No one ever showed up! She even called twice that day and said they were running behind! The last time she called was at 3:50 in the afternoon and said they were on their way!! Never heard another word from her! Not an apology or attempt to see if we could reschedule!! Nothing!! Very disappointing and it really put me in a bind that day!

Cleaned the house but not as we had asked. Used a dirty rag to "wipe" inside of cabinets and drawers. Did not actually clean the windows. Just used a duster on them. Not very impressed with the thoroughness for how much we paid. I had to go back and clean most of the house. The package we selected said it was top to bottom deep cleaning.
Description of Work: Deep cleaning of house. Just bought a house and asked for house to be cleaned thoroughly, windows cleaned, etc. We had no furniture in the house, so we decided to get it cleaned before we moved our belongings in.

We scheduled this home as a move in, but by the hour. The home owner did not think the home would need a 7 hour cleaning so we scheduled the cleaning by the hour. I always explain to customers that they can pick and choose what they want us to do. My crew removed all the calcium off a completely white bathroom. They cleaned the cabinets, but we do not use dirty rags. We have multiple towels for cleaning and they are changed out through out the jobs. My crew did a complete walk thru with this customer and he was very happy and he said the house looked great. They were even given a tip. As far as the windows go - they are not part of our normal cleaning lists, but we have no problem doing them if we are asked to. They can add an hour or two to a job and most people opt to save the money and not have us clean them. Michelle Owner

I called Earthwise to set up a weekly house cleaning. My wife works out of the home so it is important that the cleaning is done at a scheduled time each week. I was told this wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, at the very first cleaning the person never showed up. After 40 minutes I called and got the companies voicemail. When I was called back 5 minutes later, I was told that they had no idea where the person was and why they did not show up. I was offered the cleaning for free (which I appreciated) but, I declined. The issue was needing timely service and they were not able to provide that.

Unfortunately, the girl I had scheduled to clean had to take a child to the hospital in the middle of the night. Something I couldn't control. Mona and Leo were professional, courteous and hard working. They tackled some difficult cleaning because of hard water and made the rooms look great. They answered all of my questions about preventing hard water stains and shared info with me about some of the tools the use. I will ask for them especially in future tasks.
Description of Work: Our house needed a good spring cleaning including 3 ceiling fans, bathrooms, baseboards, kitchen cabinets, 2 bedrooms and 2 living spaces. Made two beds, cleaned laundry room floor and vacuumed all. I have pets so lots of hair.

Because Michelle, the owner/manager?, was responsive to my complaints and offered to send someone else to clean at no charge, I put the overall rating to C. As for the actual cleaning at the scheduled time, I was disappointed. Basically it was the kind of job I would have done if I were in a hurry. I asked at the beginning that we do areas thoroughly so everything would be done well in those rooms. Therefore, if we ran out of time, I would know where we left off. This did not happen. Blinds were dusted superficially so when opened a line of dust was visible on the back side; nothing was moved when mopping or vacuuming, and cleaning water was not changed. Cleaning grade D-.
Description of Work: 3 hours of cleaning with emphasis on blinds.

I sent one girl for 3 hours. Blinds can take very long to clean if we have to literally wipe every slat. I've been in homes where it was more cost effective to replace blinds rather than us spending an hour cleaning each one. I'm not sure about the condition of the blinds in this house. But apparently we ran out of time. I'm always willing to send someone for more time or clean areas again that may have needed more attention during the initial cleaning. I was satisfied with the work that was done on all three occasions. The workers were friendly and professional. Potential clients should be aware that the cleaning teams may not be exactly on time either due to traffic or being held at an earlier job. This bothered me at first, but upon reflection, I realize that there may come a time when I would really like to have a little extra time and I like knowing that is possible. The workers will always make up the time on the other end. I have other dates scheduled in the future.
Description of Work: I have used Earthwise House Cleaning three times in the last few months. The company website gives a detailed description of the range of services offered to clients. The first job I requested was a move out cleaning of a garden home that had been vacant for over a year. The other two were for my own home. On all occasions, two cleaners arrived and consulted with me regarding what I wanted done and any special concerns I might have. The owner is flexible and willing to work with her clients. In the garden home, I was desperate to get help boxing and moving out nearly two dozen boxes of heavy hardback books. She helped me resolve that problem in no time.

I am a luxury home realtor and have listings in the $1-8 million dollar range. I personally hire Earthwise for every new listing I acquire. They most recently cleaned my $4.2M listing at 42 Vineyard in the Dominion here in San Antonio and they did an amazing job. As always. In my business I only get one chance to make a first impression and finding potential buyers is like finding a needle in a haystack so I have to trust that everything is as perfect as possible and I totally trust Earthwise with the responsibility of presenting my listings in the best possible light. I highly recommend Earthwise for home cleaning.. no matter what the price.

I wasn't very impressed by the overall quality of the cleaning done by 2 people over 3½ hours. Firstly, I don't think they were there for the whole time, as they were a little late in arriving and left short of the full period of time. Secondly, the cleaning was supposed to include baths/tubs/showers etc., but I had cleaned the children's tub/shower unit a week before and I noticed I had left a "wipe" mark but I hadn't had time to get back in and clean it again. It hadn't been used in the meantime, but after looking around after the cleaning, I saw that wipe mark was still there! Therefore, it was obvious they hadn't in fact cleaned the unit at all. I wasn't the only who noticed this by the way, a family member visiting noticed that it was still there. Nothing was moved when the floors were cleaned even though we deliberately vacated the rooms so that they had full access. Many surfaces were also left un-dusted/uncleaned. All in all, I wouldn't use this service again.

I paid for the "top to bottom services" @ $30 per hour. I was told based on the squat footage of my house (2000) I would need 6 hours (2 people for 3 hours). I have had regular house cleaners for the past 10 years every 2 weeks. Our family picks everything up and puts things away the night before so all they have to do is scrub. Came home at 8pm on a Friday night to find blinds, ceiling fans, top of fridge and entertainment center were not even touched. Website states top to bottom cleaning includes top of door ways mine weren't touched. Master closet and bedroom weren't not even vacuumed. Definitely NOT top to bottom. Sent the owner Michelle pictures and told her we needed to talk. She was kind enough to text me back on a Friday night and tell me she would speak to the ladies that cleaned my house. Not sure if she meant to send me the reply text message from one of the cleaning people that sald my house was Filthy but very i professional! I asked her about it and she replied she was out with friends and not discussing it on a Friday night! I agree that there have to be some bounderies when it comes to owning your own business but why reply at all and not just wait for business house.

This customer did contact me Friday night about 9pm. She sent me a text that the girls had missed some items. I told her I would check with my girls and contact her in the morning. And she sent "Thank you". Then I received more texts with pictures and throughout it all 3 phone calls from her. I told through text again that I couldn't speak to her, I was sorry, and I would contact her in the morning. It was St. Patrick's day and I had gone to Happy Hour with my friends. Yes, maybe I shouldn't have answered her, but I tried to put the conversation off to Saturday morning. I felt very harassed and bullied for the continual texts and phone calls. I did forward a msg that her house was filthy. It was full of cat hair. When people call me I try to base the time estimate on condition and size. Animal hair is a big factor. Animal hair flies every where when we clean and sometimes we have to reclean areas multiple times. If I'm not given all the info then my time estimate is going to be off. I sent this customer a text Saturday morning which was not included in her pictures. It said "I apologize for last night. I should have never responded to you. I went to happy hour with my friends for St. Patrick's Day. I'm not a big drinker and I was in no position to handle any type of business. I'd like to send someone back to reclean the areas you have a problem with." I also called her Saturday morning.. No response from the customer. Bottom line is - I am a person and I am human and it was 9pm on a Friday night. I was very polite with my initial response to contact her in the morning. I didn't deserve all the bullying after my initial text to her. Maybe she should have waited until Saturday morning to contact me. My voicemail clearly states our hours that we are closed after 5pm. She called it 3 times. Thank you, Michelle

Mona and Leo were my cleaning team and they were awesome! The house was very cluttered because of long term renovation and also medical recuperation. But Monica and Leo not only decimated the dust from ceiling to floor, but rearrange everything, cleaned UNDER everything, and got ceiling fans to baseboards looking spit shined! I recommend them highly!.

The price is per hour plus tax. They advertise $30 per person per hour and we are contracted with them for one person. It's cheaper than who we used before so it's fairly priced. They are very good. There have been a few occasions where we had to adjust times and they were very quick to accommodate. There have been a few times that they were supposed to be here at 9:30 in the morning and I noticed the lady that was going to clean our home she arrived early and she sat in her car until she rang the bell at 9:30. Every home is different so to begin with we pointed out what we needed to have done specifically and they are very quick to pick up and do that continuously. We have had one lady that has been doing the cleaning we are so satisfied we have asked that she continue to come back so she is the one person scheduled to come back and do the cleaning every other week.
