Very badly, at least initially. I had gone to a lighting store in advance and was given a written quote of appropriate recessed lighting equipment. The electrician came on the 1st day to recommend the number and layout of the lights, and provide an estimate of the job. He said the equipment proposed by the lighting store was OK, so I purchased it. He returned to install the lights, and found that they would not fit because there wasn't enough clearance in the attic. He identified what was needed, and my sister went to return the originals and purchase the smaller lights he recommended. (I was unable to do this due to recent surgery.) She called me from the store and said the size was not available at any lighting store in San Antonio, and they would have to be ordered. I told the electrician, and he said they were available at Home Depot. He met my sister at Home Depot and selected the lights. He installed the lighting cans, but said he couldn't complete the job because the bulbs were the wrong size. He told her what she needed to get at Home Depot, and he left with no plan to return. My sister returned to Home Depot and bought what he recommended. It was completely unclear how to convert from what he had installed to the newer equipment, so I called the company. After several days of no response, the service manager called and came to the house. It turned out that the electrician had installed the cans for screw-in bulbs rather than LED lights. The service manager quickly corrected this. I am pleased with the work he did. It seemed like the first electrician didn't understand how to do the job.

It was just the breaker on the subpanel that we did not see. Total cost to flip the one switch was $263. Total time the electrician spent wa about 5 minutes. Ridiculous price. I understand the $100 trip or "diagnostic" fee, but an additional $163 to reset the breaker? I will never use this company again.

Very disappointed in the charges that Mr. Electric quoted for my father in law. Makes me feel like they were trying to take advantage of this elderly gentleman. I did ask the other electricians about charging for working in the attic and they all stated that they don't do that. Huge difference in cost between Mr. Electric and the other electricians I talked with.

I would use them in the future.

I have used them often. They have done many electrical repairs for me. They are wonderful and very professional. They do quality work.

Tony came out initially to install a new ceiling fan for us - it looks great! We asked if he would check the landscape lighting as it was tripping the circuit breaker every time we turned them on. Bottom line - the lights we had installed when we built the house were not meant to be used as landscape lights. They were meant to "light up the trees" at Christmas time (like the SA Riverwalk). Tony explained to us the lights needed to be "professional grade" in order to get the results we wanted. BOY! Did we ever!! He and his coworker - John spent two days removing old lights and wires and replacing with the upgraded landscape lights in the front and backyards. They were careful not to disturb our flowerbeds and landscaping and cleaned up their work areas as they went along. Tony included a much appreciated timer for the lights as well. How welcoming it is to come home at night to a beautifully lit house! We cannot say enough nice things about these two fine gentlemen and their professionalism. The trees on our property are magnificent and the up lighting only highlights that. We have already spent many a peaceful evening outside admiring their work and how VERY glad we are that we made contact with this company. I would have NO problems recommended them to anyone - in fact I have already done so! THANK YOU MR. ELECTRIC - TONY and JOHN!!

Tech was very nice, did a great job just too expensive

I wasn't too happy with what they did. I have regrets that I used them. We came down to them, and the Christian group because we are Christians, and we chose them, but they cost us a lot more in the long run. They did a good job on what they did, but they didn't fix the problem, we still had to do that after they left.

There was a problem at first and I was not happy about part of the work they had done, but Tom came back out and went above and beyond to make everything perfect.

Called Mr. Electric yesterday and Ivan came out today and performed the repairs. He addressed each electrical issue on the repair request and even conferred with the inspector to clarify some issues. He left a detailed receipt that we can pass on to the buyers. Ivan was extremely courteous and professional and patiently answered all my questions.

It was absolutely terrible. Getting an appointment for an electrician to come out is very hard. Terrible service.

Initially, I called the 1-800 number and provided all my personal info, they said someone would call me back with in 4 hours. No one did, so I called the local number in town and they had no record of my call. However, they were very nice locally, took all my info, and provided me with someone the 1st thing the next AM. First the electrician, Tony, was friendly and personable. He listened to what I had concerns with and looked at each issue. When I mentioned the sparking outlet, that seemed to be his biggest concern. He checked the breaker box and right off the bat, he noticed they were the original breakers to the house, which I was shocked they had never been replaced prior to me purchasing the house. He pulled a couple, one of them was the breaker that lead to the room where the sparking outlet was and showed me why it never tripped when the outlet started sparking. He recommended replacement but never pressured me to get it done. He fixed everything I asked and after careful consideration and weighing the pros and cons, I went ahead and got the breakers for the enitre house replaced, giving me a sense of relief and huge peace of mind . I felt he was honest and trustworthy and not trying to push something I didn't need or want. I most certainly would use Mr. Electric again and will plan to call them back out, should I have other electrical issues.

They did a pretty good job. Fixed a lot of the issues that were made when the home was built.
