Renewal by Andersen of San Antonio

Product was very good, but customer service was awful. Ordered doors in August 2022. However the first door to arrive was damaged. To their credit they did not remove old door and I waited for a replacement. I was offered “compensation” for the long wait. After inquiring, no one ever got back to me with what that compensation would look like. Doors FINALLY installed in April (however no compensation). If financing through the company, read contract carefully!!! The sales person stressed that I would not have to pay until the doors were installed. However I was asked to start paying at the 6 month mark even though I did not have the doors. Had to dispute the payment.

Their installation are wonderful but the products are pricey but the installation was excellent.

The installers were fantastic! They were courteous, knowledable, and efficient. All the windows fit perfectly. However the cost was very high but I wanted high quality windows so I would never have to deal with them again!

Extremely happy with Renewal by Anderson and my replacement windows. Our salesperson, Curtis Pierson was very helpful and patient as we asked tons of questions. Susan Goss, in scheduling, was also very helpful and gave us great customer service. We were so pleased with our installers, Nate Wiggins and Colton. They arrived on time each day and had great communication skills. They were meticulous in their work with great attention to detail and cleaned up their work area each day. I’m very picky about trim work and caulking, etc. and I would absolutely have both these guys back to work on my house again. Top to bottom, we have been extremely pleased with Renewal by Andersen and plan on having them back to do our doors and slider as well (we’re asking for Nate & Colton again!). Replacement windows are not cheap, but when you work with a company like this you get a quality product with quality workmanship and quality customer service. Highly recommend!

Installation of 7 replacement windows completed in 3 days. They covered the floor, furniture and even the ground outside. Did a great job of keeping things clean & organized during the project. Great job by Scott & Nick on replacing two headers with a single one to open our sunroom up to the outside world!!

The Renwal by Andersen group was very easy to work with, make adjustments to the work order, and receive accurate advice when issues came up. Yes, their product can be expensive, but having worked in the home building industry for several years I’ve experienced all kinds of cheaper outcomes. Very few of them were worth the time a customer would have to spend with them. Why? Because their window and door seals would fail....at a minimum. Sometimes the cheaper products would fail due to bird strikes which is common in some residential areas. RbA, on the other hand builds very substantial products and hires experts like. James Hunter Townsend and his crew to do the installation. Townsends crew, incidentally, is so good that they found several issues that had to be corrected to ensure the windows would fit and operate securely. That was absolutely incredible to me because this house was built by a well-known customer builder who had an excellent reputation, Sitterle Homes. So, if you want to invest your money and your time in an excellent product, contact Renewal by Andersen.

Martin Gonzales was very professional and took time to explain install process. Answered all my questions and made minor adjustments as needed to fit my needs.

Hunters crew was punctual, hard-working, and efficient. They did a fabulous job replacing our windows and we would ask them back.

Everything went smoothly. I was very impressed by the crew and salesperson. Everyone wore a mask and every day the crewed cleaned up. Brian kept us informed as to what windows would be replaced each day. Annie, sales rep, told us what to do before the crew came--move the furniture 3 ft from the windows and remove the pictures from the walls. The work was completed in 3 days.

Contact with Renewal by Anderson went smoothly from first contact, Jeff-consultant, to Hunter's Crew who worked hard for 2 days replacing all windows in our home. We were impressed with the whole process, the courtesy, efficiency, and knowledge of everyone involved. The product is EXCEPTIONAL! We love our new windows! It went well. Ordering was easy, Door was custom-made for our dimensions, shipped to the warehouse and scheduled for installation against our timeline. Martin and Mary came over and did a professional job of removing the old door, installing the new door and providing a thorough cleanup. They were pleasant and thorough, finishing in about 5 hours. We went over the operation of the door and when to expect the scheduling for door staining, trim painting and any touch up work which may be needed. Paint samples from walls were taken, and I was contacted within a day for the above work. So far, I’m very pleased with the quality of the door, the improvement of the view outside and the sound reduction from passing traffic.

Complete professionals. Excellent craftsmen. Both wife & I working from home offices, and they were very considerate of that. Big kudos to Hunter & his team. Most excellent work.

Brian M. and his team are outstanding in every respect. They arrived promptly each day at the time they indicated. They worked diligently and efficiently to complete their work each of the four days they were on site. Each day they cleaned up the site ensuring not to leave any debris overnight. My interactions with Brian and his team were enjoyable and professional. It is clear that they work well together and enjoy their work. The product of their camaraderie and enjoyment of their work is what can only be called modern craftsmanship. Retrofitting the windows and doors in our home was not a simple task, but the completed product is beautiful and fits seamlessly into the character of the existing structure. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the final product. While I do not have any experience with Renewal by Andersen's local competition, I can say that you may find another contractor who can replace your windows for less, but I am doubtful you will get the same level of service. Furthermore, I am fairly certain you will not get the same quality product and warranty provided by Renewal by Andersen. I would definitely work with Renewal by Andersen again, and I would enthusiastically recommend them to my friends, family, and to you!

Scott and Nick did an incredible job. They kept a perfect jobsite and were careful to cover floors and furniture. They moved furniture when needed to get to the windows. The windows changed the house. This is my second time utilitizing Renewals by Anderson and believe they are the best window company in San Antonio.
