Description of Work: Diane was absolutely professional and an expert at interior design. She assisted with choosing a master plan for my kitchen which gave me the confidence to finalize the project. With this interior design plan I saved myself from making costly mistakes.

Description of Work: Ready, Set, Redesign provides a consulting service to those needing help in achieving their home design/redesign goals. We needed help with our open-plan living and dining room and the owner, Diane Haignere, delivered. We enjoyed the interaction, we feel that the consultation fee was fair and appropriate, and we would recommend her without hesitation.

Description of Work: Diane assisted me in rearranging furniture and accessories in my home to create the most wonderful and comfortable design. She also made recommendations for a few purchases that would complete the project. We worked together for nearly 6 hours and I couldn't be any more pleased. She has a excellent eye for scale and balance in a room. She has such a comfortable demeanor that put me instantly at ease that made working together fun and productive. I highly recommend Diane and Ready Set Redesign!!

Description of Work: In the end, she helped me select the colors for the walls in my master bedroom, bathroom, and closet and a second bedroom. I wanted her opinion about what color would work well, but I got the sense that she was using items around the room that I would like to use as a color plan. I realized later that she picked a painting that I hate and went with those colors. I don’t feel like I emphasized enough that I wanted a fresh look and to not go off of something in my room as they could have been replaced. It was my fault that went with the plan but I wouldn’t use her again.

Description of Work: Unfortunately I was not able to use the service I purchased. It expired before I could set the appointment. I found it difficult to use the process, it just did not work out for me. I put in the approximate date of the expiration date of the service purchased, just so Ic could add these notes, as it was a required field. I kept getting requests for a review from Angie's List, and I wanted them to stop.This is not a reflection on the service provider. I put in a grade of C just to get through the review, as there was not a choice for N/A, which there should be.

Description of Work: Talked prior to appointment and had me prioritize what I wanted her to look at/evaluate. When she arrived we spoke briefly and went through several areas of my home. She had concrete suggestions & I wrote them all down (furniture placement, lighting). Made color recommendations and sent color samples post visit. Used resources that I already have as opposed to suggesting all new items etc. very professional. Very responsive

Description of Work: She spent a good deal of time and gave me all the paint samples. I just did the foyer and dining room and upstairs landing and everything. She gave me some ideas for how to make my house pop if I want to sell it, which is one of the reasons I had her come out.

Description of Work: This was a one-hour special advertised through Angie's List. Diane arrived on time , reviewed remodeling/redecorating plans for several rooms, drew a sketch of a major bathroom remodel (removing a whirlpol tub and installing double sinks, at our suggestion) and helped us with some miinor furniture rearranging in our Great Room. She made some good suggestions for rearranging framed pictures from one room to another where they made more sense. She made sure that we understood her ideas and was sympathetic to our needs and tastes. She actuallu spent about 90 minutes with us to make sure that we were pleased with her services.

Description of Work: The woman who came to my house was very nice, especially because when I got home from work, my dog had gotten very sick and she was supposed to be at my house any minute. She was on time and I was horribly embarrassed, but she was understanding. We chose some paint colors and rearranged one room in my house. We have since put the room back the way it was, because it did not seem to make sense the way she designed it, at least for what our needs are. There was a lack of personal feel overall, but how much can you truly accomplish in one hour?

Description of Work: Interview to assess my goal of the atmosphere I wish to create with decorating. Gave suggestions on what items to keep and where to arrange them in order to acheive this atmosphere. Suggestions were economical and minimal work to acheive what I wish to create. Most of the furnishings I already have were worked into a plan and best places to find other items to buy were suggested. Was done in less than an hour and we went over changes to make to my whole downstairs floor area. Diane was also very sympathetic to how items to let go of would be a little difficult for me but was encouraging and clear to keep only what I cherish and love. She really understood some underlying issues toward acheiving the atmosphere I need to get back to being comfortable in my own home.

Description of Work: Diane is very approachable, very warm and friendly, very professional, and full of energy and ideas. She was also very responsive to my needs, changing an appointment when something unforseen arose. My first floor, which is an open floor plan containing a utility room, living room, dining room, sunroom, kitchen and foyer, needed to flow into each other but also be distinctive areas. She was able to give suggestions for flooring, furniture placement, and wall color to maximize the smooth flow from one area to another and had ideas I never would have thought of but which make perfect sense. When a suggestion wouldn't work for me, she was able to give alternate ones, and I am very excited to incorporate her ideas into my home. I would recommend her most highly and will use her again.

Description of Work: Diane met with us in our home for an hour. We asked her to give us a plan for the most bang for our buck to update and repair our kitchen and family room areas. She was great! She gave us specific recommendations including paint colors. When she left we had a list of to-do's, that have since been done. The rooms look great.
