Charles Loveless and his crew did a fantastic job from start to finish. They completed a full makeover of our guest bathroom to include removal of old tub and replacement with a beautiful tiled shower, upgraded plumbing, replaced commode, new lighting, new hardware, retiling of shower and floor, new wood doors on linen closet and repainted walls. Also installed new granite countertop. Their work was timely, resulted in quality work and I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Charles Loveless was professional, thorough and even pointed out things to improve esthetics that I hadn't considered.

Walking around my house a few months ago was depressing. So many things to fix. Tons of gaps on my Hardy Plank, problems with rotting wood facia boards, the list goes on. The exterior of the house just looked shabby. It was enough to make me want to move. Now...so much better. Amazing job by Renovate, Paint & Design. After removing my gutters they found several spots of rotting facia board and fixed them good as new. During the repair they found rot on a few of my roof boards. These were fixed for a very very reasonable price - the rotten sections were cut out and replaced without needing to replace shingles. The prep work was thorough and very well done. When I asked the crew to go back over a few spots they missed they were happy to do it. RPD used quality materials and the workmanship was first rate. The owner was really patient with us as we picked out colors and his consulting and advice were valuable. All the items in my back yard were properly covered to protect from over-spray and the paint work was done right. When the work was completed we walked the perimeter and had a few items on the punch list. These were fixed without fuss - the entire crew was great. Responsive and helpful. All of them seemed committed to do quality work. I couldn't be more pleased. I find myself pulling into the driveway and just staring in disbelief at how good the house looks (better than new in fact). I have recommended this company to co-workers. Will definitely ask them to bid on my future renovation project.

Started off great with punctual arrival for free estimate (gave a written estimate through email!). Estimate was much lower than 2 previous estimates I had received. Started and finished my job (painted and repaired all exterior stucco cracks) on time. Did a final walk through for any touch ups that I saw fit prior to payment. Great communication throughout the process. Very professional.

The job went very good. The workers were on time and professional. Owner showed up to spot check and answer any questions or suggestions I had. The job took three days and finished ahead of schedule. Everything was cleaned up and the house looks great.

I received estimates from three contractors. Renovate Paint and Design was not the most or the least expensive; however, my reason for going with them is I felt Charles was very professional. I felt comfortable that he would do what he said and I would be happy with the results. I wasn't disappointed. I like the fact that they worked with me on trying a few different color samples, that they understood when I had to wait for HOA approval and also when they paused the project when I took a trip. They showed up on time each day and the painters picked up after themselves so there was no trash or materials left in my yard overnight. I am happy with the end result, the house looks great.

The whole process went very smoothly, we are super happy with the work provided by RP&D. The crew was very polite and handled any issues we had quickly. We definitely will be calling them again when we need more work done on our home. I highly recommend this company!

Charles Loveless inspected our house, then he gave me a printed estimate of the work. He did all of the work that was described at the estimate that he had given. We paid for the cost of the paint which was approx. $1000, we did not pay the additional $4000 until the work was done & we were able to do a walk around of the finished job. The crew was very professional & clean. They did an EXCELLENT, PROFFISIONAL job at a reasonable price!

the companies execution of the project, attention to detail, and customer service were excellent. The owner made several visits during the painting process to review the employees work. They appeared to have a positive working relationship. I was pleased with the results and will certainly use them again

We had an hour long pre-color consultation which was really helpful. Carlos really knows about colors and what looks best with floorings. They didn’t charge any extra for repairs from holes and nails. There are some complicated angles throughout the attic area which they did great. We thought that the cost was very reasonable given the estimate for the cost and the time frame. The owner, Carlos, would come to check on the job and the crew. They completed the job in exactly one week which is the time frame that they estimated. The painting job was very precisely done. They were extremely neat and covered all of our furniture and belongings. They arrived early for the job, the work very thorough, and they cleaned up at the end of each day. His foreman was very professional. She did an amazing job and the work overall really transformed our house. We were extremely satisfied with the work that they did. It was really a pleasant experience. We plan on having them come back to also paint the exterior of our home.

They're great. They're really good. I would recommend them highly. They did an outstanding job. They did exactly what they said. They helped us with the paint selection. They were neat in putting the paint on. They cleaned up completely afterwards and then they came back and checked on our satisfaction. It was a very pleasant experience. Their price was very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone.

The company answered my inquiry call right away and scheduled Charles Loveless to come over and provide an estimate. The appointment was right away. On the telephone, I was asked if I am planning to sell my house. I responded "no." The next day Charles Loveless came over, right on time to our appointment. Very nice and professional. We went through the several little jobs that I needed done (painting, flooring, some electrical work). Mr. Loveless again asked me if I was planning on selling my house. I again responded "no." Mr. Loveless then advised me he'd email me an estimate. I never heard from him again. Upon more review of Renovate Paint and Design's literature, I found that Mr. Loveless is a Realtor. I am left to guess that my job was too small (?), or his company is really a front for his Realtor business, and he wasn't going to get a listing out of it. I just would have appreciated someone just telling me that up front rather than wasting my time. Update 3/22/14: After posting this review, I heard from the company owner who said he had the wrong email address for me, which is why I never heard from them. Okay, I'll change my review, but I've already taken my business to a place where they didn't allow their customer to get lost in a black hole in the internet!

We have used Charles Loveless and his team previously. They had painted the entire exterior of our home, plus making some carpentry repairs [September, 2011 - refer to my Angie's List review back then]. This time it was some of our main interior rooms [living room, dining area, foyer, two hallways]. There were two different colors selected [thru Sherwin-Williams], plus the semi-gloss for the crown mouldings, baseboards, and interior doors. Barbara was the onsite team supervisor, and was physically present or available throughout the project. We had considered some other interior painters on Angie's List, with "Big Deal" coupons, but we trusted Charles and his team - though they were a bit more expensive. From the very beginning of this project, the team was punctual, professional, had a respect for our home and our time. They finished within the original time period specified [about two full days]. All clean up was thorough! After my wife and I made a follow-up "walk through" of the project, we took photos and made a list of "touch-up" issues; not surprising for a job like this. Charles and Barbara reponded within 48 hours and personally took care of all of the little details!! We are very satisfied and pleased and would definitely use them for finishing the rest of our interior painting, plus possible bath remodeling. We highly recommend "Renovate Paint and Design"!

Excellent - I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Charles is polite, thorough, honest, and is very helpful. His crew was great - very polite, clean, and made sure we knew what they were doing at all times. We had them repaint and in prepping the house, they found a spot on the roof that needed repair and they repaired a door frame as well. During the week of painting, they cleaned up every evening and were respectful and careful of our home. When he came for the final walking inspection, he had already identified 3 things they needed to do, had his crew there and they made sure it was done right. I highly recommend them and will have them back again for future work.

Overall very pleased. No project this size is without hiccups but RPD was very involved, very responsive, and got it right! Would definitely use again!

Charles came out to give me an estimate, and then the week before start date, we met to verify paint colors and go over time line for completion of project. Charles came out each day to check on the progress, see if there were any concerns. He paid attention to details and answered all questions I had. Barbara (supervisor of crew) was wonderful...very helpful and made sure everything was going as I anticipated. Any questions I had were answered completely and the work was done with attention to details, exceptional care, quality and professionalism. Crew--very polite, hard working, cleaned up very well; asked me to check to make sure things were done as anticipated. I had the exterior painted by Charles and crew in 2007 and I am delighted with the work once again in 2013.

They did a very good job of painting! We did have a communication misunderstanding as they had painted most of the house and not asked me about the color. However, that was not a big concern for me. It was only more of an honest misunderstanding. They did leave some paint behind that I thought they should have noticed. Even to this day, there is paint on my hose. The paint job is excellent and they did a very good job. I had no concerns with anyone who was here. They were very polite. Their pricing was very good and I thought it was very fair. They even said that before we sold our home, they could come back and touch up the paint. Overall, I don’t have really any complaints.

He is really good. He checks the work and makes sure that everything is done right so that you don’t have to worry about it.

Southern Painting did an excellent job with the repair and painting of my home. Charles Loveless was on time for the appraisal and provided me with good information on the type of paint to use and why. His price was fair and reasonable. I got three estimates for the job and one was about what Charles quoted me while the other was 3 times the price Charles quoted. There was a minor mix up on the start date. I was told one day and the crew were told a different day so I was waiting for them to start and no one showed up. After that was resolved they showed on time and competed the job in the prescribed time that I was told. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves without any prompting from myself. The paint job was exceptional, actually better than I anticipated. By trade I have an eye for details and could not find one area where I thought they did a "quick" job as compared to a good job. Even one year later I still am amazed at what a great job they did not missing a spot and no streaks or unsightly runs. I would certainly recommend Souther Painting they did the job right at a fair price and did it right the first time which today is a rare claim!

From start to finish - Great. Charles , the owner, made the initial inspection of our needs and provided the original estimates [about April or May, 2011]. Due to some health concerns on my part, I had to wait until September, 2011 to initiate the work. There were some weather delays, but, other than that, the crew showed up on a timely fashion, were very professional, respectful of our property; and, complteed the project within the appropriate time frame. I requested some additional work, since I added an additional outside storage shed- which they matched to our house color. Wer are considering the interior painting of our home as well. If we do, we will most assurdely use Southern painting [Charles Loveless]. By the way, this company was recommended to us my our next door neighbors, that also had their exterior painted about a year ago. They were also very pleased!
