I was contacted once when the company arrived at the house to let verify my preferences and top priorities. I was asked what was most important to get done. I was assured that the issues I was concerned with will be addressed and taken care of. Before the job was finished I received another call and then I got pictures of the fabulous work. The gentleman that I spoke with on the phone was very professional and courteous, he took the time I needed to answer my questions.

This provider cleaned for me for over two years, and I was basically satisfied with the cleaning. They had had to switch who was cleaning my house several times recently, and I wanted to meet each one before they cleaned, so it became too difficult to stay with their service. However, though I was basically satisfied with their cleaning, I have contacted Michelle five times to get my house key back since I stopped using her service. She has not returned my text messages - security is very important to me, which is why I paid their fee, which was more than other services. They were bonded, and that was important to me. It makes me really uneasy to have my house key still floating around, and I feel at this point I'll have to have the locks changed at my house - a significant expense. I think it would have been relatively easy to just put the key in an envelope and mail it to me, and I'm disappointed.
Description of Work: Provider is bonded, provided basic housecleaning, worked well with me on using products that didn't have strong chemicals, showed up as scheduled.

I am so happy. I just walked in my CLEAN house after Earthwise House Cleaning fulfilled the 4 hours for $120 through Angie's List. Two friendly staff members showed up right on time, and did an amazing job. They cleaned everything: the blinds, the countertops, the tub and shower walls, dusted, swept, mopped, and cleaned the inside of my microwave! I am very picky with kitchen countertops, and they were smooth and clean to the touch. The floors are spotless. I also like that Earthwise uses natural products. My home smells pleasantly cleaning without being over-bearing or too chemical-scented. I definitely recommend Earthwise House Cleaning.

It was good at first but then I try and inspected after they left, they didn't really do a good job. They say earthwise which means that they will use non chemical products but they used a lot of bleach so that's not eco friendly. They were nice. They were there on time.

I purchased a deep cleaning coupon. The appointment was scheduled within a few days of contacting them. Two people arrived to do the work and they completely cleaned the house, including cleaning the oven, ceiling fans, and window blinds. They did a good job and I will be using them again.

Martha and Hugo arrived early and completed the entire house within the contractual time limit! They were very hard working, efficient and personable. The bathrooms are immaculate as is the rest of the house.

It went great! It was a husband and wife team, they showed up when they said they would and cleaned the entire house including the kitchen stove. I came over after about 3 hours and did a walk thru with them, they were very professional, polite and very easy to work with.I am getting ready to sell the house and now have no problem showing potential buyers. I would certainly use their services again!

The beds were already done the oven was brand new so it didn't need cleaning the floors did not get washed at all they just got wIpped with a rag... no cleaner ...the blinds were dusted horribly. It is just pitiful that none of the floors were cleaned in the halls or in the bedroom or anywhere in the house ... the kichen and bathrooms were horrible. they did not clean the shower good at all.. and did not clean the sinks well at all. The thing that really bothered me they came to me at the end...the towards the end of the day and said we're all finished. We are as far as we can go .... you're not done and they said well it'll take another hour or so...you have to buy more time if you want us to stay longer .I did not realize that. I talked to their boss ...that they can only have so much time here to get the job done and they don't necessarily get all those things advertised on Angie list that they say they'll get done in that amount of time somehow I missed that small print... this is truly a bait and switch advertise and I think it wasn't until after my wife came home that we really saw how badly they had done... I'm disabled so I don't get around very much that's why we had you here so my wife would not have to be burdened with all this work... we had guests coming and unfortunately as she took me through everything we looked at everything it was horrible so she spent the next couple days just cleaning getting ready for our guests to come. Our house is 2800 square feet I understand it's a big house I understand there's only two people there that really can't do everything that they said they're going to do in just 4 hours I understand that but if they did just done what they did to right... we wouldn't be having this conversation... the fact of the matter is the work that they did do was so bad and so horrible. They should also tell you that they do not provide the vacuum they do not provide the mop that you not provide the dusting cleaner or floor cleaners they did bring a bottle of all purpose cleaner in a spray bottle and some buckets and a few rags.

I called Michelle on Friday to schedule someone to come out to help clean up the house after remodelers had covered most of it in 2 inches of dust. She actually had a team that could come out on Sunday and give us a hand. Martha and Hugo arrived at 9 AM as scheduled and they went to work. After 4 1/2 hours of extensive cleaning, which included taking the dust off of everything under the counters, on the dressers, the walls, and ceiling fans, they had totally transformed the house back into the clean place that it was once, I almost cried. They paid such attention to detail, it was almost as if I had cleaned it myself. Very grateful for the help, as I am disabled and cannot help my husband and the house is over 3000 ft.², a little much for one person to take on. I will be calling back to schedule another deep clean and then a weekly routine cleaning.

They did an excellent job in cleaning so we are hiring them again. However, forgot to clean the oven which was included in the package. Also they were supposed to be here in the morning but did not get to the house until noon after I called to make sure they had not forgotten their scheduled appointment.

I had purchased this package to have my house cleaned prior to photos because we were selling our house. I was contacted the morning of and asked if I could reschedule because the person that was to come was out sick. I needed it done that day because the reschedule date would have been after the photos took place. They sent someone out and he got started right away and was later joined by another employee. The deep clean was to include baseboards, windowsills and oven, in addition to the basic clean. I keep a pretty clean house, so there wasn't a lot of tedious work to do. They said the guest bathroom was finished and yet there was still something on the floor because it hadn't been mopped. I had to ask for the floor to be done and I am pretty sure they only cleaned that spot when I was off doing something else. They steamed the shower, but I don't think used any cleaner. Upon finishing a rushed job I approved and let them leave. A few days later I noticed that about half of the windowsills had not been cleaned under where the blinds sat and soap scum covered the tile in the shower, which had been used maybe twice since it had been "cleaned". Overall I was not impressed and wouldn't hire them again.

Let me start off by saying that hiring an insured and bonded housecleaning service was very important to us. We do not want a friend's mother or other person to come into our home with a questionable background.. If you do that sort of thing, you are opening yourself up to all kinds of issues. When I first talked to Michelle (the owner) she was kind a courteous and was eager to verify her company?s credentials. She scheduled a deep cleaning appointment for us. Cindy arrived on time (as a matter of fact about 10 minutes early). We walked the house and went through some things that needed to be done. Her helper, Bella, arrived about 15 minutes later. Both ladies were very professional and worked solid the entire 3 hours of the cleaning. On top of cleaning the regular areas of the house (bathrooms, kitchen, etc), they wiped down the baseboards, blinds and ceiling fans. All areas looked great. My only real issue is that Bella missed a few surfaces. For instance, the coffee table in the living room still had dust on half the tabletop. It?s like she wiped one half but forgot the rest. Not a huge issue but attention to detail could have been better on her part. Cindy was very thorough and even swept off our front porch. Very unexpected and definitely going the extra mile in my opinion. Throughout the cleaning, they had us check their work to make sure we were satisfied. Overall? Very impressed! We will continue to use their service so we have scheduled our bi-weekly cleaning. My only suggestion to Michelle is to consider accepting more forms of payment besides cash or check. There are great services out there for small businesses to accept credit cards like Square. Understandably there are fees involved and would probably mean slightly higher prices but that would be her business decision. If you are looking for a great housecleaning service, look no further. Michelle and her crew are top notch. As we continue to receive our bi-weekly cleaning, I will update this review if necessary.

I have had my house cleaned both routinely and on special occasions. I would not hire this company again.
Description of Work: very little. Everything was left out of place and not cleaned well. Left vacuum cleaner in hallway with cord lying next to it. Kitchen OK. No fans were cleaned. Basically the house was dirty except for two bathrooms and the kitchen. I spent time putting things away and back where they belonged. I would not use this company again.

Because only 1 cleaner showed up, we had to do it in 2 days. This meant I had to take more time off work. I asked for more than what is usually done. I wanted to clean under the beds and furniture. The job was well done, but I had to be involved to get what I wanted. This is a GOOD company and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I called & spoke with Michelle just days before I had a photographer scheduled to take pictures of my home for a real estate sale. She was extremely helpful, and was able to schedule my cleaning the day before the photographer came. Thanks, Michelle! Michelle displays such a friendly attitude, I felt that I was talking with someone I already knew. I was unable to be home for the cleaning, due to a prior appointment, but hubby was there, and he had some cleanup to do on the outside of the home. The ladies were fine to go right to work with minor instructions. I was most concerned about having the bathroom shower tile immaculately clean, and having all the floors and baseboard moulding cleaned. Hubby was most concerned with the mineral buildup and staining in the toilets. I arrived home just as the ladies were packing up to leave, and they walked me right to the bathroom to be sure I was happy with their work. The shower and toilets look great -- just like new. All of our areas of concern were addressed, and, when the photographer came, he said the house shows like a model home! Thank you, ladies! I will definitely be calling Michelle to perform cleaning for me any time I need a cleaning service, and I recommend you do the same. Great job, great service, great experience.

I think this customer expected 2 people for 2.5 hours for $75. I do not write the coupons, but I do believe it states 1 person. House cleaning is the most difficult service to provide. There are no set ways or standards. Every house is different and in turn the household needs are as well. It's not like repairing a water leak under a kitchen sink. As long as it's repaired and not leaking most people are happy. They don't care how it was repaired or what was used. House cleaning is the complete opposite. We are in your comfort zones and most private areas and everyone's needs are different. Martha did an outstanding job getting my house into shape. As a cancer patient this last year has been challenging b/c I would run out of time and energy so many jobs were unfinished.While I was trying to tidy up areas and get things together Martha was cleaning and getting my bathrooms and kitchen and floors sparkling clean. At first I thought the 2 1/2 hours wouldn't be sufficient but actually it worked out well b/c I was able to work with Martha and this was perfect for my energy level and her skills! Thanks so much Martha! It feels great to have things under control again. And it was nice to feel like someone was helping and working with me. Martha's people skills as well as housekeeping skills are outstanding!
