 + 0 moreThe wallpaper in the kitchen could not be removed because the person who put it on did not seal it. The only way to apply paint would be to seal/prime the exterior and apply the texture so we could paint over it. They arrived early in the morning, prepped the kitchen and finished before 3pm. They were very neat and picked up everything when they left. They did a great job and I highly recommend!!

 + -1 morePatrick called me back promptly after leaving a message. I explained I was in Houston but moving to San Antonio and needed a house painted that I has rented before I moved in. He went to the house on the day scheduled and he called me from there as i explained what I wanted to have done. He agreed his company could complete the job within less than a week and it would be exactly as I wanted. Of course, I was concerned because I was 3.5 hours away from the job site, BUT his reviews here on Angie's list gave the the confidence to move forward. I paid a deposit over the phone- Patrick assisted me in making paint color choices and he was on it! The job was complete in lass than 5 days. He sent photos of the work and it looks amazing. he was extremely professional, easy to contact, and HONEST!

Mr Moon came by afterwards and inspected the job and had the team make a number of small adjustments, many of them beyond the scope of the original agreement. I would go to Paper Moon again for any future projects. They were clear, up front and good at their word and sincerely interested in ensuring I was satisfied. I was.

 + -1 moreI received a bid from Paper Moon Paint & Wallpaper. I also received a bid from Handyman Connection. Paper Moon Paint & Wallpaper was higher, but I was very impressed by the gentleman that made the proposal. In the past, I had work completed by Handyman Connection and was satisfied. Since their bid was lower, I used them. BIG MISTAKE! David Crandall from Handyamn Connection did the work. He had the bathroom in such bad shape that I called and complained. They kept sending him out and bit by bit, he would straighten things out. The end result is that I will never use and will tell everyone that asks of my awful experience with Handyman Connection. The good that came out of this is that although the bathroom finally was presentable, I have a larger project to have the house painted and will offer that project to Paper Moon Paint & Wallpaper.

 + 0 moreThey did a good job and we’re satisfied with the result. They are on time – it took them only two hours to put on the wallpaper. They clean up all their mess and they took all their junk away.
Description of Work: We used Paper Moon Paint & Wallpaper for wallpapering service. They had somebody come in the day before and tear all the old wallpaper off and strip the walls and put on the new wallpaper we had told them.

 + 0 moreI contracted Paper Moon to hang wallpaper and paint my dining room and hallway. Peter Moon came promptly and provided an extremely good estimate for the 2 jobs. Additionally, they were able to schedule the work within the week (something I really didn't expect but greatly appreciated!). He and his team arrived promptly on the day we had agreed and did a fantastic job. After they finished, I realized that we now needed our living room repainted (sight lines and all). I called Peter and again, he gave me a very fair quote and his team was back out the next week to paint the living room. This was an overall wonderful experience and I will definitely use Paper Moon for future projects. Thanks Peter! Gayle

 + -1 moreWe needed a 5'x9' powder room repapered. I called Paper Moon between Christmas and New Year's and Peter came out that day to give me an estimate. He communicated with me over New Year's weekend to make sure we were able to schedule the job as soon as possible, going out of his way on vacation to plan for our job. The hangers arrived when promised and quickly completed the job. Very professional. The only glitch was I had communicated via text for the stripes to be hung vertically and that information did not make it to the actual workers... they hung them horizontally. I chalk it up to the downsides of communicating quickly and electronically. The bathroom still looks great and Peter even made a trip out the next day to be sure it was completed well. Overall, great, efficient and professional service. A bit pricey for a small job, but I understand minimum amount is necessary to make it worth their time and they did it much better than an amateur at a cheaper price. Would definitely use them again.

My client was very happy with the quality of work and i really appreciated the minimal amount of supervision required to complete the job. This was the first time I have used Papermoon, but it will not be the last.

 + 2 moreThe total project was completed in 9 days. The crew was very organized in their work and did an outstanding job of keeping the house as liveable and clean every day as possible. They took great care in cleaning up at the end of each day and Mr. Moon was here at least 4 times during the project including the day after the project was complete to inspect the work. We are very satisfied with the work they completed for us.
Description of Work: Remove wall paper in two bathrooms and kitchen/dining areas and texture and repaint. Painted Master bedroom. another bedroom and the garage. Some cracks were also repaired. Refinished and sealed cabinets in both bathrooms, kitchen and laundry.

 + 1 moreThe last job that Peter Moon did for me, which was a huge job, went as smoothly as a big project like that can go. He and his crew did everything for me. They moved all my furniture to the middle of each room, covered it in plastic and were very meticulous about taking care of my things. I 'headquartered' myself in a bedroom until they were ready to paint in there, then moved to another location. Living in a house while it's being repainted is just a hassle, but Peter and his crew made it as painless as possible. Nothing was broken, no paint was spilled, they were very professional about what they were doing. They were also very respectful about my living space. I think it all went as well as it could have. They finished in a very reasonable amount of time. Overall it was a good experience...not something you usually hear!
Description of Work: I have used the services of Peter Moon, the owner of Paper Moon, on many jobs over a period of about 20 years. He has done excellent wallpaper work for me in the past, but lately he has done more painting. This last job was by far the biggest one he has done for me. He painted the entire interior of my house, upstairs and down. This included all doors, cabinets and molding. I can't say enough positive things about this man, as a professional and as a human being. His work has always been meticulous and perfect! He oversees and supervises every last detail. Peter always shows up promptly and with a big smile on his face. I think his crew adopts this attitude too, everyone is very pleasant and courteous. My husband and I were in the housing construction business for 35 years and I have never known anyone in this industry to match Peter's caliber. He is absolutely honest, starts when promised and finishes when promised. His charges are reasonable and fair. Most importantly, his work is of the highest possible quality. I would strongly recommend using Paper Moon to anyone!
