Two person crew arrived on time, and quickly assesed what needed to be done. They were friendly and professional and worked quick to complete the job. Quality of work performed was as good as I could expect, and with 3 dogs, felt like a new house. Will definitely hire again!

It went very well. This was the first time I had used this service. Joann and Erica were very professional and accomodating. They did everything I wanted plus a few extras which was great. Joann walked me through the house after they had finished. I could tell she is a detailed person and wanted me to be happy with their work. Michelle, the owner, called that evening just to ensure we were satisfied with the work. I told her we were happy and would use them again.

For the most part I'm satisfied, with one caveat. I bought a move out house cleaning special for $199 through Angie's list. The provider told me before hand that my house was too big (2500 square feet) for a thorough cleaning at that price. I said I wanted to keep at that price and they didn't have to do a real thorough cleaning everywhere. So they asked for a priority list. I said bathrooms, kitchen and floors. On the day of the cleaning two girls showed up. They worked really hard and cleaned thoroughly, especially the kitchen. I became worried about how much time they were spending and said you didn't have to be so thorough. Anyway, they stayed for a long time and at the end of the day, the carpet was not vaccumed yet. Then they said if I needed to have the carpet cleaned, I needed to pay extra. I did pay extra ($120 for extra work, and $20 for hauling away some garbage and $20 for some special agent to clean the toilet) and they eventually left with my house sparkling clean. My landlord refunded me my entire deposit. I would use them again as they do a good job. But I do feel a bit disappointed that they did not stay within my budget even though I clearly stated before hand that I wanted to stay within my initial purchase price.

It was okay. The did a descent job but I had emailed them to schedule and I thought I was on their schedule but I wasn't. So when they didn't show up the day they were supposed to show up. I called them and they managed to get me in the next day which was nice but they didn't give to the people that were coming to my house my phone number so that they could call and double verify the address. So that was kind of a little mix up but once they got there they were fine. They did better the first time I used them but this one not as well. They sent some really good workers out and they were on time, they did a great job, they got things cleaned but they weren't as good as the first crew that came and they kind of got the schedule messed up. The price wasn't a good bargain.

I most certainly had a back up plan. I spoke to this customer 3 times the morning of her appointment. I told her the original girl couldn't make it and I offered to send two other people. I had them both lined up and one could have been there within 30 minutes even though the job was in New Braunfels. At that point she wanted someone there within 10 minutes which was impossible. I scheduled her for the following Tuesday and gave her an additional hour for free for her inconvenience. She agreed to that and was very happy about receiving an extra hour at no cost. We paid for the move out clean and it wasn't done sufficiently in my opinion. The inside of the cupboards were not cleaned out, some scuff marks and several crown marks on window seals and doors. Not just latent they didn't try to clean it, it wasn't a true move out clean. Had it been a normal house cleaning I would have been satisfied. Then following that, after our landlord charged us for a second house clean I did try and email the company to at least get a receipt asking that they had at least been there at my landlords request and I never did receive a response from them and that communication was through Angie's List to provide documentation that I did come in contact with them. So it's not a service I would use again. I mean they didn't do a terrible job it was just not to the description that they gave. The price was more than fair. I think I saw them on the 6th.

It's hard to respond to a cleaning that was almost 6 months ago. Sometimes we run into situations when a coupon is purchased and it is not enough time for a move out cleaning. I try to explain that a move out cleaning is very detailed and time consuming. It's like detailing your car, but it's a house. Not all homes are in the same condition or size and can be cleaned in the same timeframe. We sometimes enter homes, especially rentals, that have not been cleaned in months, which makes for a very time consuming job. In some situations our clients know their house needs more time and they schedule the time needed. In other cases we have to finish in the amount of time the client wants to pay for and it is not enough time. House cleaning is probably the hardest service to provide. We understand we are in YOUR private areas and YOUR place of comfort. We strive to respect all of our clients while providing the best service we can. All new clients are called to make sure we are cleaning to your expectations and satisfaction. Reviews are great. Of course we do not want any bad ones, but in every review and telephone conversation with a client, we are given the opportunity to learn and improve if needed. Of the 3 cleaners, 1 really did a good job. If we have them over again I will ask for her only. I can't believe the difference in standards between these 3 who were here. Also, we paid for a 2 hour cleaning and only got 1.5. With that said, the lead gentleman food all my wife if it was okay. However, my wife is non-confrontational and simply agreed. I feel that as a professional cleaning service they should not have even asked to leave early. They should have simply continued to clean for the entire time.

In the beginning it was going great! We had Samantha come out and clean, she did the deep clean and then did the next cleaning or next few cleanings before leaving. We had chatted before my initial clean about doing a "rotation" of deep cleaning, like other companies do and she agreed upon that (we're talking cleaning a few windows, dusting top of cabinets, and doors each time she'd be here). Well this did not work out the whole time they cleaned for me. The next cleaning after that two ladies cleaned, one showed up at the scheduled time, the other at least a few hours late. This did not bother me as they were trying to find someone to come to Austin to clean and they still cleaned for the right amount of time. The cleaning after that was someone new, who again was late, but still stayed for 4 hours, which was the agreed upon time. I ended up calling the owner about the agreed upon "rotations of deep cleaning" and she said basically that she could not find people to come out to Austin, and that this person should work out and I can talk with her about the rotations. She also told me she had pulled out some of Austin b/c she could not find anyone. I told her that I had went with their company b/c their initial cleaning was cheaper and b/c Samantha and I had talked about doing the rotation. I also told her that I already paid their company for the initial clean and if I found another company, i'd probably have to pay them the initial cleaning fee. She told me that I should contact the other company b/c they might not charge b/c I've had a maid come. NO POINT in this conversation did she say that she was no longer cleaning in Austin, but sounded like she did not want my business. I talked to my husband that night and agreed to start looking for another maid but would keep the next cleaning, which was the next day, b/c we had already scheduled it. We had to cancel a few cleanings due to the craziness of the holidays(which they were awesome about), and today they were supposed to come clean at an agreed upon time of 9 am. They send appointment reminders, which is great, but with a hectic life I forget about them. So today I looked and she had changed my cleaning time to 1:30......... I had already talked with her in the beginning about HAVING to do it at 9 am b/c my kiddos have nap and they would not be able to clean their rooms, and would not be able to clean b/c of the noise--there would be no point coming at that time. I called her up and shes like, we'll its been at 1:30 for a week now, (i totally get that i dropped the ball on not opening up the appointment reminders, but we had agreed upon 9am from the start, I didn't see a need). She said that she had a job in NB and then they'd head here around 1:30. I told her that it sounded like she didn't want my business, to which she replied with "well I told you that I had to pull out of Austin." AT NO POINT in the previous conversations did she say she could not clean my house anymore. I told her that that was not my problem and SHE is the owner of the business and should have told me that she could not clean my house. I told them that we did not want their service anymore and don't worry about coming. Their cleaning is average, nothing above and beyond. They did not do the "extras" that Samantha and I had agreed upon. Even if Samantha left, the rotation should still have been a part of my cleaning b/c that was stated at the beginning. Long story short- Very unprofessional, not only with the different staff, but also with ALWAYS being late (except Samantha, she was always on time), and never doing the rotations. The owner did not care about my business at all. Update (as I have read the owners comment). Yes, she was totally honest with me, but at no point did she say she was pulling out completely, so I figured she still wanted my business. That being said, yes, I was fine with all cleanings (Just the punctuality was an issue.) I absolutely would not have given a bad review if she would have been upfront saying that she wouldn't send a crew out anymore, or better yet had worked with me till I found a new maid. Yes, I was upset that we had ALWAYS had our cleaning in the morning b/c our kiddos sleep in the afternoon, then it gets changed on me. And yes, she was absolutely right about the reminders (which I did ignore b/c our previous discussion) Long story short, I was fine with the cleaning! The owner just needed to be upfront and tell me she was pulling out.

I was totally honest with this customer and explained to her that I tried to do some business in Austin, but I could not find local people to represent my business. I can not just hire and send anyone to clean a home. I ended up sending San Antonio crews to the Austin area, but it became difficult with logistics. I spoke to many customers and explained the situation. This was the only customer who gave me a hard time about my decision. Reluctantly, to accommodate her, I scheduled her for this past Friday. She received email reminders regarding the appt. since Wednesday. She called Friday at 8:30am telling me the afternoon wouldn't work. At that point, with other jobs already scheduled and her being over an hour away, I could not change the schedule. She told me twice she would write me a bad review. Guess I should have just stuck to my original decision and not scheduled her. Probably would have received a bad review either way. Obviously, she was happy with the cleaning provided or she wouldn't have wanted us to return. Michelle Owner

Tuesday (the professional cleaner) showed up with a helper and went to work immediately. Tuesday had been to my house before and knew how I liked things done, so she quickly told her partner how to get it done correctly. They worked for about 3 hours non stop.

They were able to schedule me in within a few days and arrived on time, maybe even a tad early. They worked hard the whole time they were here (team of two for just over 3 hours). I was happy to have my blinds cleaned and get caught up with house cleaning, since our schedule had been so hectic, we had no time to do it ourselves. They did everything I requested in right up to the last minute of their time and were able to get it all done. I have just over 3,000 sq feet in our house, but there was one room we had them skip. I would hire them again in the future.

Stephanie showed up at my house on time ready to tackle the whole downstairs area by herself. She worked diligently and had a really good attitude. She commented that my house already looked clean but my wife and I could see a real difference after she left. Great job and though we paid for three hours Stephanie was done in two. We don't routinely use a cleaning company, but have used Earthwise three times in the last six months or so. Each time we've purchased the three-hour deal for around $90. Our house is about 1,500 square feet and they have been able to clean the whole house in that amount of time. Each time they have done a very nice job. .. not so much a deep cleaning, but vacuuming/mopping, dusting, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Very nice folks and responsive as well.

Samantha was responsive when scheduling, punctual and very sweet. She listened to my requests and communicated realistic expectations of what she could get done in the allotted time. I was very happy with the work she did and would definitely use her again.

During the first visit the ladies were pleasant. They brought their own cleaning products and supplies. Since then one of the original ladies and her daughter-in-law have been coming every other Thursday. They are fabulous. They clean the way I do when I have the time. They are very professional and hard-working. As I told them on their last visit - they are the best thing ever to happen to this house. I am amazed at the cost. The price is lower than any other cleaning company I've researched. For an insured and bonded company I find their prices quite reasonable. I cannot recommend Earthwise House Cleaning enough.
Description of Work: I first had Earthwise House Cleaning come to do a top-to-bottom cleaning. Two ladies came and worked for 3 1/2 hours, doing exactly the housecleaning chores I asked them to do. They have been coming every two weeks for general house cleaning

2 girls arrived on time and were prompt with their own supplies. I gave them a tour of the house and told them what I really wanted them to focus on were windows and mopping the floors. One girl (Mona) was decent, the other girl it was her first week and you could tell she did not care one bit and it showed in her work. When she was cleaning she did not move anything - she wiped around it. She only cleaned the bottom of the windows, not the top - even though they could clearly be reached with a small step stool. She also told me she wiped down the kitchen cabinets despite the fact there is drips of food on it. They were on their way out and I noticed she did not vacuum the couches and so I asked her to and went to walk the house. I assumed she had but when they left I noticed she only vacuumed one and just on top. Supreme waste of money - this was not much of surface clean much less a "deep clean" as advertised.

This review is partially correct. This customer sent me an email yesterday right after her cleaning regarding she was not happy with a few things. I responded right away and sent my customer service manager and another cleaner to her home within a few hours. They took care of everything and she was very satisfied and also took their names so they could go back to clean for her again.
