About us

Mustard Seed Moving Co of San Antonio is unique in that we are dedicated to staying small, to keep our reputation big. Instead of growing the company to add more trucks and teams, we remain as 1 small, skilled team. The owner of the company, Andrew Sengler, personally assists with the labor for 99% of the moves performed, along with his qualified team. Our website is very informative and includes information about our rates. We also are unique in that we can deliver and pick up good-condition moving boxes before and after a local move. Our box division is called Box-Go-Round. Box-Go-Round prepares you for your move by making it easy to get the right type and right number of boxes. We have a rolling warehouse of new and used moving boxes and moving supplies that conveniently goes to your location, helps you formulate your order and immediately delivers your moving boxes and packaging supplies. We also have packing service available, even if it is just your kitchen you want packed. If your move was a local move, we will pick up your boxes after you are finished with them (free service for 30 or more boxes), or you can bring them back to our warehouse. We offer full refunds for new, unused boxes that you purchased through us. We also buy back any gently-used boxes that you purchased new through us and bring back to our warehouse. Our local delivery is free, as is our local pick up service, as long as the minimum size order requirements are met. All of our prices are posted on our website and they are always current. We carry new and used boxes including wardrobe, dish pack, mirror, small book, medium, large & x-large. We also carry tape, blank newsprint packing paper, moving pads, markers and other important moving and packing supplies. We are based in San Antonio, TX and our warehouse is near Culebra and 1604, on the NW side of town. Cost is determined by the job. Additional DBA - Box-Go-Round. Description of Work: This was the second time they moved us in 2014. The first(in March) was moving 25% of our furniture to an apartment and the remainder to storage. The June move was from the apartment and storage into our new home. The moves were flawless. They handled our belongings as though they were their own. They were fast and efficient. I strongly recommend Mustard Seed Moving.

Description of Work: Did an excellent job. Very careful with everything. They spent a lot of time wrapping and protecting everything. They carefully loaded and un-loaded their truck and put everything where we wanted it. They also moved thing more than once. They charged by the hour, so their incentive was to spend all the time they needed to get a good job done. Would use the again for any local move I might have to make in the future.

Description of Work: This was one of many, many moves we have made, and without question Andrew and his crew made. This the best. We made contact with Andrew about Six weeks in advance, he kept us informed the entire time. He was at the front door on the day of the move right on time. His truck and trailer were clean and his loading equipment was very professional. The load out was quick and without any damage. Andrew made sure everything was exactly where we wanted them to go in the new house. My wife and I have commented many times since the move how pleased we were with the great service provided. While we don't expect to move again, if we do we will certainly call Mustard Seed Moving Company. Thank you Andrew.

Everything went well.
Description of Work: They moved two very heavy pieces of furniture, one from upstairs to downstairs and the other from upstairs to downstairs. They arrived on time, moved both pieces very carefully to insure that no damage was done to the furniture, walls etc. I would definitely use them again; they were very professional and prompt. I thought the charges were quite reasonable based on the stairs and size/weight of the furniture.

Description of Work: This was the second phase of our move from Corpus Christi to San Antonio. In this phase we were moving our possessions from two storage units in San Antonio to our apartment there. Again, Andrew, Phillip and Louis were the height of professionalism in every way. They patiently waited while we sorted through what we wanted moved and what would stay, even helped us makes some decisions. It was a very hot day, but Andrew and his crew worked hard and steadily all day getting us in. We did our own packing which can be risky but everything was handled so carefully, we had NO damages at all. Andrew's specialty is pianos and he had taken our baby grand apart to move it and had put it back together for storage. He carefully took it apart again for the move from storage to the apartment, and assembled it in its new spot...perfectly done. Andrew, Phillip and Louis are Truly nice people who are so pleasant to work with. Again we highly, highly recommend them and can guarantee you will be pleased. Thank you, Andrew, for taking such good care of our mOve and of us!

The owner, Andrew, and a co-worker did the job in two hours. They did the job quickly, carefully, skillfully, and professionally. They were so concientious, honest and polite. It was a pleasure giving business to a company that has pride in their work. The website clearly states their policies and prices.

Great company, I think I saved about 50% over other companies and the boxes were delivered to my house. I called, got an appointment, they showed up on time and went through the house to estimate how many boxes I would need. Then I made my selections from used and new boxes. Overall, great company, great concept. Saves you money and hassle while helping the environment by reusing boxes.
