We tried different pictures in new places, considered paint colors to work with the panelling, and looked at pictures in my catalogs. Diane made suggestions from the drapes and rugs and furniture pictured there, and suggested other items such as lamps and light fixtures.

It was a good meeting and gave us many ideas. We have implemented a few of them. I would work with Diane again.

I've always desired a Feng Shui designer to design the interiors of my home. Angie's Big Deal gave me the opportunity to realize this dream with the reduced cost of the appointment. The appointment was power packed. It was very valuable!

Diane is very professional, approachable and at the same time very fun to speak with. She's enthusiastic which makes you optimistic about your home project. I have been living at a hotel for a month due to a fire and found out I was under insured. With a minimal budget to fix my condo, I was afraid I'd make a mistake on wall paints and countertops. I was going to change my laminated countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms but she knew I had a limited budget so she worked around my countertops to save money. In the beginning, I thought, if she thinks my countertops can still be saved, I must be making a mistake here. But------ as she started choosing paint colors and backsplashes and making me visualize her design, I became excited and now, can't wait to finish my project. She walked around the condo with me and checked every room/bathroom/kitchen and living area including foyer and hallway. She suggested colors for floors, walls and cabinets. She is awesome and I will definitely hire her again once I have my furniture back so she can help me arrange them. Some people asked me if it was worth paying for an interior designer. I say, yes! If you have a budget for a home renovation or if you're just updating, you wouldn't want to spend your money and realize at the end that you made a mistake on paint colors and nothing seems to match. What Diane made me realize is that even if you like the colors royal blue, lime green and orange, that doesn't mean they'll look good on walls. The shades and color tones should match and compliment each other. In other words, it was worth the fee I spent hiring Diane. I will definitely contact her again.

Flexible scheduling and prompt. A++

I had been thinking about how to decorate my living room for a couple of years, but I didn't have a plan. I took advantage of an Angies list deal to book Diane for one hour. When she arrived, we discussed what I was trying to accomplish and she immediately gave me some great ideas. By the end of the session, I had a solid plan, including furniture placement, window treatments, accessories and more. My room looks great, and I got lots of compliments when I hosted our family Christmas gathering. When I get ready to redo my kitchen and eating area, I'm sure I will give Diane a call.

It took two months for the designer to call to make an appointment. She said that it was because the response to the deal was overwhelming. She came to our home and we asked her to help us give our living room a "designer" look. She didn't have much to say about our colors or furniture, etc. She did help us rearrange the furniture and we took down the valance on our drapes. For the most part, we liked the new furniture arrangement, but we made a few small changes after she left. She stayed longer than the two hours and worked really hard in rearranging the furniture. But except that the furniture was moved around, we didn't think the living room looked all that more "professionally" done. We're still using the furniture placement that she suggested, so we think we got at least our $125 worth.

After 20 years in our home, we knew it was time to "update" but didn't have the expertise to know how to begin.When we saw this "deal of the day" on Angie's List, we knew this could be our answer...and it was all that and much more!Diane arrived with a fresh view of our home and, through her insightful questions, was able to assess our personal goals.After a tour of the entire house, we began a room by room assessment of what worked and didn't work. By combining Diane's expertise and our desires, we will soon have the redesigned home we wanted...using our own furniture! It is amazing to us that we can have an updated home by just realocating space and furniture. Diane then brought in paint swatches. She is going to have paint samples mailed to us...big enough to be able to truly assess without using the walls as a palate.So...the only major investment that we will have is paint...and we'll have a "new" home.Diane was professional, with obvious expertise and experience but warm and respectful of our likes and desires.This was probably THE single best experience we've had with an interior designer and we would recommend her to any others on Angie's List who want to have a "new" home without the trauma of moving!

As soon as Diane arrived and after seeing my condo, we sat down and she listened -- really listened! --to my disjointed thoughts. Then, after asking my permission, she started moving pieces around within and between rooms (she did allow me to help her). At the end of our efforts, only a couple pieces remained in their original locations! Diane is a joy to consult with. I was very pleased with the service I received (I haven't changed any of her arrangements, either).

Diane arrived right on time. She was very friendly and very professional. My first thought was how much I liked her outfit. She looked sharp. I told Diane that I wanted ideas on updating my kitchen, how to rearrange my furniture and what I should do in order to help sell my house. We went room by room and Diane gave me a lot of great ideas. I loved her ideas for updating my kitchen. She picked out two new paint colors for downstairs and sent samples to me. Diane gave me so many great ideas within the hour she was here. When she left, I was excited to get started and can't wait to see the results. The one hour consultation more than met my expections. I will definitely call Diane again.

I was very impressed. Not only did she give advice, but she physically helped me move furniture. The shape of the room was a challange, but she did a great job and gave me a vision to work toward.

Diane was prompt, professional and after we talked, we moved furniture together and rehung pictures. She mailed me paint samples for my family.

I was satisfied. Basically we did a walk through because we were thinking about selling the house and I just needed some confirmation that I had already done appropriate things or what she might suggest. It was not as in-depth as what most people get, but she had some good ideas and I didn’t dislike anything that she said.

I felt very comfortable with Diane and enjoyed our time together. I thought she was very professional from the moment I spoke with her on the phone and during our meeting. Unlike the experience of some others, I thought she looked great. I felt she heard me, integrated a lot of information, and responded to all of my ideas and concerns.

When Diane arrived, the first thing I noticed was that it did not appear that her hair had been washed or that it was wet. Soon into our conversation, she mentioned that she had paint in her hair and that she was having trouble getting it out. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but it did not appear she was fully prepared for the visit. I recognize that some creative people are not polished, and sometimes, it's more important to make the appointment rather than to be put together as you might have wished, but the first impression was less than expected. We live in a neigborhood of homes where many are valued at over a million dollars. I am accustomed to decorators who arrive in sharp clothing and are well groomed - giving me that first glimpse that they are confident and know how to put things together. I sincerely regret to disparage someone who is trying to make a living and may not have adequate resources, but to be clear, if someone advertises a regular rate of $150 per hour, I would expect that their appearance would reflect that income. Secondly, when you are on Anglie's list, one needs to be especially consciencious about their appointment from beginning to end - so that consumers are confident that they will be getting their money's worth at that rate. I have used a dozen different decorators and unfortunately, Diane was unable to offer anything new or interesting to my project. I do not believe her skill set reached this level of home decoration.

She came in and rearranged some things we already had. She was helpful and nice to talk to.

At the end of the Feng Shui consultation, I was left with a cartoonish "bagua" drawing without any practical application. Complete waste of $99 and two hours of my time. She is using Feng Shui as an add on service to her interior design, however her Feng Shui knowledge is basically something that can be gleaned from a basic dummies book series.

The consultation went well beyond what we had hoped to accomplish. Diane is very professional, knowledgeable and very personable. She gave us a great deal of hope in improving the look of our house.

Called Diane Haignere of Ready Set ReDesign the first week of April. Wanted to have her help me decide what to do with my once formal living room. She called me within a fews days of my call. She asked what I was looking to do. After my short explanation,she scheduled a consult appt. for a week later. She was on time and ready to go. She walked throught my house to get my design taste. Then she asked several questions regarding wants and dislikes. Also how I wanted to use the room. We talked furniture, colors and drapery choices. I had several questions about other rooms . She helped with ideas for the dining room which is across from the once formal living room. We discussed dining room fixtures and entry hall lighting. She gave me insight on furniture arrangements and where other furniture pieces could be placed. She wrote all the needed information about purchasing furniture and her ideas. She gave me pictures of styles that would work for that room. Diane is very personable and easy to communicate with. I had a real fun 2hr. appointment. I would use her services again.
