Movers of San Antonio

Terrible and horrible experience with this company - stay away from them - you have been warned. The two men were very unprofessional. They demanded payment in cash. They took 9 hours to move a 785 sq ft house. They destroyed several items that had a value of $1100. They offered $40.80 for damages and required a release. Run don't walk away from this company.

They were on time and took great care of the furniture and belongings. Robert and DeMarcus had no trouble moving all the stuff out of the 3rd floor apartment, loading the truck and then unloading it into a 2nd floor apartment. No scratches or dents on anything.

At first it was good, they were moving things but then they started complaining about the larger furniture, they assembled the furniture in a loose haphazard way and made me pay and tip before the job was finished and then left before they finished the job. There was one gentlemen there that was very considerate and helpful. The pricing was fair and I don't want complain but there were some things that I paid for that didn't get done. I even gave them some power wheels for their children which I was glad to be rid of so I'm glad its getting used but one of them still tried to rip me off for after hours work.

The two men were very unprofessional and kept telling us they needed money and tips for the services they were performing. They also were very slow and stole from us. I went to look inside the truck because they were very suspicious and some of my items were in there and when we asked what they were doing there they told me they did not want items to be broken. These items were unbreakable items. We had called the company and left several messages and never had a return call. We did call police later that evening and reported them once we did inventory of our belongings that were missing/stolen. I called the credit card company and the payment was canceled. If you care about your belongings my advise is to hire another company.

Terrible times 1000!!! Did arrive within timeframe but that was the only positive thing. The two men that showed up smelled like weed so bad that both myself and my husband had noticed it and he has a terrible sense of smell, that was red flag number 1!! Then they began to move our belongings slower than molasses. Granted I know they were tired from an earlier move but thats not my fault, I'm paying for the exact same services at the exact same price as the earlier clients! Next as they were moving our queen mattress they broke a hallway lamp fixture, I mean BOOM CRASH shattered and we were moving from an apartment so you know that was coming out of our deposit. So I called the company right then and there and said they had broke my apartment lamp fixture how do we resolve this? The guy said to give the complex their info and that they could submit a claim. He also stated "I'm sure there are cameras that caught the incident". Excuse me??? WHO THE **** WAS RECORDING IN MY APARTMENT? In hindsight I should've. Next they couldn't fit all of our belongings in their 26foot truck. Mind you they were moving a 2 bedroom apartment, where on of the bedrooms had a toddler bed! They couldn't fit the flat screen tvs, a handful of boxes, our mirror to the long dresser and a few other items. So I called the company again and said hey why couldn't they fit a 2 bedroom apartment in a 26ft truck?! The guy said it depends on what you have, I told him not much! I asked if they could go back for the rest and he said of course but we are paying by the hour. When we get to the new house it was almost 530, they said we had to pay before they unloaded, so again I called the company because I thought this was strange but he said yes, you pay before you unload, so ok we paid, then the 2 men immediately said they were going to unload the boxes and stop at 7!!! We were like "WHAT?!" As slow as they were moving? So my husband got in there, even used their dolly to move all our stuff and he hauled *** cuz I guess at 7 they would stop and we would have to unload their truck anyway. They left ALL the furniture in the plastic wrap they had wrapped it in, didn't put the bed or anything back together, everything was just thrown around, they scratched up much of our furniture, and they didn't go back for our other items! Luckily my husbands family stepped in at 8 that evening to help us get the rest of our stuff which took 2 trips in our 2 little cars!! They could have totally fit everything in that truck and it was apparent once they started to unload that they had wasted valuable space when they loaded that truck. What a nightmare it all was and I still can't believe how terrible the service was. Please please please whatever you do, do NOT hire this company! You will more than likely regret it!!! And our move was easy, EVERYTHING was packed, tabletop glass wrapped up and brought to our new home ourselves, we even took everything, all the clothes out of all the dressers so they wouldn't be so heavy, but none of that mattered. It took them 5 hours to move our 2 bedroom apartment. The worst part is though is that we paid before they unloaded the truck, and they finished at 645, which gave them an extra 15 mins that we PAID for!! They prorate you after the first 2 hours so they got an extra 13.75 for absolutely NOTHING!!!!! They could have atleast took the plastic off of all the furniture! !!!!! I've attached photos but that's after we somewhat arranged them, everything was just dropped anywhere. They're is more furniture that they left unwrapped as well that is not pictured.

The guy came in and did the assessment of what I wanted done. I told him I was very clear about what I wanted and they came the day of the move when I was apparently also closing my house. I needed to get out of there that day. When he showed up the guy forgot to bring the boxes and I had to wait around for the boxes and he didn't communicate that to whoever the manager was. They took literally 3 days to move me. So, they packed everything in the truck and it wasn't done in the most efficient way. There was room for everything to fit in the first round but the way that they packed it, it wasn't done very well. They took forever to get thing into the truck. One guy was in the truck I don't know what he was doing. The other guy was super slow. There was two truck loads. They came at 10 in the morning and at 2 in the morning they were still not done yet. The next day I got up early, super tired ready to go and the guy comes in at 9 O'clock and says sorry that they had another work to do. I called up the owner he was super rude to me he said that he gave me a good deal and I did not tell his guys what I needed. I was very clear in what I needed. He said that he couldn't get my stuff till Sunday. I was scheduled to work that Sunday I work in the military reserve. I had to cancel my work day so I could be home for the move. I lost a lot of money that day cause I couldn't work. He finally showed up with my stuff on Sunday with a different crew. It was horrible, horrible. The way they packed the stuff, they needed 2 trucks. They never packed anything properly.

If you want a mover that can move your belongs from one home to another then this company is for you. YOU JUST HAVE TO BE OKAY THAT SOME OF YOUR BELONGINGS DO NOT MAKE IT TO THE CORRECT DESTINATION. It was idiotic of me to believe that a company would send its employees to perform services on behalf the company and then hide behind a contract or third party insurance companies. I was told they couldn't 'CHANGE THE RULES DURING THE GAME.' If the game was to make sure that nothing goes missing and if it does it is my fault, I guess I missed the fine print. I was told 'a reasonable person would not leave anything out that can be taken.' I guess I was such an unreasonable person, I believed a company would prefer to act in an ethical matter. My fault that items were missing from my home. It you want a company with NO ETHICS, NO MORAL COMPASS, a slash and burn approach to customer relations, or NO INTEGRITY then support this company.

They were so careful with everything and shrink wrapped many items for transportation. The guys were wonderful, helpful, friendly and did the work quickly.

Nothing exceptional happened except they were able to come out the very next day. Also, they had good prices.

Everything went smoothly. Movers worked fast and were very careful with furniture. Very affordable. Especially if you move during the week they charge only 5500 an hour. Very affordable. I will definitely use them again.

The two men who did the moving were easy to work with. It was a small move, but rather complex. They did everything we asked them to do, and were good natured, cooperative and careful. The price was reasonable and the timing worked out well.

I called a lot of moving companies and was very apprehensive because I wanted a good price, but I also didn't want to deal with any of the surprise charge horror moving horror stories i've heard about. I went with Movers of San Antonio because their pricing was very clear and didn't have a lot of the extra charges that most of the other moving companies were quoting. Juan and Rich arrived on time and got to work right away. They had the truck loaded in couple of hours and even did a good the truck through Dallas traffic quickly. Everything went smooth and there were no fantasy or surprise charges at the end. These guys are legit and I would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended!

These guys were great. My other movers cancelled on me on Christmas Eve and Movers of San Antonio got my move done fast and with short notice. Juan and Justin were very friendly and got and made the move go very smooth. I will definitely use these guys again on my next move.

Best service ever. My husband is retired military so we have moved dozens of times over the years so I definitely know a good move from a bad one. The guys were on time and professional and very courteous. They got everything packed and delivered without any damages and the price was excellent. I've had bad movers drag the time out on me before or do shoddy work when packing but these guys were fast and didn't cut any corners. Hopefully this will be our last move for a while but when we do move i'll definitely be using Movers of San Antonio.
