Description of Work: We did not have him do the work for us since I received 2 other quotes from tree services listed on Angie's list and he was double the price. He also quoted my neighbor a very high price compared to other providers so she did not use him either. Always recommend getting at least 3 quotes for every job.

Description of Work: I have ½ an acre of land. It was basically just dirt and weeds and they cleared it all out. Then they put grass in. They put down a lot of granite and then a flag stone as pavers. They also put a lot of gravel in some areas.

Description of Work: Cosme Banuelos and his crew turned a 2300 sq ft back yard disaster with 2 ft tall weeds into a haven for two boxers and us. First, he used a sod cutter to cut all weeds, their stalks and roots out, raked all that away. He leveled the yard, improved drainage by digging the bottom of the fence out all the way around the yard, which was badly eroded due to lack of care and a slight decline away from the house. He then sprayed Behr stain and water repellent (previously purchased) on the entire fence inside and out to help preserve it as long as possible. We had to have a new gate built and he worked well with other contractor waiting to provide staining after gate was built, covered all metal latches/hinges and trees close to the fence with heavy paper and tape to assure oaks weren't damaged. Then his crew put down weed cloth, metal edging and river rock for the side yards and one ft wide areas all the way around the yard to prevent the boxers from digging out (his great idea - they are diggers). Next he laid 34 pavers (previously purchased) over limestone on the gate-side for ease of walking and lawn mower. Then he edged 3 great flower beds for our yard statuary. He then recommended a type of zoygia that requires little water, put down one pallet of grass since we were in stage 2 water restrictions, planted 2 drought hardy plants, covered the rest of the yard with weed cloth and beautiful dark mulch. It turned out absolutely beautiful, functional for the dogs, and drought tolerant. In addition, Cosme and crew trimmed bushes and weeds beyond our back fence so we'd have an easy walk to the walking path behind our home that goes to Salado Greenway. He also moved my landscape lights from the old house (just couldn't leave behind) and worked until 7:30 p.m. until he got all of them and the two spots working properly). He brought back the front yard by spreading compost and trimming the holly in front of the bay window! What a difference it made - beautiful!
