LOWE'S

I was looking for something somewhere else and couldn't find it. I usually start somewhere else and if I can't find it there, I go to Lowe's. I looked somewhere else, but they didn't have it and Lowe's did. It wasn't exactly expensive, you couldn't just buy the one piece, you had to buy the whole thing. Lowe's is good. A lot of people like Lowe's over another store. Most of that is just because of where they are located. They sell certain things that other stores don't. They are very competitive with others. They are about the same. Sometimes they are cheaper on some stuff, sometimes they are more expensive. There quality is good. I just really don't know where anything is in that store, so I always have to hunt somebody down and have them point me to tell me where it's at. They are real good. They take over there and help you out. I've never had anything from them delivered, so I don't know how they are on punctuality. They are very professional. Lowe's is a good company. I would go back and use them again. I don't ever hesitate using Lowe's. I just hop in the truck and drive that direction.

The never have anyone at the checkout and are not stocked the same as other larger stores. So, it?s been kind of a hassle.

It went great. I told them what I wanted and they got it. Their customer service stands out the most and they have so many great employees.

On the afternoon of 9/17/14 I stopped by the RIM and asked to speak with the manager. All this time I thought I had bought the washer from the RIM store and had been talking with RIM store managers but instead I had been talking with the Blanco/1604 staff and getting not getting help. Anyway I met Albert S. the RIM manager who is trying to help. Albert seemed appalled after viewing all the service invoice documentation. He took my contact information and stated he would see what he could do. 9/18/14 Received call from Carlos Lowe’s RIM saying they called Service Advantage to tell them he and Albert feel I have adequate documentation to justify a replacement. A claim for escalation for replacement has been submitted once again. So I guess it is up to Lowe's and their integrity at this point. I do intend to file complaints with the BBB, Texas Attorney General, and with Lowe’s Corporate. If you Google Service Advantage Lowe’s it will bring up consumer complaints across America.

My overall experience was really good. They came out when they said they were going to. The guy was fast and he gave me instructions on using it. I was very satisfied with them. They were excellent. They did a great job. It wasn't the top of the line that I got.

My go to home improvement store. They are always helpful, friendly and I can always find help when needed.

They were early and it's great.

Their pricing is very comparable to Home Depot, but it is more convenient for me to use Lowe's. They are very good with service and I like their selection. The people there are very helpful.

The windows were excellent once they replaced the cedar wood for the substandard materials I had not ordered.

They were quick and precise. They were friendly and cleaned up after themselves.

Errors were made by the Lowe's representative on the first estimate, so a second estimate was issued. I was told that the installers were trained by the window manufacturer, but all actions did not reflect that. Tear out was satisfactory. Windows were installed with a larger than expected gap in the opening. When asked what was going to be done about that, the installers were not sure how they were going to cover that. The installer spent time on the phone getting instructions on what should be done, before they could answer my question. The windows were finished out and did look acceptable. Mortar was used to seal the windows on the exterior, and now 9 months later is separating from the window. Have followed up with the installer to come remediate the situation so no moisture will leak in. Lowe's did correct the damaged windows and the installer has come out to correct installation of the patio door (leaking in the mortar and mortar in the weep holes). It is recommeneded not to go with the cheapest bid unless you are sure about the installation.

Previously I reported about the great service on our carpet purchase and installation. That still stands. This is about a return on the 1/4 round purchased for the laminate installation. At the time of original purchase back in October, 2010 we purchased paint grade 1/4 round but have since decided to go with stain grade. So today I went to return the original purchase and buy new more expensive stain grade. One of the 19-12ft pieces was broken but still had at least 8 ft of "good" product. I was informed by the clerk and confirmed by the manager that this one piece could not be returned because it was broken and not resellable. There was no attempt for any type of accomodation depsite our recent purchase history with the company and this store in particular. I understand policies but I also understand customer service. It was not like I was trying to return a custom ordered product or something very expensive. I informed the manager the she had lost my business over a $4 piece of trim. Petty on my part? Maybe. But if I am going to spemd my money in your store at least consider the circumstances and what type of customer I have been and may continue to be. UPDATE: After emailing Lowe's corporate I received a return email noting that the local store would be contacting me. I just spoke to Daniel (one of the managers) and the issue has been resolved and gradings changed to reflect that.
