1st Time: Masha was punctual and did a phenomenal job. She is a worker bee. She asked what i needed and was professional and courteous the entire time. She left the house sparkling clean and i couldn’t wait to have her back. 2nd time: Cleaning rep was late (over an hour). We did not get a call in advance that she was running behind. I had to call to see what was the status was. Additionally, we were charged for a 3 hour cleaning when she was only at my house for 1 1/2 hours. I had to call back to request a refund for the difference (my husband thought the charge was a normal charge). I request a 3 hour cleaning and the house was not cleaned as well as the 1st time. The job felt rushed. Nonetheless. I gave them a 3rd try. 3rd visit- scheduled but never happened. They were over an hour late and once again did not get a phone call regarding them going to be late. Needless to say, we cancelled the cleaning. The owner Michelle is very polite and does follow up on messages. Maybe her employees should get better at being punctual and notifying homeowners of when running late.

Michelle was great. Although the cleaner was pleasant enough, we didn't get the full 3 hours that were paid for. It was a small apt and when the cleaner had done her "routine" cleaning, she was ready to leave. It would have been nice for her to have done a little extra as asked on the baseboards. Overall a good job.

I hired Earthwise House Cleaning to do a Top-to-Bottom cleaning of my new house. My family was impressed once again with the detail that was put in for the 3 1/2 hour cleaning. They not only cleaned but put in a little extra by fluffing up the beds and placing the pillows in a rather nice manner. We are so impressed that we are going to use their services on a bi-weekly basis. I'd recommend this company to my family and friends needing a little help cleaning.

I used Earthwise House Cleaning service on a move-out cleaning in September after selling my home. Her crew (Mona and Leo) made a home that was lived in for 13-years look as spotless as possible. I could not believe the cleaning detail these two did. They didn't miss a thing. Plus, their work ethic is worth mentioning as I was not at the house but did spot check on them and each time they were cleaning. Very Impressive.

I made an appointment for the 7-hour Top-to-Bottom deep cleaning. The night before the cleaning was to take place, I received an invoice by email. I thought that was really strange; I'd never been asked to pay in advance for housecleaning work. I replied that I would have a check ready for the cleaners when they got here. The next day, I waited 30-45 minutes after the scheduled time, and still no show. When I called the owner, there apparently had been a mixup. She offered no apology. Over an hour later, another team finally showed up and cleaned for a little over half the number of hours I had originally scheduled. At first glance, it seemed they had done a good job. I tipped them well and told them to have the owner call me to settle up, as they had not worked the full amount of time I had contracted. By the next afternoon, the owner still hadn't called, so I called her. I told her that they had done a good job, and she made a half-apology for the scheduling mixup....But upon closer inspection, I realized that the cleaners hadn't done well at all. The upstairs bathroom had dust everywhere, and the bathtub and toilet hadn't been touched. There was still bird poop on floors and furniture where a sparrow had recently flown in through the chimney. Never again. How this company got a Super Service award, I'll never know.

I will admit I have made scheduling mix ups. I'm not perfect. I spend 1/2 my time scheduling people. I sent the same crew who has been to this home 3 times. They never receive bad reviews. The one bathtub is stained dirty and nothing will clean it. There was men's hair shavings all over the bathroom that were cleaned up. There were bugs all over the house. They spent quite a lot of time in the kitchen. We hadn't cleaned this home in over a year. The bird must have happened after we cleaned. We would not leave bird poop anywhere - not that that's a normal occurrence. My crew cleaned for 6 hours. Customer wanted 7 hours. They were finished an hour earlier and we charged her accordingly. She had a day to see bird poop before she paid and she waited a month to write this review?? Something isn't right here. She also tipped the crew $40 and I know this crew insists customers do a walk thru before they leave. Michelle Owner

Missed dusting wide open areas, did not address dusting baseboards, scratched the inside of both toilets, did not clean under easily moveable items. Also, started cleaning oven but did not finish, leaving white cleaner everywhere.

This house was cleaned August 3rd by a crew that receives rave reviews all the time. After being over a month it's hard for us to say what the initial condition of the home was or the size of the home. Sometimes we need much more time than the initial 7 hours. House cleaning is probably the most difficult service of all the services that are provided. It's never cut and dry. Every house is different and the needs and expectations are all over the ball park. I tell my crews that communication is the key between us and the homeowner so all expectations are met. I've used them when I had another surgery a couple of years ago, so I looked them up and they were still there. They obviously have a good rating and all. So I went ahead and called them and they sent one lady out. So I'm pleased. I'm satisfied with the work the lady did that came. I felt that she did a good job, but I felt two hours was awfully short to do my house. I had a 1600+ square foot house and she was in and out of here. I know my house isn't dirty, it's just me that lives here. It's more of an accumulation of dust than anything else, but I just felt two hours was too short. Even though it looks okay, in my mind, which is crazy, it's just a feeling that I have and nothing more. There's nothing specific to say that she did a bad job. I'm not that familiar with what general prices are. I'm thinking $30 an hour is reasonable. From what I gathered that's an average price, I could be wrong. I don't know, I don't have anything to compare it to. I was okay with $30 an hour. I had no objection to it, and I knew up front what it was going to cost. And I knew that's what they charged two years ago, and the fact that it didn't go up was a plus, so I was okay with it. I haven't felt well enough to really inspect, but from what I could gather, it was a good job. The owner called after to see how it was and all, and I mentioned these things to her, and she recommended we try another lady, a different lady. So she's going to try another lady and see which of the two I would like, so she's very generous in that way. When I called, it was just a matter of days before someone could come. This young lady that came the last time wasn't very punctual. She was a little late, and I found that a little strange because she did my house fast. She was professional.

I will never forget this customer. She called me and told me she had been sick, but was better and needed help. It's a common phone call that I receive often. My cleaning staff arrived and the customer started telling her that she was still sick and preceded to tell her what she had. The customer stated she was on many medications and antibiotics. My staff left and called me. I looked the illness up online, but can't remember what it was, but it was contagious and very bad. It was not something common like the flu or a cold. My staff went to a clinic immediately after leaving this house to see if she needed to do anything to prevent being infected. I could not send someone back to clean under these circumstances. Had to call them for appointment. Was rescheduled which wasn't a big deal but the next day was more than 1 hour late to appointment and had to call them to find out why. Cleaning overall I thought was acceptable but the price seems a bit high for work performed. It was pretty dirty before moving in and a great improvement however my wife had a different opinion about the floors in the bedrooms specifically. Although the work was fine there was nothing special about the service, price or quality to set it apart from others but I suppose I don't get the service done regularly so also hard to compare.
