Sabrina started upstairs and cleaned the bedrooms, family room , bathroom and the hall and stairs. I especially wanted the plantation shutters cleaned and she did these both upstairs and downstairs. She also cleaned the whole downstairs and spent extra time on the baseboards. I did not want anything done in the kitchen so she only scrubbed the floor. She did an excellent job and was very cheerful and happy the whole time. I was sorry to have her leave when the time was up.
Description of Work: Earthwise sent Sabrina over to help me. She arrived on time and started immediately by reviewing the work I wanted done. She came prepared will all her cleaning rags and equipment.

WOW!!! We had a great experience with EarthWise House Cleaning!!! To begin with, Michelle, the owner was very kind and cooperative. She promptly replied to all phone calls and emails that I sent regarding scheduling and services included in the package deal that I wanted. She was able to schedule a crew for the Saturday that I needed. She assured me that she was sending one of her top crews and she was right. Joanna and Erika arrived on time and got to work immediately. We explained what we needed to get done and what not to worry about and they listened and followed our instructions. I really liked the cleaning products that they used to get the jobs done. Joanna and Erika were a joy to be around and they work very well together. They are detailed oriented and very efficient. I will definitely be calling on Earthwise House Cleaning, again!!!

The cleaners arrived as scheduled and worked the entire time. They helped clean up after visitors that included a new puppy. Only complaint is that the Deep Cleaning Services Includes everything in the basic cleaning plus cleaning the blinds, base boards, window sills, ceiling fans, and other high dusting. None of the fans were dusted.

First off, they arrived late. To their credit they tried to call. However, they had the wrong address. They claimed that I wrote the address wrong - can't be, lived here for 27 years. Then the worker was caught behind a train - totally possible, but then they did not call to tell us they would be late. A simple apology would have been fine, but they chose to blame us for giving them the wrong address. Second, and more importantly, they did a good, but not great, job of cleaning the house, which is why they get a "B". There was still grease on the stovetop and the counters were not scrubbed clean, rather they were just wiped. We scrubbed them after they left. All of the other cleaning services they provided were done to specifications.

We were a first time customer to house cleaning and looking for a whole deep cleaning. While the set up service was extremely prompt and the cleaning technicians were nice, the overall cleaning of our home did not meet our expectations. When the first cleaning technician came, she did not know the services she was providing and asked if we paid already (which we did). So, we showed her our printed receipt which specified what was included in the cleaning. We walked through with a cleaning technician and specified certain items. I omitted one room from cleaning and two small closets. Some items detailed on the receipt and on our walk-through such as; baseboard, fixtures, top of cabinet cleaning etc. These items were not done. Our home is about 1800 square feet without cleaning of the garage. In the end, it seemed to be a wiping and dusting without actual "deep" cleaning. Both technicians left before the full 6 hour time, it was somewhere like 5 hours and 15 minutes worth of work.

I am very pleased with service provided. They cleaned entire house, including inside kitchen appliances, and dusted blinds. My renters were able to immediately start moving in after they finished. I appreciate the emails I received reminding me of appointment time and the phone call I received when they were finished with the job. When my son-in-law stopped by the house to check their work he said he had NEVER seen the house that clean! (This includes the six years his family lived there!) I live seven hours away from San Antonio so everything had to be handled by e-mail or phone. I am impressed with how this company runs their business and would definitely refer them to others and use them again.

It was 10 X cleaner than when we moved in for sure! The girls did a fabulous job! They cleaned even the blinds so well that "you could eat off them" as the saying goes. Seriously. Even the tops of the door frames were wiped down and clean. I plan to use Earthwise for cleaning our new house. I can get varying cleaning services by appt, or on regular schedule, and once we get unboxed and squared away, I definitely plan my next cleaning at our new home with Earthwise!

The two people on the cleaning crew showed up in different cars, one of the ladies was not there at the appointed time. One lady cleaned the master bed/bath, 1 bedroom and 1 other bathroom. She did a decent job, but for 3 hours work she should have accomplished more. The other lady (who got a late start) cleaned the kitchen, dining room, den and living room. I must say, my kitchen sink and stove looked amazing, but she missed the fronts of over half the cabinets. Her method of dusting was "i'm using a lambswool duster lightly around things, I won't pick anything up and dust it off" and when it came to "cleaning from the "top to the bottom" in the den, she didn't even manage to make it halfway up the bookcase. She never touched the higher shelves or the top of the bookcase in the living room, didn't break out glass cleaner to clean the glass table tops and did not vacuum off the couches. I cleaned houses for several years and so I know what a top to bottom clean is. I also know what should have been accomplished in the 6 hours the two girls put in. Oh, by the way--they were supposed to be there another 30 minutes but chose to leave before the time was up. I wasn't going to say anything to them, they obviously felt that they were done. This cleaning was a test run for me, I am actually looking for a company to clean my mother in laws tiny apartment in UC, but with the job that this company did, it won't be them.

James and Maggie were very efficient and did an excellent job. James arrived early to make sure he had the correction directions. Cleaned top to bottom except for windows (my choice) and carpet (this was cleaned later in the day by another provider). Special was for 3-1/2 hours. They finished the living area in about 3 hours and they jumped in and helped me clean the garage

For the most part, it was okay. I was moving out of an apartment. The people who did the inspection said one of the bathroom wasn't clean enough so I got charged for that. They washed the stove units in the sink. They could have completely cleaned that one bathroom so I didn't have to pay for it. They left the trash bags on the patio and I had to drag them through the living room to take them to the dumpster. If they put then in the front that'll be okay. They were very friendly. They were very good and they came on time. What they did, they did well. They used special cleaning products. They were not professionally acting. I would definitely consider them in the future.
Description of Work: They vacuumed, picked up all the trash that was around, cleaned the refrigerator and cleaned the bathrooms. They cleaned up the kitchen.

I was very impressed, I only purchased three hours of cleaning and the young lady stayed over the three hours to finish up everything.

Description of Work: Michelle was very cordial over the telephone. It took a little while to fit both our schedules to find the time for housekeeping. We're both busy people. She sent James for 3 hours Saturday to clean my house. James was execellant, he was fast, efficient and thorough. He cooperated with whatever I asked him to do. He was through in 3 hours when it took (others * ) I've hired 5 or 6 hours to do the same cleaning. (* Others were not from Earthwise) I have hired Earthwise and James to come back every week for 3 hours and will be recommending him to all my neighbors.

I reached out to Michelle and spoke with her about what I specifically needed done. My husband has been battling leukemia and was in the hospital undergoing a stem cell transplant. I explained that due to the last year being a whirlwind, the house had been neglected and it was desperately in need of deep cleaning. This was also important because once my husband came home, he would have no immune system and dust/allergens would be extremely irritating to him. Special attention needed to be paid to the two bathrooms because the toilet in the master had calcium and rust stains, and both bathtubs (that are fiberglass) had hard water and lime build up. It was also necessary that the entire house be dusted from top to bottom because a UV light purification system was being installed and the air ducts we're going to be fogged to kill any germs and bacteria. The AC guy told me that the house needed to be as clean and dust free as possible prior to him servicing the AC unit. We had also just repainted the entire interior of the house and new laminate flooring was installed prior to the cleaning so 1200 ft of flooring was new and didn't need much attention. The team was scheduled to arrive at 9 am. At 9:15, I called Michelle and asked if they were going to show up and she informed me that I wasn't on the schedule. She called another crew and said they were finishing up on a job in and hour and then would be on their way. At noon, I received a call from the wife of the husband and wife team and she said they would be on their way shortly and arrived around 12:30. I wasn't too happy since I planned to be at the hospital with my husband by 1. Both the husband and wife were very nice and I explained to them what I needed done just as I had explained to Michelle. After 3.5 hours of cleaning, the wife said they were finishing up and asked if I would like to check over their work before they left. As I walked through the house, I ran my fingers along the tops on the door jams and none had been dusted. I asked for her rag and wiped them down myself. When I asked about areas of the toilet, floor around the toilet, and bathtub that still appeared dirty, she said that they were stained. I should have done a better job of looking around but I was in a hurry to leave to go to the hospital. As I got in the shower, I ran my hand across the top of the tub where it met the wall and noticed it was still dusty. When I got out of the shower, I noticed that along the bathtub, the floor had not been cleaned, as well as the baseboards. I emailed Michelle and told her I was not satisfied with the job that was done. I was disappointed because I had hired a "professional" so that it was done as best as possible and was looking to hire someone to clean weekly once my husband came home. The next morning she called me and said she would send someone else out to clean what was missed. James came out and cleaned the areas that I had noticed. He was able to clean the toilets, the spot on the floor around the toilet, and remove majority of the "stains" from the tub. He was even nice enough to leave the remaining bottle of cleaner he had used and told me that if I put a cap full of the product in the toilet, it would keep it sanitized. A few days later as I was vacuuming, I noticed that the fireplace, mantle, and hearth had not been dusted or vacuumed. There was still bits of dust hanging from areas of the ceiling, the top of the refrigerator, and none of the tops of the kitchen cabinets were dusted or cleaned but I wasn't going to call again. I know our house needed a lot of attention. If the wife of would have told me that they didn't have enough time to do finish the job and needed to come back, I would have understood. I am happy that Michelle did offer to send someone over the next day and hit the spots that were missed. I will not be using their services again. In my opinion, I shouldn't have to tell a cleaning service what needs to be cleaned. I have to take my husband to the doctor seven days a week and raise a seven year old so I don't have time to make sure the house is cleaned properly or wonder if and when they are going to show up. I really wish this would have worked out, and I hope others don't have the same issues I did.

This house was beyond dirty. My crew had to use razor blades to scrape the showers/tubs. They were black and had extreme build up on them. The doors in the house were full of dirt and mud. They had to use scrubbers on the doors to clean them. The same with the baseboards. It took over 2 hours just to clean the master bathroom. The blinds were literally brown and had to be hand wiped to clean them. Ceiling fans were caked with dust. There were layers of dust and cobwebs everywhere. All of this is very time consuming. Yes, they did miss a few areas and I sent James back. They probably did need more time the first time. I also called her after James went back and left her a voicemail to make sure she was satisfied. She never returned my phone call. Both of my crews asked her to do a walk thru and she was happy enough both times to tip them. I don't know what else we could have done for her. I really don't think this review is warranted given the condition of her home. Michelle

The service was fine. We continue to use them. They came out for the Big Deal service pretty soon after we bought it. There was no additional cost to the $199 Big Deal. They did a good job, enough that we started using them on a regular basis.
