Mcbride services was contracted to replace my roof. Mcbride services came as contracted and started working on my roof so of course they rip off the existing shingles and then 30 minutes later they call me while I’m working to tell me the shingle that I wanted is not in stock. Of course they try to convince me to get another color shingle, again all last minute, in order for them to finish the job, but the big problem was I had already gone through my HOA to get approval so it wasn’t an easy switch to make not to mention that is not what I wanted. But this all begs to differ… Why o why would you rip up the existing roof if you don’t have what you need to finish the job... how reckless do you have to be. Truly.

1/25/2017 This company took $11,000. 00 dollars to purchase materials and then did not return my calls for weeks. I went to the office to retrieve my money and the owner, Steve McBride asked me to hold onto the check and he would have a crew at my house by Monday. I should have cashed the check! The crew showed up on Tuesday. Here is the list I sent to Steve McBride on 8-29-16 Steve, the workers you sent were not capable of the job and thus the workmanship is inferior and not functioning. Here is a list of problems documented by your supervisors and myself: 1. Materials that were supposed to be replaced where not replaced. 2. Shingles are sticking up and do not lie flat 3. Shingles are unevenly spaced, especially noticeable on the façade of the house. (This looks like my 16 year old son climbed on my roof and stapled them on. ) 4. The seams to the roof do not match 5. Some shingles are on backwards! 6. Some old shingles were not removed and just "worked around" 7. The flat roof was not cut and just hangs over the edge of the roof 8. Nails protrude through the roof of my patio. I look up at the patio ceiling and see nails sticking down 9. Some turbines were replaced and some were not-some just painted 10. The roof leaks! 11. Nails, broken shingles, and grit still littler my property today 12. The workers threw the shingles onto my landscape and broke the trees and plants. After leaving the shingles on my lawn and plants the heat from the shingles burned the landscape too. 13. They broke two window screens 14. They ran over two sprinkler heads and broke two others in the back yard. 15. My electric gate no longer functions 16. They threw their trash all over my lawn and throughout my yard. Taco boxes, soda cans, cigarette butts etc. I would come home from New Braunfels where I work to let my dogs out and this is what I came home to. In embarrassment I would clean it up before returning to work. Remember, I took a week off of work so that I could be here to facilitate our home and the workers. Now I have to drive 30 miles to let out my dogs and clean up trash. 17. Our swimming pool was littered with trash and nails. 18. Alex and Larry would show up, drop off material, have me translate to the workers, and leave. No supervision=Poor quality and that's what we have. 19. Workers did not show up on scheduled dates to make repairs (2X) Again, I took off from work to be here. 20. Workers show up at my house after being let go by Larry and I have to face them and ask them to leave. 21. A certificate of completion was sent to my insurance company and the job is not done? I ended the letter with this: You nor your supervisors were not here to monitor the work and in the end we have a poorly constructed job that is not finished. Even you Steve said that you would be by personally to check on the job but I have yet to meet you. Larry is sending someone here tomorrow to make corrections. I have to work, so that means I'll have to come home again and let my dogs out. This job that I was told should take about 3 days has taken months! I am very disappointed with the service and end product we have received and now request that you make the corrections and adjust the cost to do this job. I have contracted several repair persons in my life as a home and business owner and this is the most inferior experience I have encountered. McBride admitted that the job was poor, sent a second crew to make repairs and the job was finally complete. We just wanted them off of our property to tell you the truth. I contacted Steve McBride in December 2016 to inform him that the roof was leaking. He said it was not covered under the warranty and sent us an estimate to repair it! There were some honest people working for McBride and they have all left. I believe we are working with our 4th project manager since last April. Horrible Experience!
