The clog ended up being a break in the pipe. Had to replace several feet of pipe outside. The contractors kept me informed every step of the way. They had cameras down in the sewer pipe that enabled me to view the problem. It was fixed in good time. They were professionals. It was a joy doing business.

I called and scheduled an appointment around 1pm after previously having a handy man no show no call happen. i thought this company would come through because they said they had an available time slot of 6-8 that they would be able to have someone come out. 4 hours later i received a call at 5pm saying that they made a mistake and did not have anyone that could come out until after the weekend on Monday. Bad customer service and unprofessional would not recommend.

Installation went fine. The product defective. Mr. Rooter replaced the system without any question with a better system. Provided us with a 3 yrs maintenance contract including salt.

plumber was professional. he explained everything well. emailed me a copy of receipt and itemized summary of work done. the only thing is that they called to reschedule the appointment the first time due to another plumbing 'emergency'.

I was very impressed with Jonathan, the plumber who came to do the work, and with the Mr. Rooter company overall. Jonathan clearly explained things, was patient with my questions, and gave me a nice level of confidence in the "health" of our plumbing system. I heard about the company on a Saturday morning radio show on KTSA. I'll definitely keep them on my list of companies to contact when we need work done (and I will definitely ask for Jonathan.

Mr Rooter reps Ryan and Reno showed up to diagnose my leaky water heater and determined pretty quickly it needed to be replaced. It was an 11 year old WH that came with our house. They gave me a quote on what it would cost to complete the job, we discussed options, and agreed on the price of 1800.00. To me (and I have no other experience to judge by) the price seemed a bit high, but the guys detailed that the job would be done to code, the new water heater would work a lot better, be more energy efficient, I'd have a warranty and be part of their Advantage Plan. Ok no problem....plus I have a household full of people and we need to take showers, wash dishes, etc. They left and got the new water heater and parts, came back and installed it. They were extremely professional and polite, cleaned up every bit after the job, and even gave me some tips on the new one going forward. They were at my house @ 11:30am for the initial diagnoses/estimate and were completely done with the install by 2:30pm! Very happy about that! Based on this experience, I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Excellent work! Cost aside, this could not have gone any better for me and my family!

After the flush, they could have just explained a little bit better about what I was supposed to do afterwards and explained a little bit better what they were doing. My husband was the one that did it. They were kind of one of those businesses where you feel like they're totally using all the jargons. They're just telling you technical stuff and they don't really explain it very well.

What was particularly impressive was the speed with which Mr. Rooter sorted our problem out. I called at 8:50am at a Friday, had a licensed plumber on-site to inspect the problem by 10. Once on-site the plumber identified the problem and, even though it was underground, his educated guess about the source of the issue turned out to be almost entirely correct. By about 11:30 a pair of guys where there to excavate the pipes. By 3pm the plumber was back on-site to fix the leak. Within an hour he had us back up and working. The only parts of my Mr. Rooter experience which weren't ideal were: 1) I wish that the plumber had told the workers to shut off the water before they dug the hole. Through no fault of their own, the severed the line at the spot where it was already basically broken and the hole ended up flooding. This created more work, more mess, and more wasted water than necessary. 2) $1250 seemed like quite a steep price for the amount of total labor done to dig the hole and patch the line break, even if the materials used were of a high quality. Nonetheless, it is hard to argue with the promptness of the service. My water service was off for a very short period of time and the area of my lawn damaged by the break is less than two square feet.

Mr.Rooter plumber Bryan came to our home to evaluate our water heater. On assessment, he found that I had excessive water pressure resulting in a leak in our heater. He explained what was needed, the procedure and the cost. He also fully explained the warranty. Upon a full disclosure, he and helper Danny installed a pressure reducing valve, a new 40 gallon gas water heater with the current code updates. Installation was very precise and clean. I was very impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and manner of the plumber and his helper. I also was impressed by the office staff and the courteous demeanor displayed on the phone. I cannot say enough about the caliber of the work or the professionalism of the crew. I would not hesitate to call Mr. Rooter again for any plumbing needs. They even wore "booties" in my home to keep mud from the rains away. Also inspected all my toilets, sinks for any potential problems and found none. I also was given contact names and numbers to call if needed. Great work for a decent price!

It was okay. They did a good job. The faucet is still working really good. I would call them again if I ever needed any plumbing done.

They addressed our problem successfully and that was the main thing. He did the well but it seemed he did not have a lot of experience.

The service from Mr. Rooter Plumbing of San Antonio was done up in Pipe Creek and I think that the work was fine. It wasn't cheap I am sure. They were not quite perfect but they were there. They were professional.

I called due to my septic tank overflowing in the back yard due to a stoppage in the line. They came out and said they would first have to pump the tank (quoted $399) and then quoted another $700 for cleaning the line that was stopped up. They said they would come back with the pump truck. When they came with the pump truck they drove it in the back yard, making large damaging gouge marks in the grass. Then they said the pump truck was not working right and they left. I called the next morning and left a message with their answering service asking to be called, as I wanted to ask about the gouge marks and when they were going to return. They never called back. I spoke to another person, who recommended another company (JH Plumbing); JH came out and said the tank did not need to be pumped. He cleaned out the line for $175.
