It went very well. They showed me how to keep the pool running, the polaris running and gave us tips on what to do. How to run the spa and the pool

John was punctual and professional. He quoted a price, and explained what he was going to do. We agreed to the price, and he did an amazing job on our pool, especially getting it from green to blue! He also recommended some maintenance that our pool will need in the future. We were very pleased with his work, and we are going to use him on a monthly basis.

John came out to service my pool and made some wonderful suggestions. He is very knowledgable and understands pool ownership in the South Texas conditions. I like his professionalism. his demeanor, and his attention to detail so much that I committed to a pool maintenance agreement for monthly service. John is an excellent resource for pool and spa knowledge and the experience I gained gives me the peace of mind that my pool is in good hands...John will be my pool service provider for a long time. Didn't take me long to understand the "plus" in the name of his company. The "PLUS" is what matters.

They did a nice job. He was prompt and very attentive and gave us good advice about pool cleaning equipment and actually told us what to use.

John arrived on time, fully described our issues, gave us 3 options on how to fix our problem and did ALL the work in 48 hours! This guy is amazing and honest!

John and his partner did an excellent job. They were here when they promised and did all the repairs we needed in line with the estimate provided before starting work. They were professional in every way, and gave us great confidence they wanted to make repairs that were sound, also keeping in mind the cost to us. John followed up a couple of times after the work was done and he was pay to consult with me on getting the pool chemistry back in line as we needed to drain about 2/3 of the pool to fix the plaster crack. We had another pool repair service bid the same job before we found Pool Service First. We didn't get the same level of confidence we got from John, and frankly some of the suggested work seemed unreasonable. We happy we ended up having John do the work, and would highly recommend him to others.

This was my first interactions with this company. When I made the call, the guy came out right away. He gave me a quote while he was here.

He was very courteous and helped out a lot. He was not able to service my area of New Braunfels in the future because it’s too far from San Antonio. He was very thorough and added the proper chemicals to get my pool going.

This is THE VERY BEST Pool Service company I have ever come across. John is a very sincere person. His work ethics is phenomenal and that's obvious in his quality of work. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty. I have a very small pool - but he takes care of my account like he would if it were a big ($$) account. We were exceptionally pleased with the services of this company. John gave us good advice, a very fair price, and responded immediately to our needs and concerns. His crew worked fast and well and the results were excellent. John was not only knowledgeable, he was also very upbeat and friendly. He gave us a lot of information (valuable for us as new pool owners) and quickly and efficiently did minor pool repairs for a reasonable fee. He spotted and repaired deficiencies that other pool experts had overlooked. He also gave outstanding follow-up service. We were extremely impressed and would turn to him again.

John is a consumate professional. I emailed him after seeing his reviews on Angie's List. Within minutes he called me and made arrangements to come out to my home the following week. My pool was a mess and looked like a swamp when he came out. Within 24 hours it was returning to normal. He promised that we would be swimming by the weekend, and we were. He replaced a pool pump for me which had been making so much noise that time outside was not very pleasant. His monthly rate for customers with an automatic pool cleaner is considerably less than anyone else that I have found. He charges $120 per month and that is a breath of fresh air. I would recommend this company to others.

It was $45 to treat the pool to begin with, which was really good because the pool was a mess with all the dirt and debris. They had to come out several times to treat the water and vacuum the mud, so I was very happy with that. I have them on a monthly contract now. His name is John and I am pretty happy with him. This is his business. The price is about $130 a month. He is very friendly and keeps his appointments. He knows what he is doing. I will absolutely continue to use him.

Had a problem around the pool area. Standing water when people were getting out of the pool. Knew what to do and did it. Worth the price paid and solved a problem that needed to be solved. Would recommend them to anyone. Randy

John is very honest and professional. He cares for many pools but seems to convey a genuine interest in his customers.

The work on the filter and the pumps we great. He knows this part of the business. He did a pool inspection and his verbal report did not match what he wrote causing the loss of a sale of the home. He promised to install a pool heater in time for a party and did not show up or return calls. I had to call him from another phone to get him to respond to my messages, when I finally got him he basically blew me off. I think maybe the heater, structural repairs and inspection were above his expertise level. For a good backyard mechanic and basic skills pool guy he is sufficient but not a true pool professional.
