I can honestly say I've never been more disappointed in the level of customer service as I am with Kevin and Jill of Landscape Surgeon. Their lack of concern for their customers is the most unbelievable thing I've ever witnessed. My husband and I were selling our home and needed Kevin to fix a horrible, haphazard job he did on our front walkway. It was dangerous because the stones he was supposed to set in concrete did not hold and people were falling off the edge of the walkway. We called and left numerous voicemails as Kevin or Jill would not answer the phone, so we also texted, numerous times, we pleaded and begged and pleaded some more for Kevin to make things right. And we told him in our numerous voicemails that if he didn't have time to fix his work then simply refund a portion of what we'd already paid him so we could hire someone to do the work properly. We NEVER heard from him, regardless of the urgent need to get him to repair his poor quality work in time for house sale and then subsequent closing. I believe one of the disappointing aspects of this is that we had a previous great experience with Kevin. We paid him a lot of money to landscape our backyard and he did a tremendous job. We recommended him to many other people and when they complained to us about his poor quality of work and moaned about the fact they couldn't get him to return a phone call or repair shoddy work, well, we didn't get their complaints. We've since apologized to all these people as we lived it first hand. We mistakenly thought we had a relationship, a friendship even with Kevin and his wife Jill, but whether it be business or friendship, this is NOT the way you treat people. If you take someone's money and do poor work, it is unconscionable to not even return a phone call. Shame on both of you Kevin and Jill. You acted without any professionalism, care, or concern for your customers. To anyone who is reading this, keep looking for someone to help you with any landscaping needs, as Kevin will disappoint you, he will not honor his word or his work and he will leave you hanging to find another solution and most likely exposing you to a much greater financial output, as you will pay him and then someone else to do the same job, in essence having to pay twice for one project. You should truly be ashamed of your behavior Kevin and Jill. How do you sleep at night?
