+ 0 moreWe chose Lone Star Concrete after getting several bids because their owner was the most knowledgable about the different techniques for high-quality interior concrete flooring, understood the look we were going for, and the price was competitive (I cannot remember exactly what we paid). Her staff was good. I flet comfortable having them in my home. And, we really enjoy the final product. My only complaint was that the crew would consistently show-up significantly later than when they told us they would be there. This was a problem because I was waiting at home to let them in before going to work. On the plus side, after the floors were done, the owner personally went out and picked up cleaning supplies and came over and cleaned and waxed the floors for us the first time to show us how to care for them, and when we weren't 100% happy with the way the color had turned out in one particular area, she had her crew come back out and reapply the stain to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: Poured layer of new concrete over downstairs floors, applied decorative stain, and sealed new flooring.

+ -1 moreIf they were professional, they would've called to say they couldn't make it instead of making me wait.
Description of Work: I set up an appointment with their secretary. She told me they would be out at 11 today. She called today to let me know they wouldn't be here until 12, and then one of the workers called at 12:30 to say they'd be out in 10 minutes. I'm still waiting on them and no one has bothered to call or show up.
