Description of Work: Washer/dryer purchase. Store personnel excellent. Product quality is fine. Delivery services are a JOKE. Now waiting on delivery attempt number three. First one was cancelled due to damaged product. Second attempt arrived 3 hours before scheduled delivery time...I was at work. Currently waiting on delivery attempt number three which is now an hour overdue. Delivery personnel never call in advance as promised. Store managers are dismissive and unhelpful. Whomever is in charge of deliveries needs to find another job, perhaps in a position that does not require any sense of punctuality. I'll never purchase anything else from this store that requires delivery.

 + -1 moreThere was initial confusion due to material not being in stock and coordination between the store and the contractor. The company that Lowes used to do the work was Total Maintenance Co. from Somerset, TX. The removal and installation would have been done in 1 day, had the material been delivered to the work sight as scheduled. The crew was hard working and friendly. A few small plants were damaged (almost unavoidable and the worked looked well done. The only negative was the final clean up could have been more thorough and some of the gutter assemblies were bent form ladders being propped against them and the debris in the gutters (nails-shingle pieces-aluminum disc used during installation, etc.). Overall, they did a good job.
Description of Work: Roof was replaced, due to hail damage.

 + -1 moreThis was a big mistake. I do not like their service at all. The windows are fine; However, it took them eight months to complete the job. I figured they were such a big company, what could go wrong? Boy was I wrong. They were always late. It was just a mess. I would not call them back. I had to call someone else to install the other windows I wanted. There is no way that I was going to go through this again!

 + -1 moreLowes Home Improvement Warehouse of San Antonio did a good job. The tacks are not visible and the crew was helpful. The only thing that I would change would be different carpet. It wasn't their fault though, I picked it out. It just didn't look how I wanted when it was installed. I don't want to say how much it cost.

 + -1 moreYou can't see the tacks and the carpet is holding up well so far. The workers were polite and did a good job. It took them only one day to finish. The cost was for the carpet and installation.

 + 0 moreThe fee for the carpet was a package deal special that they were having on carpet. They did a nice job but had to come back to fix a seam that wasn't right. They were prompt at coming back to fix it. We are satisfied with the carpet and the installation.

 + -1 moreLOWE'S MAKES IT EASY FOR CUSTOMERS TO FIND WHAT THEY NEED. ESPECIALLY WHEN ONE DOESN'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS NEEDED. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDERS TAKE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE PARTS AND INSTALLATION IF NECESSARY. THE COST FOR THE STAINLESS STEAL FAUCET FOR THE KITCHEN WAS VERY REASONABLE.
Description of Work: WE HAD TO REPLACE THE KITCHEN SINK FAUCET AND THE INTERNAL PART OF THE TOILET. LOWE'S PROVIDED THE PARTS NEEDED TO FIX THE PLUMBING PROBLEMS WE WERE HAVING.

 + 0 moreLOWES SALES WERE GOOD, BUT NOT THE INSTALLATION COMPANY THAT THEY CONTACTED WITH. I WOULD LIKE THE SERVICE FOLLOWING THE SALE TO BE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. SERVICE IS THE DOWNFALL OF MANY COMPANIES AND THE REASON A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE NOT REPEAT CUSTOMERS.
Description of Work: THE PURCHASE OF A DISHWASHER AND INSTALLATION. PURCHASE OF DISHWASHER WAS EASY ENOUGH, BUT NOT THE INSTALLATION. I DID NOT GET MY DISHWASHER INSTALLED FOR OVER THREE WEEKS. I HAD CLEARLY EXPLAINED THE HOURS THAT I WOULD BE AVAILABLE AND THEN THEY ATTEMPTED TO DELIVER AT A TIME I WOULD CLEARLY BE UNAVAILABLE. THERE WAS A LOT OF MISCOMMUNICATION WITHIN THE CONTRACTED COMPANY FOR THE INSTALLATION DATE AND TIME. I SPOKE WITH A MANAGER FROM LOWES EXPLAINING THAT THE PURCHASE WAS MADE FROM THEIR COMPANY AND THAT THEY CONTACTED THE INSTALLATION COMPANY. I WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT LOWE'S FAULT (BY A MANAGER FROM LOWES) AND THAT IT WAS THE INSTALLERS FAULT, AT WHICH TIME I TOLD HIM THAT THE RECEIPT HAD LOWE,S NAME ON IT. I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD BRING THE RECEIPT BACK AND GET A REFUND (I DID NOT HAVE POSSESSION OF THE DISHWASHER). THE DISHWASHER WAS IN THE HOUSE GARAGE OF AN INDEPENDENT INSTALLER, RATHER THAN THE COMPANY HIRED TO INSTALL IT. THEY ENDED UP INSTALLING IT ON A SUNDAY.
