Description of Work: I needed a cleaning team for my house so I called Josie with maid birgade of San Antonio and we decided on a date after she told me it's gonna cost 131$. First issue was they were 20 minutes late outside the 2 hour window they gave me and no one ever called me to tell me they're running late so I had to call them and they told me they're 5 minutes away anyhow no big deal it was a day off for me so I wasn't in a hurry. Two ladies arrive and I tell them a few things I show them around and they start working. They started with me son's bedroom and bathroom. I went upstairs to check on the bathroom and apparently they'd only cleaned the surface. All the spots around the toilet were still there and didn't look any cleaner than when they first started I went and told her they need to clean it again. Anyway about an hour and a half later the lady asks me if I need to buy more time! I go like what? She's like we still haven't touched the master bedroom/bathroom and have done any mopping! We need 45 minutes more for and additional 57$. I was never told that it's gonna be an hourly rate I was given a quote for 131$ after the lady on the phone asked me about the cleaning I needed and she never mentioned anything about an hourly rate. I feel I was mislead and fooled. I asked her if they wanna come and see the house and she says no. Ofcourse I had to pay 57 dollars more which totaled 188$ for a really lousy cleanings all the corners on the floor were still dirty they never cleaned the kitchen table and the mirrors looked so awful. Not to mention how the lady who was cleaning my bathroom failed to remove the water residues on the glass surrounding the shower she said she scrubbed but it wouldn't come off ( I had people who got it clean and spotless but they unfortunately were not consistent with their times so I had to look for someone else) awful awful experience and I don't recommend them for anyone. Do your search before you get trapped! This company is unprofessional, dishonest and would do anything to make you pay more! Get your team some more training on ABC's of cleaning before you send them out they obviously know nothing about it

 + -1 moreThe team was over half an hour late outside the two hour time window provided. No one called to notify me, and I was sitting in an empty town home waiting for over 2 and a half hours. I had to call and inquire where they were. After one hour of work, the team was ready to leave because they said their allotted time was up when I had purchased a four-hour, 2-person package. After contacting management, they agreed that it was a mistake and they would be there for the full four hours. However, after three hours, they said they were finished. While I in no way expected perfection, running out of cleaning solution is unacceptable. The work was decent, but in light of the timing issues, I do not feel like I received what was promised in this case. The cleaning crew were very nice, but it wasn't the experience I expected.

 + -1 moreQuite efficient. However, the two hours were not sufficient to completely do a top end. The bathrooms were cleaned, but it need more polish. Nonetheless, the two ladies were very good, but constricted by the time limit to do a much better job.

 + -1 moreDisappointed. Couldn't schedule an appointment until the day before. Were late, stating that they had a flat tire. Had to leave to get to work therefore I didn't get to meet them. No deep cleaning. Floors were not clean. Dusting was inadequate. Sinks didn't look really clean. Not clean under the love seat. Space between counter and fridge still had cat food on the floor. so much more...

 + -1 moreThe house was covered in dust from construction. When I opened the door, my floors were shiny and clean. It smelled so good and all my sinks were clean and shiny as well. They did an excellent job! Also, they were so booked up when I called but they still managed to get me squeezed in. The customer service by phone was awesome as well. Josie is an absolute wonderful lady to deal with.
Description of Work: They cleaned my new house. It was covered in a layer of dust from construction. It felt wonderful to walk in and not have to worry about having to do that as I was moving in. They were very thorough.

 + -1 moreNot very well. I think they came and they had to come back the next day. They were very rude. She used the potty right in front of me and I asked her to go to the hall bathroom and she said she was already there. Just rude. I contacted them and they had to come back the next day and I think they were mad because they had to come back, so they were rude. I would not use them again, no way. They were here a week or two after the purchase date.

The home getting cleaned was empty at the time as we purchased the place and haven't moved furniture in (At this time we have moved in some boxes but nothing large). So you would think it would have been simple to clean. WRONG! My husband was in the backyard as the maids 'cleaned' . I was out of town but when I got back, I noticed straight away that the place was not cleaned properly. Dusty doorknobs, blinds, even the kitchen counters felt dirty when I swiped my fingers across them. It was obvious they didn't wipe down our chandeliers which are within reach, didn't clean the bathrooms bc there was still hair from the previous owners in them. So I called and spoke to Josie. She was nice, and she actually came out personally and said she was just going to go over everything like they normally would. Well, I don't know if she is a qualified maid either because she basically would wipe something with a dirty rag, and still miss dust! I even pointed out what I thought the $200 service we paid for included, you know, like cleaning the bathtub/shower, or the dusty toilet paper roll and after she left, it was still not cleaned! To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I feel ripped off! I started actually cleaning while Josie was there and she suggested I cleaned our wooden slat pantry doors with a paintbrush. Um...thanks for the suggestion but why am I doing your job? I even took a picture of our toilet paper holder where I wiped it versus where she left it unwiped...it's disgusting. I kid you not when I say as I was cleaning our front door after Josie left, that I snagged a spider web. Seriously?! What kind of maid service doesn't notice this stuff? So I sent this complaint to their corporate offices a few days after Josie came out, and I got an automatic response on March 3rd that I would be contacted within one business day. To date, (8 business days later), I have not received any response from corporate.
Description of Work: They did a good job vacuuming but we hired them to clean a whole house which had no furniture in it.

 + -1 moreThe ladies arrived within the window of time they predicted. They got right to work and did their jobs quietly and efficiently. I was surprised when I opened my microwave the next day. It was sparkling clean. I was very pleased with the work. Only one small missed spot. They forgot to clean under the bed. I did mention this during the call the next day. Overall I was very pleased.
Description of Work: Cleaned my condo which is approximately 1200 square feet. They did floors and baseboards and all my wooden blinds. In the four hours they did living room, dining room, kitchen, eating area in kitchen, bedroom and two baths. They both dusted and damp mopped all floors. I have no wall to wall carpet. I had specifically asked to have my refrigerator cleaned. They did a beautiful job.

Two women arrived on time and worked very hard for two hours. I thought the house looked great when they were done. The two women were very professional and nice. I plan to use Maid Brigade for regular service. Overall, I was very pleased.

 + -1 moreThey did a decent job. I'm not gonna hire them repetively just because I thought I could have cleaned just as well as they did. For four hours, I didn't have them do anything extra and it was like they barely got to the living room for dust and everything. It was worth the money for the one time but again I wouldn't do it again repetitively. They performed the work two weeks later. I would not use them again. I would look out for other cleaners.
