Mario Remodeling

He was to do the following work: remove toilet and vanity done remove/replace sheet rock affected by water leak done remove linoleum and baseboards done lay marble tile (supplied) install toilet and vanity (supplied) remove light fixture done split wires for new light fixture and install remove medicine cabinet done float and tape and plaster wall install mirror paint bathroom with supplied paint remove demo and left over material repair wall behind refigerator remove pony wall done move 2 elec outlets to outside wall done tape float and texture wall So all the major items were not done. He came one day to start the work but never returned. He also left his tools here. His phone was shut off for a time and it took me 6 weeks before I could contact him again. When I did get through today I identified myself and he immediately hung up on me . I tried several more times to call him and he refused to answer the phone. I am a retired military widow living on a fixed income and made the horrible mistake of trying to be nice to him and pay him under the table. I paid him all the money upfront since I knew he needed the cash. I supplied everything except the drywall, tape and texture which would cost very little. Now I am out all that money with no way to contact him since he refuses to answer the phone and will have to try to save up to find another contractor to do the work which will take the better part of 5 months again. I would NEVER consider using him or referring him to another person even an enemy. MARIO If you read this I am sorrily disappointed you would take advantage of a military retiree and a woman. That is just plain bad form.
