Description of Work: I feel blessed to have found Mark and Ellen Sadovsky. My father was a jeweler for 65 years and I learned about quality and service with him. I have been a customer with Mark and Ellen for several years, and had my mother's valuable diamond remounted in a new setting when I got engaged. I was so very pleased with the work and service provided. I continue to buy other jewelry from this wonderful jeweler. They are honest, skilled and do everything to please a customer.

Description of Work: Restrung 3-strand pearl bracelet. It took about a week and was done well, but was charged $33 more than we were told it would cost (after being measured and cost calculated by staff). Beautiful jewelry there, but if restringing pearl pieces again, I would shop around at other fine jewelers for a better price.

Description of Work: I purchased a ring for my wife and it was the wrong size... even though it was labeled with her size on it. I went in to see about getting it re-sized. I took with me a ring that was the correct size. The ring was re-sized and was ready when promised.

Description of Work: I have used them for over 14 years. For jewelry repair, gift jewelry purchases, and my fiancé went to them to design and create my gorgeous engagement ring. + -1 moreI contacted Mark Sadovsky Jewelers on or about July 02, 2014 and spoke to Mark. I inquired as to his business hours, as I wanted my Masonic ring looked at. Mark told me that on Thursdays, he stayed open until 6:00PM. I explained to him that I worked in downtown San Antonio, TX and would not get off work until 5:30PM. Depending upon traffic, I expected to arrive at 6:00PM or shortly afterwards. Mark told me that he would wait on me, even if it was after 6:00PM. Upon my arrival on Thursday afternoon July 03, 2014, Mark and his wife greeted me and inspected my ring. Mark could find nothing wrong with it, other than it needed a good cleaning. Mark polished the ring and did not charge me. He and his wife were so pleasant to deal with and welcoming. My wife and I will be patronizing their business. We being new to the area, they were such a breath of fresh air.
Description of Work: Inspected and polished a man's ring.
