Let me start by saying I haven't used their services. However, what I can tell you is my personal experience with the owner, Cherie Silva. I contacted her after her employee/contractor/whomever placed her commercial flyer directly onto my "No Soliciting" sign that is clearly displayed on the middle of my door. When I contacted her, I stated my name and then asked politely "Are you a political or religious organization?" She stumbled to answer me, so I clarified myself by asking "Are you a commercial business?" to which she responded "Yes." I then explained why I was contacting her. She blamed her employee, then said it was a contractor actually. I explained to her the laws of Live Oak and that she was responsible for what they do under her direction. This is where she got classy: "It's a flyer, really? I don't have time for this bullsh*t" and then hung up on me. This is a person offering housecleaning and "personal care assistance for military families, elderly, and disabled." This person is clearly trying to get into the homes of people who are vulnerable, and I do not believe she has the attitude necessary to interact with them on a day-to-day basis, and she definitely shows a complete void of patience necessary for handling people that have permanent or short term disabilities. I am a permanently disabled veteran. My sign is on the door to keep people like her from forcing me to stand up on a very painful foot and knees just so I can read an advertisement that I'm going to throw away. Cherie, my advice to you is simply this: if you want to work in the service industry, especially one that requires you to go inside of peoples' residences and deal with whatever you might encounter in a place people expect privacy and the freedom to be themselves, perhaps you should learn to deal with whatever might come your way before you even open the door. That includes valid customer complaints. I have a lot of friends that are disabled veterans, and I will be warning them about you.
