This was the first time that I've ever had to sell a house, so I was pretty nervous going into it. Petra came very highly recommended by a friend and I can definitely see why. We used Petra and her team as our real estate agent upon the recommendation of a friend in September 2015 to sell our house in San Antonio. We are living in New Jersey at this time. We spoke with Petra on the phone and then met with her at our home. She spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were concerned that our house which had been a rental would be tough to sell. Petra made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), like give us honest opinions and tips about renovating the house, having professional photographs taken, and a lot more. When we saw our listing we were blown away. Her hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition. The first day we had already an offer and ended with 9 offers on the 5th day. Our house went under contract 5 days after we put it on the market over the asking price.We sold $12/per sqf higher than the previous 12 month for this area. I moved here back in 2012 along with a close friend as we both got job transfers with our company to San Antonio. My buddy's wife selected Petra off her glowing reviews and was talking remotely with her for quite some time before we even made the trip out. My buddy and I arrived in town a few months ahead of our spouses to start working. I wasn't in a position to buy but I wanted to tag along with him to scout the area. I got to see Petra in action as she worked with my friend. Since he and I were temporarily rooming together, I would tag along on many of the showings Petra arranged. 
She was amazing. Every single showing she arrived prepared and ready to answer anything we could throw at her. She took the time to explain each area of town we were in and would point out things with each house that we hadn't noticed and explained why it was a good or bad thing to consider. I could tell she was focused on finding the right home for my friend and not just making a sale. When it came time for him to finally settle on a house she was an expert on all the ins and outs of the process. She definitely struck me as a bulldog, ready to fight every inch for the best deal. Fast forward two years and I'm finally ready to buy my own house. The thing is, I had been driving around myself and found a new construction neighborhood and a floorplan that I really liked. I could have just worked with the builder but I still called up Petra to rely on her expertise. She immediately remembered who I was and was ready to lend a hand with anything I needed. She met with myself and the builder and made them answer several questions I hadn't thought to ask. 
We then entered a 6 month build and here is where she truly shined. Along the way, delays and issues with the build made me frustrated. I wondered if I had jumped the gun. I asked Petra if we could look at other houses while my build was going on. She didn't bat an eye and proceeded to take me through several parts of town on a bunch of showings over the span of a couple months. She went on vacation during this time but still had her assistant take care of us with more showings while she was gone and kept in touch the entire time! While I didn't find another house I liked than the one I was building, the process did cement my decision with what I had. I really needed that. I had a bad experience with my last home in Chicago and she really helped me be at ease with buying again. 
During all of this, I felt like I was her ONLY client! I know she's highly in demand and it's amazing how responsive and attentive she is. She's on point during every step of the process. 
My parents are debating on moving to San Antonio or Tucson so I'm going to be giving her a call very soon!

Our experience with Petra was truly wonderful. The home buying experience prior to signing on with Mrs. Richardson was a very difficult one. We tried out several agents in the area and had issues with responsiveness, overall knowledge and professionalism. WOW! What an amazing experience we had with Petra. My husband and I had only one 3-day weekend to fly into San Antonio from Los Angeles - we didn't necessarily expect to be making an offer during our scouting trip. But Petra actually found us the home we FELL IN LOVE with! This is how it happened: After seeing one wonderful home, we were prepared to make an offer only to discover it had just gone under contract. Later that afternoon, Petra sent us a new listing in the neighborhood that just happened to come up that day. We called her and she jumped hoops to rearrange her day and meet us. When I first met Petra, I gave her our "wish list" for our future home. Our future home had to have a fireplace, gas stove, downstairs master bedroom, big kitchen and on acreage. Not only did she find it but she negotiated a great deal. Additionally she stayed with us every step of the way through closing. We've moved 6 or 7 times in the past 30+ years and bought and sold homes each time. Petra was able to make this experience by far the best of all others.  She was always on top of everything, kept us informed, helped us avoid trouble and get three concurrent offers, but most importantly - sold our house in record time (two weeks) for our listed price.

Let see, where do I even begin to tell you about Petra. We began in early March, I had to find a realtor for my family in San Antonio (SA) and so I started with Mr. Google (Mrs. Google, she knows more). I searched for "the best realty agent in San Antonio." There were many reviews regarding individuals in the business. As I began to sift through the plethora of agents Mrs. Google provided one began to stand out, Petra Richardson. So I mustered up the courage to give her a call and get the ball rolling. Petra had the most inviting personality that I immediately felt at ease.  
I told her what we were looking for and she immediately went to work. Petra did wonderfully at providing tons of listings of homes that were intriguing to us. We had already been pre-approved so we thought everything was set. However, the bank we chose turned out to be a BIG disappointment (Wells Fargo) and the same with USAA and NFCU. They expected us to put down thousands of dollars that we were totally not prepared to do. We didn't think we needed it to begin with as we expected to use our VA benefits. Anyway, Petra came to the rescue with her resources and we contacted Jason with National Bank of Kansas City. Jason immediately went to work for my husband and I. Within days Jason came back with an approval for more than we anticipated after the first let down with the previously mentioned banks. Also, my husband and I were approved for the loan together!!! Not an option with the "other" banks.  We were excited!! Finally our dream was coming true, now if we could only find "the" house. We must of looked at a dozens of homes, or at least it felt like it. We also had to realistically look at our "wants" and our "needs" to find the right home. We originally wanted something with a good deal of acreage, but after looking we could either not afford it or it was too far from the city to meet our needs. We fell in love with a few but they just weren't right. We had to make several trips to SA, which wasn't easy with my husbands or my work schedules. Petra was patient and drove us around tirelessly. 
 Our last visit to SA we looked at more homes before after not deciding to go further with an offer we had made and received a counter offer on. Boy am I glad!!! Petra found the perfect home for us to view and it was hard to choose with the other amazing listings she provided. My husband and I agreed on making an offer for one particular home, we previously had a hard time agreeing on the others. :)
So we made an offer on the home; but had received a counter from the sellers. This was great because we had originally wanted to offer their counter amount, but Petra advised to start low. :) So, we accepted their counter and the process from start to finish was extremely smooth and we now OWN our dream home! It may not be what we wanted to begin with, but the home fits our needs and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! We cannot stress enough how instrumental Petra was throughout this process. She is incredibly cool, kind, down to earth and giving each client 100%. I loved the relationship that grew during our time with her. She wasn't just any agent that helped us buy our first home but a good friend that will go above and beyond.  My advice is to listen to HER advice. It always paid out! By the way she likes to wear her jeans to work, but will keep it professional if need be!! So keep it casual and classy and get ready to have some fun!!!
