We never received an estimate. Richard came to our home in Medical Center on August 1, 2016. He said he would have the estimate to us by the end of the week. I've tried calling and texting him multiple times to no avail. He was very professional in our face to face interaction, but never returned any communications. While I understand that contractors become busy, we didn't even get the courtesy of saying that the company needed more time to compile the estimate. Communication - or lack there of - speaks volumes of a company's professionalism and character. I would not recommend using Pride flooring because of their inconsistent communications and failure to deliver even a basic estimate. Additionally, as a point of reference, other companies quoted us more than $10,000. This was not a small job, making it even harder to figure out the reason for no estimate.

We had shopped around for carpet to replace our entire downstairs and steps. The last time we put carpet in was almost 11 years ago when we moved in. I thought price was fair and selection was great. Great selection, personable, did not try to oversell. Installer was a very hard worked and awesome at what he does. We had some carpet messed up when we were getting some painting done. I figured we had to re-carpet whole room. We had some good carpet left from the removal of downstairs carpet (same carpet). Richard explained that his installer could replace messed up area and it would work. I was skeptical thinking how on earth are you not gonna be able to tell. OMG, I was very pleasantly surprised. He was quick had the damaged piece out and new piece in and you would not know any different. Saved us a ton of money. Would totally go with this company again for my carpet/wood floor needs.

Workers were on time. Very friendly. Hardworking. Finished on time. Had some areas of concerns but Pride came right back out to ensure I was happy. They even suggested a painter to refinish my baseboards.

Pride Flooring did an excellent job painting my rooms & installing crown molding at my office. I had a great crew that was working with me. They were very professional, hard working, & neat. They worked around my office hours which was a plus. Pride Floors had done previous work on my floors at my home. I would highly recommend Pride Flooring and I will be using them again in the near future.

The job was a large, daunting project that was made easy by Pride Floors and Construction. The initial reason for choosing Pride Floors was the ease of having one company that could truly manage the full remodel job, not just replace our flooring. It's not easy to find a group that are experts at flooring AND can truly remodel and accomplish really anything needed to renovate your home. Richard (owner) was in direct communication throughout the entire project and was never farther than a phone call or text away. I was impressed by the level of work that was performed, as they always made a point to insure that the final outcome was how they would want their own home to look, and took "Pride" in their work. The construction areas were kept clean and workers were always extremely polite and trustworthy. They were timely, and even with unexpected hurdles that come from unknown factors in any home remodel, they were fair in handling changes and overages, flexible with handling my wife's changes mid-stream, and always looked to make sure that we were 100% happy with the outcome. I would definitely recommend them again and will be calling them for future projects and renovations.

Richard and his crew did a masterful job of floor tile and carpeting. This was for a house that we purchased as a rental and we needed to replace the old carpeting. His work quality was simply AMAZING. This was done with us living in another state and Pride floors handled the job start to finish without us needing to managing the job. If you are looking for a flooring contractor that you can trust to do the job right, on time without you micro managing them, don't waste your time going anywhere else. I got bids from 2 other outfits, one of them that has the ads on tv every night and Pride Floors was the best price, superior quality materials and done just right. I don't usually post reviews, and I had no previous contact with Pride Floors ( they were recommended by my realtor), but in this case I feel compelled to thank Pride Floors and hopefully give you a valuable resource for your needs. You will not be disappointed, period.

I got a complete flooring overhall in my living room, kitchen, hallways, den, front bathroom and utility room. Richard was wonderful, and helped walk me through the available products and various costs in the planning process. All of the work crews (tile/hardwood/plumbing/painting) were coordinated so that the entire job was completed timely (3 days total) and professionally. The work crews were extremely respectful (example - music was kept at a minimal level and the work space was very organized). Each evening, they left my home as in-tact as possible, with minimal disruption. They showed up when they were expected to, and left at a decent hour each evening. Richard was responsive and accomodating and worked diligently to ensure I was happy with the final work product. (when I was in the showroom, I even saw some bathroom wall tile that looked incredible!) I will most definitely use Pride Flooring & Construction LLC again in the future and highly recommend that you give Richard a call to come talk to you about your next home project!

Outstanding service and well priced! Very responsive, timely, and professional. They offered an option for repair which was significantly less expensive than another carpet repair company that came out to estimate. The repair was done quickly and efficiently without problems. I would highly recommend this company again.

Everything went very well and we are very pleased. The Owner (Richard) is deeply involved in over-seeing the job and is extremely responsive. The quality of the work was excellent and responsiveness and followup outstanding.

I called them directly for my new investment property. I had called several companies and they had provided me the best deal for the type of quality carpet they showed me. He sent me a snapshot of the carpet via text message. I live in Houston, didnt have time to get to the property until the Superbowl Sunday, so they went ahead and installed the carpet prior to my arrival. When I arrived at the property, I was amazed. The installer was patient with me as I had some special requests to measure and install some tile to wood transition moulding in the walkway area and the kitchen/livingroom area. I paid them in full after the carpet install, trusting them to come back for the moulding. They came back at a later date requested by me without hesitation and installed it as expected. They were very professional, quick, excellent workmanship, accommodating, and good quality carpet.

I cannot say enough good things about Pride Floors and Construction. For many years, I had a vision of what my kitchen and downstairs could look like. Richard, the owner, understood exactly how to bring that vision to reality. Oh, the hardwood floors! Roger (along with his awesome crew) is a true craftsman when it comes to installing these floors. The downstairs of the house is one continuous floor that wraps around a center staircase. That can?t be easy to match up, but he did it. Gorgeous perfection! I wanted to remove a half wall to create an open concept kitchen into the family room. Richard sent Danny over right away to take a look. He confirmed that the wall itself could be removed, but that we may need to leave a single narrow support column, which I agreed would be fine. Danny and Rob went to work a few days later removing the wall as well as preparing to close in a desk area and create a new, larger and customized pantry. They did a wonderful job. The construction meant that there would be several areas that needed to be patched and painted. Santos and the paint crew did a fantastic job. Additionally, Santos brought new life to my outdated kitchen cabinets by painting them off-white. Just beautiful...It looks like I have brand new cabinets. Also in the kitchen, we replaced old Formica with granite counter-tops. Carlos did a wonderful job with the granite and even created a breakfast bar and wrap-around counter which added so much more space. Richard's crew demolished all of the 90's era white tiles in the foyer, kitchen and downstairs bath AND installed new, updated tile in the bathroom. The task was completed all in one day. Richard checked in on us often to make sure all was going as planned. Everyone who worked on this project was very professional and did outstanding work. My home is transformed and I could not be happier! If I could give a grade of A+++ I would! I would recommend Pride Floors and Construction to anyone looking to beautify their home!

They were on time and very helpful! They took pride in their work and completed the job and cleaned up the area and removed all the old carpet. They did a great job installing and they took care with my items and at the end they asked if I needed anything else to reach out and the owner called and followed up to see if I was satisfied with the job they did. I will be calling them soon for tile work.

The entire experience was better than I expected.. Following an extensive leak in the slab of the house all the carpet had to be removed. Richard came in and right away made me feel at ease about the entire project. The tile selected and the final look are more than I could have imagined and his crew was wonderful and I couldn't be happier about how they cleaned up behind themselves which is a welcome relief when you come home from work during the installation. The added stress of this needing to be done before the holiday and the added stress of needing to have everything done prior to going into the hospital for surgery, I just can not say enough. I would recommend them again and again.

Richard and his team were great to work with. We had a good starting point with our newly purchased home, but there were some major areas that needed work. He was very fair in his price estimates and throughout the process stayed very close to all the estimated numbers. We added a few things along the way - as I am sure is the case in many of these major renovations, but Richard and his crew took it in stride and accommodated us without any problems. The original masterbath was a huge mess - the shower had broken tiles and as it turned out - rotted wood in the wall. The team fixed all those things and redesigned the bathroom with a gorgeous walk in shower with "floating" glass and custom vanities. Richard's plumber's did a great job. One day the water in the laundry room was a small leak (pre-existing to the renovation) that turned into a big leak the day the painters were coming. The plumber came out and fixed the problem immediately - no emergency cost - just added the labor and parts. Richard's electrical team did a great job for us and replaced all the existing ceiling fans, smoke detectors and rewired a couple of switches to dimmers and moved a couple of outlets. They were even nice enough to come rewire our dryer when we moved in since our dryer wasn't wired for the existing wall. The upstairs bath was similar in the pre-existiing condition and they were able to transform the shower and jack and jill vanity into a different room. The flooring throughout the house is great. We went with a "wood" tile on the ground floor and I am happy we did. Richard and the team used 1/16th inch spacing and dark grout so that it looks exactly like a wood floor. The carpeting they did was great and Richard found a good product that is quite durable. One highlighted area was that one of the upstairs rooms had been where the previous owner had kept their cats. The carpeting there was urine stained - but what we found out as we progressed in the project was that the floor boards were saturated as well. Without missing a beat - Richard and the team replaced the floor boards. Very minor adjustment made to the overall project cost. The kitchen renovation was done very well. All the countertops were replaced with a new granite and most of the appliances were replaced as well. We provided them with the appliances and they got them all installed. Throughout the process Richard was there on most days and was easily reachable for questions and concerns. My job spans long days and Richard was always available to answer questions in the early evening via phone or text. As well he provided lots of design consultation in terms of color schemes, etc - which is different than the last time we remodeled in our previous home. It took the stress out of the situation to have that kind of eye and help. Richard kept on time and I'd imagine even ahead of schedule since he finished close to the original estimated date - even after we had added a couple of other things to the list. I'd highly recommend Richard and his team - and in fact have on several occasions - 2 of which are working with him currently. We have a few other "wish" list items for the future and without question I will be calling Richard.

Richard was very professional to deal with. His crew was meticulous during our installation. I gave them a B on punctuality because they were late on the first day of the job, but we're on time for the remainder of the project. The job did last longer than we had anticipated, but that was only because we were waiting for new molding to come in.

It was pretty good. There were some areas where they needed to come back and finish. Price was kind of high. I had contacted them numerous of times. I would probably not use them in the future.

The men were prompt arriving, clean, courteous, and totally skilled in what they needed to do. The work was done totally to our satisfaction. We would definitely ask Richard Cavazos and his staff to assist us at any time in the future to install flooring in our home. Top notch company.

Any large job like this is going to have some hiccups, but all in all, this experience was very positive and the outcome is great. Richard and John consistently followed up when they said they would, they were very hands-on related to the work, and the finished and cleaned the house as promised. The wood floors are beautiful, and the new paint throughout really brightens up the house. The house looks brand new! We would definitely use Pride Floors in the future, and highly recommend their services.

Richard was able to get our work done quickly as we had another contractor disappear on us when he was supposed to begin his work. His guys did an amazing job in our master bath, which we needed to have re-tiled to sell. We sold our home very quickly thanks to their great work in the master bath. His workers were on time and Richard came by to check on their work and make sure everything was going smoothly. Richard also gave us the 20x20 tile for the same price as the 13x13 since we were in a time crunch and the 13x13 was out of stock. I would definitely recommend Pride Floors for any future flooring project.

Richard and his team were top notch! Called them for a last minute new carpet install with company coming in to town. They were so nice and got the job done in a few days!! We will use them again when we replace the rest of the carpet in our home!!!

The entire Pride Flooring crew is meticulous, professional, and extremely hard working. Richard and Jonathan came to our home and showed us some samples and took measurements and came back with a very reasonable price. When his crew showed up to work, they draped plastic and cordoned off the areas they were working in to control dust. We had a lot of tile to remove, and these guys worked very hard for 2 days to remove it and level the floor before installing the new stone. The installers were excellent and the new floor looks amazing. Pride Floors isn't the absolute cheapest company in town, but in my opinion, when you're making a long-term investment of this size, price is just one of the factors you need to consider. We couldn't be happier with the service and the results!

Richard installed tile and laminate flooring all throughout the house. He did an excellent job. His workers were very prompt and polite and finished in the time they estimated. I would highly recommend this company. - Susan
