 + -1 moreThe Mangold's are wonderful people to work with. This is a family business and they are definitely top-notch professional in their workmanship. They take their time to do it right, so if you are looking for a "Quick, Cheap" job, do not call them. They are craftmen and they take pride in their work. It speaks for itself when you received your finished piece of furniture. I picked out my fabric and they came to my house and told me how much to buy and gave me an estimate for the work. I gave them a deposit to reserve a place on their "to-do list" and based on their current work load they told me they would give me a call in about 4 weeks. They did, picked up the dinette and I told them to take their time and let me know when it was complete. They kept it a few weeks and called to deliver the finished product. It was absolutely stunning and the workmanship is amazing. They appreciated the work and thanked me for calling on them. I will definitely call on them again for any and all upholstery work.
Description of Work: Reupholstered a corner dinette (Eckbank) from Germany with two side chairs.

 + -1 moreCalled and asked for approximate cost. Jennifer said it depended on whether repairs were necessary, If not, gave an idea pf potential cost. Brought the chair over and the cost with no repairs was very accurate. Gave us samples of the material to take home and see how it worked in the room. We chose material they had for another customer and agreed they could order some more. They were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. The completed job looks excellent.

 + 0 more.Mangold and Mangold reupholstered my incredibly comfortable couch. The work was perfect as well as being quick. I couldn't be more happy.
Description of Work: My 12 year old couch had survived my two boys for the most part but was worn and needed to either be replaced or recovered. Since it was a custom-made piece, I wanted the same quality as I had originally purchased. Norwalk Gallery had make it in heavy denim when I ordered it and we had all been very happy with the results. I couldn't find anything as comfortable anywhere in town so I looked into having Norwalk make a new one. They no longer would make it in denim so I decided to reupholster it. I really searched to find what I wanted and Mangold and Mangold was the company I chose. I saw the work of the other companies and was very unhappy with it. Mangold and Mangold helped me to find the exact thick denim that I had used before and did a beautiful job. They reinforced the top of the back cushions that my Bichons lie on. They also did the underside spring covering in the same denim since the dogs had torn the original flimsy cover by getting under the couch. My very picky family is thrilled and it looks and feels exactly as it did when new.

Description of Work: I had Mangold and Mangold repair and upholster a chair and cover 6 of our kitchen chair seats. They did an exceptional job! The chair was we had repaired and upholstered was almost completely ruined when I brought it in. The legs were all splayed and the brace in the middle was completely detached. When I went to pick it up it looked almost brand new! The kitchen chairs were originally purchased from Ethan Allen. They had seen their years of wear when I broght them in. They needed everything replaced, from the inside out. When they finished with them they looked better then when we first bought them. Chris was very pleasant and professional and obviously knew what he was doing. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who wants quality work done!
