I will never use them again; I am not happy with them. Mike and his father were the technicians that came to my house. I used them for a number of months and did quite a bit of work with them but I was not comfortable with them. Their work was done but I never knew when he was going to come or he would say he was going to come at a certain time and then come later; he was very unreliable. He was real chatty and friendly but I would rather he had done his job than be friendly.
Description of Work: I used Rainman Irrigation for lawn irrigation. Once they worked on my sprinkler heads and rotors and the bill was over $1,000.

We recently had a pool installed at our home and as part of the process would need to have a new sprinkler system installed. After the completion of our pool we hired Rainman Irrigation. The estimate provided was higher than what we had received from other companies, but we went with them anyway because we were wanting the work done sooner than the other companies we spoke to would be available. The quote states "Install 7 - 8 NEW zones throughout front and back yard. Using head to head coverage and allowable pressure". We had a previously existing sprinkler system and part of it was not damanged by the pool excavation equipment; however Michael Galvan, when bidding the job indicated that he could not tie into the existing system because it would leak at the point where the systems were joined. Regardless, at some point during the job Rainman Irrigation decided to tie in their work to what was previously existing despite what was quoted as being "NEW ZONES". We were billed for a new system that was not new and was a mix-match of new and existing despite the fact that the estimator/owner, Michael Galvan, said that we needed a new system and he would not tie into the old because it would leak. That obviously was a sales tactic and not factual. Upon completion of the job, Mr. Galvan contacted me at work to arrange to come by my office to pick up final payment. I indicated that I would like to see the completed job first. When I arrived home I found that there were uncapped pvc pipes sticking up about two feet out of the ground where sprinkler heads should have been. Rainman Irrigation fixed this problem the next day and again Mr. Galvan wanted to come by my office to collect payment, but instead we agreed that he would come to my house that evening to collect payment so I could see the finished work first. Well, that evening Mr. Galvan was notified of the discrepancy between the full sprinkler system that was quoted and the half system that was installed. Mr. Galvan indicted that his crew spent the full amount of quoted hours on the job that was done so he demanded full payment even though only half of the job was delivered. Mr. Galvan argued with my husband about this and would not leave our property. Unfortunately, we ended up paying the full price so he would go away. After the job was completed the pipes came apart at one of the valve boxes and my yard flooded, washing away all of the new top soil I put in. When contacted about the situation Michale Galvan indicated that there were vehciles driven in the yard and that is why the system is broken. This may actually be a plausible explanation had a vehicle been in the yard at anytime after the sprinkler completion. I can count two wheel-barrrows and a mower. I had to hire a REPUTABLE company to come fix mess left by Rainman Irrigation. The irrigation company that fixed Rainman's mistake indicated that the cause of the break was that it was not properly glued together to begin with. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Description of Work: Received a bid for replacement of entire sprinkler system following a swimming pool installation.
