Work was supposed to be done in 3-days, and was completed as promised. The existing shower was torn down and new walls were installed along with the Jetta walk-in tub. Brad and Bret, the installers, did an exelent job and always cleaned-up at the end of each day.

[company name removed] did a great job... my only concern is the price. [company name removed] is pricey; however,if they would have found any other repairs needed they would have been covered. This wasn't the case with my shower install.

The first person who they sent out didn’t work out. He didn’t know what he was doing, broke a rack in the bathroom, pushed the screen out on the window, and left without completing the job. He had only worked for half a day. The person they sent out the next day did a very good job.

[member name removed], I apologize that we did not adequately communicate with you. We ask our installers to remove the window screen during the tear-out phase to minimize the dust and debris that accumulates on the screen, but we do replace it upon completion of the job. During the tear-out, our installer did accidentally break the towel rack and we have replaced it. When we removed your jacuzzi tub, we put cement under the new walk-in shower base to make it sturdy and solid. Our installer left after 1/2 day to let the cement dry under the new base because further work would have required standing on the base before the cement dries which would have caused long-term issues with your new shower. We absolutely should have communicated that to you before we left, and we have taken your feedback to our team to make sure that we do a better job of communicating in the future. We do hope that you are thrilled with your new walk-in shower, but should you ever have any issues, please don't hesitate to give us a call. We appreciate your business and your feedback!

Very professional and prompt personnel. Took a few days, but crew worked constantly with minimal breaks. The crew was so kind and worked exceptionally well together. Really a joy to watch their professionalism. Arrived promptly daily. Laid tarps on floor and kept house very clean. Job was quite expensive in my opinion, but got what we paid for. Good results and well done in all respects. One problem noted was floor was not received in proper form as drain hole was in the wrong place, causing new plumbing to be required to move drain hole to different spot. And one other problem was with a poor bending tool used, causing a buldge in wall which was redone. Overall we are happy customers.

We invited the company out to evaluate and if hired make ADA changes to our home as well as repair superficial but unsightly damage I have made as a result of using my wheelchair in inadequate spaces and thus marring some wood work and door frames. Todd came out to due the inspection and give the estimate. He was very professional and friendly though his pitch at the time of offering his self professed expensive estimate of the service proposed seemed somewhat rehearsed. He was careful to explain why they were often more expensive than their competition but charging me for their reputation of excellence was a weak explain at the least. I expect excellence from whomever I hire, that is why they are being hired. He was told that we had been getting quite a few estimates and there seemed no logic to the range in bids. Perhaps he was attempting to explain my requested desire for an answer. Todd did a complete walk through of our home, listened to what we needed and offered suggestions per our request of possible solutions to help us adapt existing space for ADA needs and allow for future modifications. He also did a follow up telephone call to see if we had made a decision. We had and I thanked him for his time but told him we were going with another company whose bid was lower and solutions to our remodeling needs closer to what we envisioned. He was gracious, and thanked us for our time. At one point during the tour of our home, Todd was looking at one of our baths, a very small space which as it exists is totally inaccessible to me. He bumped a small mirror causing it to fall to the ground, first striking the molding. Though the mirror was unharmed a sizable piece of the molding was broken. Todd was very apologetic and I told him not to worry as I was sure he would repair the damage with no evidence of ever having been broken. That was the last the incident was mentioned including during his follow up call and we had to personally repair the damage. I don't know if Todd was so assured at that time of the accident that we would hire his company that he just assumed the repair would be made during the remodeling. I will not presume to know what his thoughts were. He was, however told in his follow up call that we were not hiring [company name removed] but there was still no offer to repair the damage. I found this omission insulting and unforgivable. Granted there were other nicks and dents that would require repair throughout the house as I mentioned before, but none as large as the gash left in the front bath. And, as luck would have it, since I was never able to use that room due to the accessibility issues, it was probably the only room that required no repair anywhere. Accidents happen, but I expect them to be addressed with more than an apology when damage results. This did not happen the the apology was given and I am sure sincere. As a side note, I had, at a point during our time together with Todd become emotional (the reason for that episode being personal) and Todd was extremely adept at not making it into a big deal. I excused myself for about 15 minutes and let my husband continue the discussion. We were finished with the house inspection and onto discussions of the financial aspect of the work to be performed so I was comfortable with leaving to collect myself. BUT. Todd indicated when he first got here a lot of his business was with and for ADA home revisions. I would like to close this review with the comment that probably without even knowing it, Todd got off on the wrong foot with me early in our interview. I informed him that the remodeling he would be doing would eventually require further and more extensive modifications in the future as my situation would be continuing to deteriorate. I felt it was appropriate and necessary he understand this to allow him to appropriately help us plan revisions currently required but that would not impede further work we would eventually need. I actually went so far as to divulge that our financial situation required we do these future changes as they became necessary because we were not in a position to do them all at once. I have many ADA associated friends. All agreed that Todd's early and initial inquiry as to what was wrong with me to be inappropriate. We did not dignify the question with a response. Personally, I found the inquiry to be offensive and the entire situation and related discussion difficult became difficult at best. I do not fault Todd for his question. I believe he made the inquiry innocently and with ignorance. I do not resent him in any way and we certainly did not make our decision to go with a different company because of it. But I mention it here because if he does deal as much with handicapped persons as he claims to he may be inadvertently making the same mistake with them. In a time were the need to be politically correct so important, Todd may wish to gain any information he needs regarding further and/or future modifications in a different manner. If the question was presented to satisfy curiosity only, it was inexcusable. They have attempted to contact me and reolve the problem worked very cooperative with us. I would now rate them a B.

Please accept my apologies for how we handled this. In the 6 years we have had the privilege of knowing and employing Todd, he has proven to be an amazing person who will go out of his way to be kind and gracious to people. I don't say that to diminish how you felt, only to let you know that Todd will most certainly take your feedback to heart and learn from it. Regarding the damages to your home, we will gladly repair them or reimburse you for any expenses you have already incurred. Sincerely, Krishelle Hicks Owner

They have two phases and phase one was excellent. They were great with the demolition and putting in the tub. Phase two had a little issue, but they sent another group in here after them and they touched it up, so the overall experience with both of them was good. They did come back and fix what they messed up. It was a decent price for what they did and what they put in there, which was a walk-in bathtub. When they called they were here. They also showed us how to use the bathtub and everything else.

They said it would be 4 days of work and it was. Their policy is not to start the job until they have all of he materials they need at their warehouse. This is the second bathroom remodel I had them do so I was familiar with their process. At one time the were 4 [company name removed] trucks in front of the house. All workers were very good about using the back door for the work. They didn't traipse through the house. In fact I have a door to the back patio from the master bedroom. They actually used that door because it was a shorted distance and they didn't have to upset my dog every time they needed to go out. They put tarps down across the bedroom floor and took them up at the end of each day. Cleaned up after themselves each evening. Since the original work was done I had a water leak from one of the clips used to attach the glass panel. One call to [company name removed] and the glass subcontractor called back within the hour. He was out to fix the clip that same day.
Description of Work: Removed garden tub and corner shower in master bath. Relocated drain which included jack hammer and pouring self leveling cement. Took walls done to studs and used new cement board. Installed new shower plumbing. Built a half wall to divide shower from main room. Covered all walls with their no-seam wall system (I don't want to fool with grout/caulk any more!). Built a bench that is ADA compliant. Floor of new shower has 1 1/2 inch clearance above original laminate bathroom floor. Subcontractor installed 4 x 4 foot glass panel on top of half wall. No need for shower curtain or door. The footprint of the new shower Is 4 feet wide by the entire length of what was the shower & tub.

They completed the work in approximately 8 days. They were very professional and provided high quality work. They really made a point of cleaning up after themselves, and even took preventative measures to minimize work dust. Their prices are a bit higher but they are worth it for the peace of mind for the workmanship.

They were very professional and told us they would finish in 5 days and actually finished in 3 days. They were very clean. A few weeks after they completed the work I had an issue with a metal bar they had installed because it was not sealed properly and they came back out and fixed this at no additional cost. They offer a lifetime warranty on their work and use high quality materials. We are very happy with the work they did. The price initially quoted on the estimate did not change despite any issues that came up. The prices are a little high but well worth the quality of work.

Apparently, they have some ludicrous policy in which married people have to both be present when the estimator comes out. I explained to them that we work opposite schedules and the only day we have off together is Sunday. I told them the bathroom we wanted remodeled was mine and that my wife trusted my decision. They said that was their policy and that they wouldn't come out. I am a small business owner and that is hands down the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard. Went with someone else with another company that didn't require me having to be supervised by my wife.
