Make sure you know the cost details before the tech arrives. The tech was an apprentice not well-versed in my issue or cost. He took a great deal of time troubleshooting and should have called for assistance. When we decided to cut our losses and purchase a new piece of equipment, the company had the wrong equipment he was unfamiliar with. Anyway, another technician came out, and he had difficulty. Anyway, they did eat some of the costs and rightfully so. Anyway, make sure you know all details before they come through the door!

Summary: Poor installation, left my home dirty by leaving trash and drywall dust on the floor. Destroyed coax cable and ethernet port for no reason. This is my first ever review on anything and tried to honestly sleep off being upset because I understand everyone has a bad day. However, even a couple of days later I am still upset so I will give an honest review as requested. To start, the home I bought is brand new and I am the first owner. I wanted ethernet ports installed into the bedrooms so we could have direct connections. Setting up the appointment was easy and the technician seems really nice and knowledgeable over the phone. When getting close to my appointment date, the closing on my home was moved back, conflicting with the appointment. I attempted to call a couple of times to reschedule the appointment, but I was unable to get in touch - certainly understandable as I am sure they were busy. As an alternate, I canceled the google calendar invite and sent an email explaining the situation. On the morning of the original appointment I received a call asking where I was. I informed them I was at the closing of my home and I could not be there and nobody could let them in. This is where the customer service rating comes in because they did work with me and waited for me to get to the home and still completed the job which was nice, but honestly I wish at this time I did not let them. We completed a walk through and I explained what I wanted. The lead technician informed me there was a pre-existing port in the living room and stated he could "activate" it for another $75. Although I was a bit thrown off, I just said I am focusing on the 4 bedrooms and will let him know if I need anything else. Right after we do the walk through, the lead tech stated he had a family emergency and had to leave. This is totally understandable and has no bearing on the rating. The lead tech left another technician behind to work on his own. I feel really bad for this technician as there was a language barrier between us and he really got shafted having to work by himself for the majority of the day. This ultimately turned something that should have taken about 3 hours to a 9 hour job - still not a big deal. My issue really comes in with craftsmanship, integrity, and willingness to right wrongs. In one of the bedrooms they cut a hole in my wall before confirming if they could even run the ethernet line. This turned into an issue as the line could not be run to that location. They asked what I wanted to do and I said specifically, I do not want more holes in my wall, and opted for a work around that ran the wire into the closet.

Arturo, the technician, was very polite and thorough. He got my computer working and explained how to clean the computer to get it working quicker.

They are a fine group of people to deal with over the phone and in person. I was pleasantly impressed by their new intern ,Arturo, he really did a great job from start to finish. My computer is once again up and running. I would definitely hire them again.

They really arenâ t in it for the money. They take deep care of the customers and put the customers interest ahead of theirs. 10/10.

Carlos replaced a keyboard on a Dell 5560 Precision Workstation. Required completely removing all internal components, including motherboard, to get to the malfunctioning keyboard for replacement. Then of course, putting it all together again. Complicated project. Required knowledge, skill and focus! Outstanding work! Would not hesitate to call him again. Customer service exceptional.

Was contacted by Carlos within 5 mins of submitting the project through the app and was able to secure an appt for 10am the following day, which completely exceeded my expectations. The technician worked quickly and expertly to address my needs and get our CAT6 line up and running for my work from home requirements. Highly recommend!!

Very good work and very fast

Carlos and his team were courteous, professional, and flexible to our needs. They networked our whole house with mesh Wi-Fi and Ethernet ports in a day, configured and even identified some shortcomings of our ISPâ s work. Unlike larger and more corporate businesses, he actually listened to what we wanted to do and executed on it rather than trying to take shortcuts or upsell on something unneeded. Well done and thanks to him and his team. A+ highly recommend!

The installer arrived in the time expected and performed the work properly in the time window agreed upon. He was professional, careful, and considerate while working. The cable appears to operate consistently at full speed. I would call Nice2GeekYou again if needed and recommend them to anyone who needs cable installation at home.
