the course of approximately 5 weeks (the extended time was due in large part to my availability). We first started by having a conversation about what I liked and didn't like... proceeded with trying on some models... and then he went to work. He thought of things I would have never thought to provide, and asked me questions at every step. He drew a sketch of the ring, and we made more adjustments. When we got to something that felt right, he did a CAD drawing and emailed me pictures... and we made more adjustments. He made recommendations (which I appreciated), and ultimately took the finished draft of the CAD drawing and created a wax mold. He even brought me back tot he store so that I could see sizes of diamonds that would flank either side of my center stone (I'm terrible at visualizing and need to see something tangible). When we got to a good mold, he created the ring and had me approve it before he placed the diamonds. When I picked the ring up a few days later, I was incredibly happy. I've been wearing the ring for 1 month, and I get at least 3 compliments a week on the design and/or brilliance of the ring. I went to some of the larger jewelrs in San Antonio, and going forward I will only go to Rialto. I could not be happier!
