Ready Set Redesign

I purchased the 1 hr design consultation. Scheduling the appointment was no problem and Diane showed up when she said she would. She was very polite and friendly, however I didn't get many ideas out of the consultation. She suggested we reposition an armoire in the master bedroom which looks better than before but the consultation was not as fruitful as what I expected. I thought there would be more tangible recommendations. Although I didn't get much out of the 1 hr big deal, I would be open to working with Diane in the future.

It may have been a misunderstanding on my part. She was prompt and professional, I liked her.

I waz amazed and impressed with both servicez we used Diane for! On her first visit, she helped us rearrange and decorate the main living area in our house. She used things we already owned but made the room look totally different and more inviting and cozy. We were so impressed! The second time Diane came out was to help us set up and arrange our new house when we moved. She and her crew were able to unpack and arrange our house in one weekend, making it completely livablein those 2 days. We provided input about our preferences and she did the rest. It was amazing!! I would totally recommend her services to anyone. She is super easy to work with and a joy to be around!

When I called the provider to schedule the appointment, there was a two-week wait time. Then, the day before the appointment, she called to cancel. The next appointment available wasn't for nearly two more weeks, but I did make the apointment and met with the provider. I was looking for an interior design plan. I expected the designer to take measurements, listen to my ideas and return with a complete plan. I thought this would be one of several visits, which I planned to pay for, of course, to take my design from planning to fruition. Instead, this is basically a "rearranging the furniture" kind of service. The provider had no suggestions regarding what to purchase or where to purchase it from, which materials to use, etc. I thought the desgner would be trained and certified in interior design. She didn't use a computer to create a design that could be kept to work off, but, basically, drew lines on the floor for where she thought things should go (The room had just been built and the wood subfloor was the only floor in place, so she drew on that). To her credit, she did tell me, at the beginning of the consultation that she was not an interior designer, that she doesn't use a computer or any kind of design program and that the entire project would be competed before she left, that day. She also pointed out this information was essentailly provided on the paperwork she had emailed me. Unfortunately, I didn't fully understand how limited the service was, until I met with the provider. The service that was proposed did not meet my expectations and I did not proceed.

Very professional but many of the ideas were not realistic

good Karma with provider on the site, clear understanding of what was needed, and carpet selection insights , but larger paint swatches were ordered and did not arrive in a timely way. Contacted provider and they were reordered and eventually arrived much later than desired. Timely follow-up to schedule initial consultation.

She was very nice and quite knowledgeable. She was professional and courteous. However I asked her to help me get ideas without a major redesign of the space. But, she was quite persistent in providing me with ideas which would require a complete change in the layout of my downstairs. Therefore, the time was not a useful as I hoped. I would add that because she did not spend an entire hour on the process, she helpfully asked if there were other things she could look at for me in other areas of the house so that I could get my money's worth. I appreciated her customer service.

I was looking forward to working with.a decorator for the first time. Her ideas were tired and old school. I was looking for fresh forward modern ideas. We rearranged some furniture and lived with it for a week, then moved it back the way it was.

She spent a couple of hours on the job. It was very detailed. She left me with good notes and discussions based on her advise. She also said I could email her photos and she would give follow up on the changes that were made.

Very pleasant, easy to work with and knowledgeable. Tastes were different than mine so will go a different route but she offered some good advice.

The consultation went well, although not many new ideas were discussed. Mostly my plans were given a thumbs up!

It went well...I really liked the representative (owner). She gave me tips that made me wish I had hired her sooner, than later.

Due to our success in our first meeting I hired Diane to come back and work with me on choosing the paint colors, tile, carpet and flooring and her ideas about opening up my kitchen for light and additional storage space. I am " very pleased" with the results, Diane was able to design a harmonious flow of colors through out the house using her knowledge of Feng Shui. Diane's ideas about opening up the wall between the living room and kitchen for better lighting turned out brilliantly and I now have light where once it was just dark and a very nice new counter/bar area. Diane listen to my needs and my budget and with that in mind she work with me to design a remodel that went beyond what I expected and I couldn't be happier with the results. i would highly recommend Diane's she created something short of a miracle with my 30 year old house that now looks and feels warm, harmonious, comfy and relaxing.

She was very professional. The problem is that she started out with a design using something I did not want. I told her that I definitely didn't want it, and she didn't listen. She told me the reasons she was using it, and proceed to finish the layout, which was completely not what I wanted.

I found Ready Set Redesign on Angie's List. I went to the business website and viewed pictures of her work. I emailed her through her website, asking some simple questions about logistics of having her come to my new home. I never heard back from her. I sent a second email, and I also left a voice mail, but I never received a returned email or phone call.

We found her suggestions very helpful.

I forgot I had purchased the service and failed to use it before it expired.

It went well. The lady that came out was affiliated with one of the design shows on HDTV. She was fine. That was more for my wife than for me. She came in and spent some time going over some things with me. It was fun and she drew up some plans for us on paper. She did a good job for us. It was definitely worth the $69. She was easy to deal with and schedule the appointment with her. She showed up on time, which is always a good thing. If we had work that required consultation, I would use her again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. I decided to purchase the deal because of the price.

I purchased the services through big deals. Diane called me within minutes of emailing her for an appointment time. She arrived on time and we spent over four hours discussing how I use the rooms, what furniture and art work I wanted to use and window treatments. Within a week I reframed/rematted two pieces of art and hung them for immediate results. Diane showed me the best location for display; I had never even considered hanging them there!! She helped me decide on a desk for the loft area and suggested painting one wall as an accent wall and putting the desk on an angle. Again, immediate results and the desk we selected was half the price and a better choice. Following our session she mailed paint samples for me to test. Diane really listened to what my preferences were but always offered additional options to consider. I was looking for new ideas and Diane had lots. The money I saved by reusing items I already had paid for the service.

She gave a designer perspective of how to redecorate the kitchen, dining room and living room. She gave a perspective with current furniture and some to be added furniture. The time was short, we could have talked for hours regarding design and practical ideas. She fashioned the summary primarily on my vision then she added her ideas to the mix. Because our project was very large and expensive, we work on it one step at a time and continue to do so.

She gave me confidence in choosing what I liked in my home. I didn't like all of her suggestions, but she really gave me the freedom to play with my own style. I felt like I didn't really need her to return after she spent several hours with me, because I felt more confident having a professional's stamp of approval on a lot of the choices I had made. She did give me lots of great ideas on how to freshen up some of the furniture I had.

She visited the home and was able to provide advice on how to arrange a new furniture set and what accessories she would recommend to make the room really pop. You can't go wrong using her services.

Dianne had many helpful ideas for the arrangment of our great room, many we had not thought of and some of which we have been able to implement. She was a bit judgemental of our current decorating which is perhaps my only complaint.
